Good luck tomorrow @kpearse99! I can’t wait to hear about it!

kpearse99  good luck! My DH didn't offer much at all to our initial consult. He couldn't remember how much time it took (or didn't take) to get pregnant with DS.. he had no idea about my cycles.. etc. He just basically was there and verbally agreed to do an SA. I'm excited for you!

@mercury94 are you being monitored for your clomid cycle by your OB? I ask because I have the option to wait and see if I ovulate on my own this next cycle (which could be 30-40 days) or I can take letrozole again and move that up. I wouldn't be monitored, but now after having a consult with the RE and knowing the $1,000 price tag (not including meds) of a monitored cycle... plus the hour drive each way and needing childcare for DS..  I'm willing to give it a little more time before committing to the RE.

@NYTino24 that's how I felt about taking the appointment when they called... like, I should get in as soon as possible, right?!  I'm excited for you to go to your appointment and to hear how it went. Keep us posted!

@mokay19 I am on CD11 (out of 30) so ovulation should be arriving in about a week.  I asked them if there was a certain/better time to be seen in my cycle and they said it didn't matter for this first visit... any insight?!

@flinstone-2 ha!  That's pretty much how I envisioned my appointment going if DH was going to be there... just to nod and listen and look confused  :D

Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes and words of encouragement, you are an amazing group of ladies and I'm grateful to be a part of this group! <3 I'm getting really excited for 12:00 to arrive!  I'll let you all know how it goes :)

@flinstone-2 My OB does not monitor. I understand that is controversial (actually why I left TTGP last time).

@kpearse99 I did most of that testing through my OB last time and it wasn’t too expensive. Depends on the insurance I guess. I was quoted $600 for the HSG, but my insurance actually covered most of it and I only paid $60. (Also, I got KU the cycle I did the HSG as did multiple other women I know.)

@mercury94 i understand that. I did two femara cycles without monitoring and I confirmed ovulation through progesterone tests 7dpo plus temping. I'm not against not using monitoring at all. I just at this time don't know if I should let my body try on its own.

@flinstone-2 I’m not against the unmonitored cycles either. Definitely worked out for me last time. Just making it clear that (at least a few years ago) it was not a favored opinion. I can’t make an RE work. Would have to find the money to pay RE and then take off many work days for the 2 hour (each way) drive and figure out child care for DS. Glad I haven’t needed to take that step thus far.

mercury94 totally! That's why I'm putting the brakes on the RE situation. It's super expensive and we've only had 3 cycles.. 2 medicated and 1 natural so that's why I'm feeling I can wait a little bit. I want to make sure a need is pushing me rather than just impatience.

@begging4abump I don’t think anyone cares if you pop in and out of this thread... at least I don’t! I do the same. I’m usually here when I’m not sure if I’m in WTO or TWW and I don’t always do the formal check in either.

@begging4abump Do not feel weird about "lurking"... you belong here so you're not lurking!!  Even if you are benched, you could still post here about how you're doing!

And yes, I do have Keystone East... so I HOPE I get as lucky as you with the coverage! I was trying to read through everything online about my plan and it's so "grey" with what's covered and what's not.  I know that if I do get pregnant that they cover EVERYTHING except my first co-pay.  So hopefully they will cover the testing and stuff... I'm pretty certain they wouldn't cover IVF and maybe not even the IUI but I believe (and fingers crossed) they cover the bloodwork, US, HSG...etc.  I have a call today with them to go over what's covered and what's not so I'll know soon enough.  Thank you so much for the information and yes, like you said... looking back on things after hearing what the doctor said is really eye opening.  Like, I know I had high blood pressure, but other than having really swollen ankles and being told I needed to be on bed rest I felt FINE!
