For me, my MS is worse with girls. I have symptoms with boys but it isn't nausea or vomiting. It is diarrhea and being lightheaded. I have 5 previous pregnancies to compare with 2 boys and 3 girls.
For me, this is my first - a boy! - and I have had pretty rough nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, THE WORKS!
@ChelK3 I'm sorry you're going through it right now! I was still throwing up until like 3 days ago. I'm 13+2 today. I think I might be starting to feel more like myself, although still kind of queasy. Nothing like it was weeks 11 and 12 though. So hopefully you'll start feeling better soon too!
My “how’s your day going?” moment for today...I mobile ordered chipotle for lunch because the line was crazy long and I figured I’d walk for the 20 minutes it would take for them to prep my food. Turns out I ordered it to the chipotle by my house and not by work 🤦🏽♀️
@KateH1216 I did the same thing last time I mobile ordered, so annoying that their app does that! They were good about refunding though. At least you got a walk in!
@rogro118 I didn’t even think about getting a refund...I sent my husband a text and he was able to pick it up. So, I’m either having chipotle for dinner or he ate it for lunch. At least it didn’t go to waste 😑
@ChelK3 so sorry to hear that you're still feeling sick! Hopefully you're over that part soon! As for the forklift — why wouldn't they let you drive? It seems like the machine is doing the lifting, not you I don't see why that should be off limits! Hope you can stick with it!
@mimigarden, I agree! Obviously I dont think it's dangerous otherwise I wouldn't want to be doing it, but with my last pregnancy they were so protective they barely let me lift a box! A lot of times forklift drivers end up unloading the pallets as well, but there are few items over 25 pounds and I'd never be on my own so I could always ask for help if needed.
I plan on slowly telling a couple trusted guys who work with me and call on them for help with anything too heavy. I'll tell my boss only when it's way too obvious to hide any longer 😂
I should be getting the results of my NIPT by Friday, Monday at the latest. I'm feeling very impatient. I just want to know that this baby isn't at risk for anything. I also want confirmation that this baby is a boy. I'm ready to start buying things. I don't have any clothes left from DS2 because of all the vomiting he did as an infant. So I get to start from scratch. I think I'm going to start a few registries so I can take advantage of the completion discount.
@emeraldcity1214 I hope your results come today instead of Monday! I made a secret baby list on amazon but I haven't started a registry yet. I will also for the completion discount since we need another car seat. Other than that though the only stuff I need I think are pumping supplies/bottles, pacifiers, stuff like that.
Maybe a UO (and also very late to reply, lol) but I never got the hype about Chipotle. I don't live near one now but when I worked in a city with many Chipotles everyone was also wanting to go get it and I was all meh..
I took a half day today! I'm so excited. I was inspired by @gumby22c's Wendy's confession and I'm getting a Frosty and fries and then a pedicure. I can't wait. My work let me know that they will not allow me to take my 2019 vacation time at the time the baby is born so while that sucks, at least I can take a couple days/afternoons off guilt free.
@creamcheeseplease Sounds like an awesome day! I'm ducking out early...because IDAF hehe. Also, also! I actually love Chipotle lol. I used to go at least once a week. But I stopped going because I moved out of the city and now have to drive there. BOOOO. I miss this sandwich place I used to go to called Potbelly...sooo good!
It's been a long ass week and I cannot wait to sit on my butt by the pool this weekend. I would really love a few days off of work, but I have lots of family visiting this summer so I'm saving up vacation time for that.
@creamcheeseplease Hope you're enjoying your time off today! A pedicure sounds like heaven! Also, I 100% agree with you on Chipotle. I live near tons of them and have never really liked their food.

@creamcheeseplease yes, girl! Potbelly is my jam!! I was in NYC and moved about a year ago to Cali. I'm still so homesick I've found a ton of good food near me, but the driving aspect still annoys the crap out of me. Most of the time, I'd rather not get in my car again.
Man I am super emotional today! We have had a great weekend with family and we shared our pregnancy announcement yesterday and today I keep thinking about how this time next year I will be a Mommy!
I am laughing about everyone and the Chipotle because during the first trimester I literally had it EVERY DAY and @creamcheeseplease I am usually not a Chipotle fan because it is typically too spicy but baby boy must love it because from March 29th to May 4th I had it literally everyday. Then a literal switch went off and my heartburn that is prevalent during my 2nd trimester happened and boom, haven't been able to handle it since.
Also, I just want to give a shout out to all of you who have been keeping the boards clean/organized. It really makes a huge difference when coming on and not having to go through pages to find what I need because of one-off threads. So huge thanks to all of your rule reminders.
While I'm not so into Chipotle I am so down for Mexican right now... maybe this weekend. I have yet to find a good Mexican place by me since we moved a couple years ago.
Its till not that warm here, but I'm wearing a sundress and sandals. I can't take it anymore.
I'm wearing an official maternity item of clothing in public for the first time today! It's so comfy and cute! I seriously cannot recommend asos enough!
@kopp5988 that's the worst!! I always trick myself into thinking the pants will be okay before I leave the house...and then as the day goes on, I'm like 'IVE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE'
I'm on the hair tie button now and praying for it to get consistently warm and sunny so I don't have to wear pants anymore
@kopp5988 - Ouch. I always feel that way in the afternoons when sitting all day too. Even if pants fit in the morning by the afternoon I am desperate to change into my leggings.
I am officially out of the buttons on my pants too haha I have been using my Bellaband to keep all my pants up. I definitely need to invest in some maternity jeans. My last ones didn't survive my last pregnancy so I am due for a shopping trip
I'm spending the day cleaning my house, because it is a total disaster, and grocery shopping. I need to actually meal plan so I can feed my kids something healthy. I wish I had someone to just tell me what to cook and what ingredients to buy. It would make my life so much easier.
@emeraldcity1214 same here on the house cleaning 😬. My MIL just got me a one time house cleaner for Mother’s Day and I cannot waiiiit to get a deep clean in. We’ve been doing renovations since we moved in April 2016, and we’re finally finished at the end of next week (aside from one unused bedroom upstairs we’ll tackle in September). There’s so much dust coating everything in my house, I can’t get it all no matter how hard I try, and my husband banned me from standing on the counters to clean the walls so I’m excited someone else will do it for me! My son will have to say bye to the “construction crumbs” that he calls the dirt haha.
I highly recommend professional housecleaning before baby comes! My mom got me a couple housecleanings right after I returned to work and it was awesome.
@rogro118 omg so cute that your toddler calls dirt "construction crumbs"!
@purplefan1 I wish I knew what my toddler would eat too.. recently he refused pizza. Pizza! WTF child. He usually loves pizza too.
@emeraldcity1214 Someone in my other BMB swears by Emeals. It makes a meal plan based on your preferences, and can make a grocery order at Walmart with all the needed ingredients!
Wanted to share this sweet letter my son wrote for me in school. He's not a great speller but he has the sweetest, kindest soul and I can't wait to see him be a big brother. He's singing in the shower right now so that makes multiple times he's made my heart swell today. Soo proud to be his momma. Parenting isn't easy but it's sooooo rewarding in these little moments when you realize you made/are making an awesome little human. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The last drive by got under my skin. I feel it is insulting to say that we have ignored her. I don't think anyone, whether they are very active or only post one or two things, gets ignored on this board. 😑

I felt a little bad posting it on that thread but.. emeraldcity for the win on that one! Anyway, now I bet she never comes back.
