I'm guessing they can't be in close quarters in case someone has a stray pet hair on their clothing or something? Lastly, the thing with the ticket numbers! It reminds me of this scene from "Meet the Parents" 😂
@crf4, you give me hope that 3 kiddos can successfully share a room! I also find that my 2 boys sleep better having each other there...had a bit of a transition phase, but since then, one can't sleep without the other. What's your set up, especially now with a school-aged kiddo? Bunk beds? Lofted bed with a desk for schoolwork unde
We are also being extremely cautious about telling people (even family) this time around. I miscarried only a few days after telling my entire family at Thanksgiving (we were exactly 12 weeks along at the time and felt "safe"), so now I feel extremely guarded. I just had to tell a few people at my side job yesterday because I work in healthcare and with the measles outbreaks, I'm trying to avoid seeing kids who potentially have measles as much as possible....and of course a kid shows up with a concerning enough story on my shift! I was so uncomfortable even hinting at pregnancy to my work colleague who graciously saw the patient, that I just know I'm not ready for any big reveals anytime soon. Haven't even seen the OB yet, so looking for reassurance at least with 2-3 good appointments before we start sharing the news with anyone else.
So I just found out this morning that my sister in law has been telling people she works with that I’m pregnant...which is a big deal because up until a mo brand a half ago I also worked w my SIL. A former coworker texted me to congratulate me and I was nice to her but I am absolutely furious with my SIL and I don’t even know what to do because I really want to drive up and yell at her in person but that’s obviously not the logical answer. Just really heated at the moment.

Here’s a random. Today I saw a guy laying on the sidewalk on 6th Avenue with his legs up in the air and no shoes on while playing random notes on the flute. 💁♀️
@MrsJessS what in the actual f**k? I would be so livid!! I'm sorry your SIL disrespected your privacy and boundaries. Maybe you shouldn't actually yell at her in the heat of the moment, but she definitely needs to be called out, even though the damage is already done.

@MrsJessS my stepsister told literally everyone at her engagement party that I was pregnant (I was barely 7 weeks and we'd only told them and my parents) when we'd been planning to wait honestly until we knew what we were having at 20 weeks. I was so livid when I found out the reason so many people were whispering was because they knew I was pregnant. So needless to say, when we (hopefully) get to announce this one to family it will be understood that they are to keep their mouths SHUT.
