@septoctkids can I join the club? I spent middle school and high school living in MA, and now live in New Orleans and I'm not sure I've seen anyone from the south at all on this board, much less anyone from Louisiana haha
P.S. way late to the club, but @diner04 - my due date is 9/7 too! Welcome!!

I think the big difference anywhere outside of Wisconsin, is the cheese curds are typically deep-fried and therefore are gooey/hot but don’t squeak. In Wisconsin a cheese curd is like fresh from the farm that hasn’t been cooked and therefore it’s squeaky. (Think of like a slice of cheese from the store vs. on a grilled cheese sandwich). If you want a cheese curd like most other people are thinking (with a thin coating around it and cooked), you have to ask for deep fried cheese curds.

Hi, I am going to consider myself a lurker. As I have really posted anything in like over a month ... and it's not like I posted alot before then. Work has been crazy busy and our 18 month old has been having ear infections like crazy (we are waiting on an appointment for her to get tubes in her ears). I haven't made the time for the bumb which makes me sad as I still talk with the Nov 2017 bump group and would like the same with this little one. So life goal is to bump more!! Also my due date is Sept 6 and we should be finding out at our May 1st appointment if we are having a boy or girl. ..... Also they make cheese curds up here in Canada too and they are the best!!!
Hello!! I recognize your screenname so you’re not a complete stranger! 😊 DS has tubes in his ears - he got it done when he was about 15 mo. (Knock on wood) We have been ear infection free since then (he’s almost 2 now). Best decision ever!!! I hope that’s the case with your DD as well!!
Hi all! I've definitely been inconsistent in posting on here. I love my O16 bump group and really want to do better with this one. Work and a toddler I tell you are keeping me busy. Will try and do better. Also, on the cheese curd topic...had never heard of them until I met my husband who is from MN. But now I love them
All of you Wisconsinites can keep your squeaky cheese curds over on your side of the state line ! I've had them many times and just can't get on board. If you want to start selling New Glarus out of state though, I wouldn't be opposed!
@kdl89 I think I may need to go get some cheese curd poutine! Also that really sucks about the ear infections. Hopefully that appointment comes quickly.
@kdl89 and @UFJen HIIIIII!!!! And welcome! I totally get it too--I have a 2 year old toddler at home, we've all basically been sick on and off since October, and sometimes it can be very hard to get on the bump and find time for yourself and your preggo girls! but I'll tell ya, the ladies here are so wonderful and I'm always so much happier when I'm able to connect with them! We really have an awesome BMB for Sept 19 so come hang with ussss!!
Creepy lurker here...I have been around lurking since I found out I was pregnant, but have never posted! I have a DS who is 2.5, and am expecting a baby girl now. EDD is 9/27! I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the posts I've been reading for the past few months LOL
Re: Come and play with us, lurkers!
