We are both super shocked. My family is all girls for generations, and I was so sure this was another girl. I have no boy names!!! Lol. Super shocked but really excited. ๐ And DD keeps talking about โbaby brudderโ and itโs just so cute.ย
@m123mm I personally thought it was a great process. I got the test in two days from ordering it. The actual process of getting the blood wasn't so bad. I didn't think it hurt at all to be honest and it's a bit tricky to get the blood in the container but I was able to do it by myself. As long as you follow the instructions it works well. My only complaint was it took 2 weeks to get the results because I'm from Canada and USPS took forever. But sneak peek was fantastic! I found out within 2 hours of when they got my blood sample.ย
I found out week before last by panorama test that we are having another boy. The MFM was able to confirm on the ultrasound last week. We are so excited!
Whoa, lots boys in here and we just found out that we are having one, too! We asked my sister to check try results of NIPT first and then she took her kids (boy and girl) in another room with the expectation that one (either the boy or the girl) would run out with a sign announcing it. And it was our nephew! He was so cute and excited (he is two).ย
We have mostly girls in our family so, honestly, I was kind of hoping for girl (at least for our first...) But my nephew is so cute it gives me hope!! ๐
I'm loving all these announcements. I'm patiently/not so patiently waiting for our 20 week US. I have 7 more weeks to wait. Is Sneak Peak worth it...?ย
@deatonpartyofthree Iโm right there with you!! 3 more weeks until our 20 week. Everyone keeps telling me to go pay for a early look. I already have a boy and a girl so this will be our tie breaker. Iโm ready to find out though lol

To my delight I discovered that I have a patient portal that I didn't realize about, so I innocently signed up and logged onto my records. It was fun reading the doctor's notes from the various visits, then "oh wow, my CVS report is right here too"....Well within four words the sex was right there! I cried because this was such a dumb way to ruin it and I'm in denial. I have not said the sex out loud and refuse to acknowledge that I know until this baby is here *blinders up*

Aw thanks @emily1052@obsessedwithoranges@galentine@cooaladolly, okay now that my shock/sadness is wearing off I'm kind of feeling giddy and don't think I can hold this in for 23~ more weeks. I'm not ruining it for MH and I won't tell anyone else that I found out, so maybe I can just rejoice about it with my TB friends instead?ย

@marbellie I'm so sorry you found out by accident! I feel like them putting that info in your portal when you asked not to know went against your wishes. When I was team green I was so afraid of someone knowing and slipping the news (such as an ultrasound tech, etc). If it's any comfort, I think knowing and not knowing are both really fun (just different) experiences!

I was 12.5 weeks and was so happy baby girl cooperated and finally turned over during our session so the sex could be determined ๐
