  • @Mack2342 I'm sorry. Hopefully it was a fluke temp. Fx

Sorry @Mack2342. I was really hoping this was it. I'll still hope the temp drop was a fluke.
  • Thanks ladies my weird cramps are back too.  So confusing.
  • 40momma40momma member
@Mack2342 Ugh. I'm crossing every body part possible for you.
  • @kbrown2385 numbers look good.  FX!
  • @Mack2342 thanks! fx for you too!
  • char245char245 member
    @kbrown2385 that’s wonderful news!!!
  • I’m I’m out.  AF arrived this morning.   We will try one last time this month as I should O right around my bday.  Then we will be done.
  • Damn it @Mack2342 I'm so sorry. But I'm glad you guys are trying one last time. Everything I have is crossed for you this cycle!
  • Got my CH this morning, so I really do go here now lol, but we didn't have good timing. We weren't tta exactly but we weren't ttc super strong since I've been waiting to see when my surgery will be. They just scheduled me for 6/5 (should be cd 14) and I generally o around cd 18-19 so we should be able to hio once or twice in fw (assuming my cycle works like normal). Actually, now that I typed that out, I'm wondering if you have to wait after general anesthesia to ttc. Anyone know? I'm having my gallbladder removed, so not a super big surgery, but I will be knocked out.
  • @splashmountain I don’t know.  I mean you can drive a day later so why not right?! I hope it goes well.  Are they just going through belly button
  • ruby696ruby696 member
    I'm so sorry @Mack2342<3

@splashmountain After my D&C, my doctor cleared me to TTC right away and anesthesia never came up. So I think you're probably fine.
  • 40momma40momma member
@Mack2342 Ugh. Sorry the witch arrived. A  little birthday present sounds perfect.
  • @Mack2342 they're doing 4 small holes, one is through the belly button.

And thanks for the input, ladies. I told my ob it was coming soon and ahe didn't say anything about waiting, but I didn't specifically ask.
  • Good morning! Today I got my crosshairs, though I think that FF is off by a day or two. I think i am 1/2 DPO while FF thinks 3DPO. We'll see if the numbers change. I have an appointment with by GYN tomorrow morning to bring her the results of all my bloodwork and talk about whether or not we want to do something about my TSH levels, jump right into Clomid or just keep trying naturally. I'm also going to ask her to confirm on the ultrasound that I ovulated for peace of mind. Excited to get some answers.

  • Good luck at the appointment tomorrow @kaeineurope

  • Just got back from my appointment. Good news is that doc says that apart from my TSH level everything looks great - though she didn’t seem particularly worried about it. She prescribed me 50mg of Iforgetthename of it but something like Synthyroid (but Italian) to take once a day. She confirmed I ovulated on the ultrasound and I got to see the ruptured follicle. She also prescribed Vitamin D to take once a month, and a SA for SO - finally! She said I look great so time to start checking him out...

@kaeineurope that’s all great news! Glad she gave you some things to help and nice that they will be finally doing a SA. Hopefully all of this helps and you won’t be here much longer!!
  • @kaeineurope that is awesome you had a great appointment with some things to move forward with!

  • @char245 @chichiphin @manillabar -- Thanks ladies!

I also went to my GP in the afternoon, who though my glucose levels were a little high and wants to investigate. Since my grandmother and great-grandmother (mom's side) were diabetic, best to take a look. I started taking the Euthyrox (finally got the name of it down) this morning, and I'm going to get thyroid, glucose and Vitamin D levels checked in one month. Depending on how that looks as well as the results from SO's SA i'll decide if I want to consult an Endocrinologist. My GYN didn't seem to think that was necessary.

A bit of bad news though, my GYN also did my annual check up since it's been a year since my last. She found a lump in my right breast. She didn't seem very concerned but says I need to come back in a week to have the Senologist do a more in-depth ultrasound and take a look, as she says these kind of things need to be monitored over time. So I have that appointment next Wednesday and hopefully she'll just be look ok, come back in 6 months or a year and lets see if anything has changed.

@kaeineurope ugh doesn’t it always seem like it’s something?! I’m sorry, I hope they are able to ease your mind when you go back next week. Great that she’s doesn't seem very concerned but I’m sure the waiting isn’t easy.
  • @kaeineurope sorry you're dealing with the lump on top of everything else. Hopefully you can keep busy while you wait to find out more information. Fx for good news next week
  • @kaeineurope I’m sorry you are dealing with the lump in breast.  I had to have a biopsy a year ago for a lump in mine.  It was nothing but the waiting was the worst.   I hope you can find something to occupy your time.  FX crossed it’s nothing

  • Thanks so much @mack2342 @splashmountain @char245 -- I was fine when she told me then slowly after the last new days have been freaking out. We were away at a friend's place for the weekend, so just need to make it to Wednesday. Friday I can start testing to see if this is our month, so hoping for double good news!

  • Quick advice needed. I usually only get one day of positive OPKs, peaking in the afternoon so predicting O has always been a breeze. This month I had three straight days of blazing positive OPKs which has never happened before so I have three days to pick from. FF is giving me crosshairs on CD13 which was the day of my first OPK so it feels a little early. I'm thinking more like CD14/15. Do any of you get multiple days of positive OPKs and if so, where do you place O in all of that? Google is being of no help to me.

  • @kaeineurope I use clear blue advanced so it tells you when hormone is increasing before O.  And I frequently get two or more days of positive. I temp so typically when I see increase in temp is when I count O. My temping has slacked this month since we are traveling right now so I will probably go with FF. do you track any other signs like CM? That sometimes helps FF pinpoint
  • @Mack2342 I use the cheapie sticks and for most of my cycle the second line is very faint, so as soon as I see it getting darker I start testing 3 times a day, and when I get a positive I test even 4 times until it turns negative again. I do track CM which FF says means ovulation CD13-15 which was already the range I was working with. I had a HUGE temp drop on the 13th which is why i'm sure FF is pinpointing O there (96,51on 13th, 97,47 on 14th) but I also had quite a few glasses on wine on the night of the temp drop so I'm suspecting that might be the cause...

  • I just got back from my appointment, and It doesn't look good. They found a second mass. I'll need to do a biopsy, MRI and mammogram. Not the news I wanted.

@Mack2342 Did you get to see images of your lump? Did they order a biopsy because it had irregular edges?

  • Aww man @kaeineurope I hope it's nothing. Sending hugs and prayers your way
  • @kaeineurope yes it was irregular shaped.  They went in did the biopsy, they put a marker in my breast so they can identify the area at mammogram.  Then I had follow up mammogram 6 months later.  I think I got biopsy results the same day.  Sorry you have to go through this.  It’s scary.  I hope it’s nothing.  When can you get the biopsy? I hope it’s soon.

@kaeineurope I’m sorry the results weren’t what you were hoping. Hopefully the subsequent tests show it’s nothing serious. I can’t imagine what you’re feeling during this waiting game.

@kaeineurope I'm so sorry you didn't get good news. I'm sending you all the good thoughts and hope your upcoming tests put you in the clear. Sending hugs for a scary situation. <3

@kaeineurope thinking of you and praying it's nothing serious
  • @splashmountain @mack2342 @tyrion_ @ruby696 @40momma - Thanks guys. They wanted to do a biopsy then and there but SO intervened and wants me to get everything done in the hospital where we have a family friend who used to do pathology and has connections there. He's bringing my scans to the specialist there right now and we're just waiting for a call to see when they want me to come in. He gave me a long speech yesterday about how it's highly unlikely at my age and with no family history that this is cancer -- but I can't get the senologists face out of my head. She made no effort to reassure me. She just told me it doesn't look good and that I definitely will need a biopsy. She was also kind of a b!tch and super cold and distant.

I haven't tested yet to see if we've had any luck this cycle but i'll know by the weekend.
