Hello everyone! Congrats to all you mommas-to-be!

Like a few others, I am cautiously excited about my BFP! I just found out this past Tuesday that I’m pregnant with our first! And I’m also trying to keep my substantial worries and fears at bay...I’m just over 4 weeks, due 12/24. :)

I’m 30, husband is 36, we have a 5 year old dog, and I’m a middle school teacher.

I can’t wait to get to know you all better!
  • @ninrms hey due date twin!

I'm also a teacher! Wondering how morning sickness is going to affect my teaching. Thankfully not too bad yet! I teach kindergarten though so we've got slightly different situations (though sometimes my kids create enough drama for middle school!)
  • @mama_mea Due date twins AND both teachers--I love it! :) I'm worried about the morning sickness and teaching, too. I'm not sure how I feel about the final weeks of school coinciding with my first trimester.  I'm also not tenured (though I've been renewed for next year), so I won't be sharing the pregnancy news with the school anytime soon...might make things a bit trickier!

Good luck! I hope your sweet kindergarteners are understanding! :)
  • @ninrms good luck to you as well!

Once contract signing time comes up next month I will finally tell my school. They're pretty good about women leaving for babies.

I hope it goes well for you!
  • Hi everyone!

This is my third pregnancy and when my daughter was born in 2012, my bump group was a lifesaver and some of those women are still my fiends now 😊. Super excited to get to know everyone through the next few months.

EDD is 12/23, daughter was born in 2012 and my son in 2015. We live in Philly 💜. Congrats everyone!
  • Hey y'all!

My EDD is December 31st, but as this rainbow baby will be number 3 (4th pregnancy), I'm not sure I'll make it past 12/31. I had a missed MC March 2018, and have been TTC every month since. I got my BFP last week (really early to my surprise), so I'm being optimistically cautious that I'll be able to stay here for the remainder of the year. Since I'm last on this party train, my first OB appointment isn't until May 20th. Until then I'll be cheering everyone on and keeping my fingers crossed for a sitcky baby!

I have DS (D14 Baby) and DD (O16 Baby), married to DH for 6 years (together for 16) and am a WAHM. I look forward to connecting with everyone!

  • Hello! STM here, my first was a boy in June 2017, just got my BFP a few days ago, a rough EDD of Dec 27 (exactly 6 months away from my son's birthday!)
I'm 37, in Ontario Canada, and trying to become part of another strong community, and help out any FTM's because this group was a lifesaver/sanity saver for me the first time around. There's still ~60 women from my J17 group who are in a Facebook group together and going strong!
  • Hey All.  I'm cautiously joining Dec 19 after a positive test this evening.  Due 12.28.19 and have a 6.5yo DS and a 5yo DD.  *TW* I had a MMC last summer, and while we weren't preventing, this is a bit of a surprise as we assumed a 3rd baby just wasn't meant to be.  So much so that we just scheduled DHs vasectomy for early May.  :o

Nice to "meet" you all.  I may not jump too far into this board until after my 1st US, but then again, maybe I will. ;)

I work in Pediatrics at the moment at a children's treatment centre. But I do private as well and treat both adults and peds. What about yourself?

@loandbaby I’m in the schools with an autism program :) I really enjoy the medical side but I love where I’m at now... especially since I only have to work 3 days a week and have basically the same schedule as my kiddos! 💚

    Hi Congratulations to everyone!

    FTM - EDD - 12/7/ 2019 - 1st IVF - FET. Single embroyo transfer. PGS tested.

2 prior missed mcs from natural pregnancies.

Currently 7 weeks 2 days preggers with good heartbeat@150 at u/s today.

I cannot wait for 12 week milestone and while I try to stay positive - I am terrified before every scan.

My consistent symptom is extreme fatigue. I am sleeping crazy number of hours. I hate all food since last week and if at all I want to eat - it is only fruits or cold food. My only craving is gazpacho. Have also been feeling chills since yesterday.

We live in NY. I am really hopeful this time and looking forward to stick around till Dec.

All the best everyone! Looking forward to get to know all of you more. X

  • @melissaeckberg I’m so sorry for all of your losses. I have been testing every couple days until my dr appt in 3 weeks.

  • Hi! I'm due with #4 around Dec 20. I have an 8 year old, 2.5 year old, and 14 mo old, all boys. First two were the result of A LOT of IUIs. Last two were surprises, though I suppose I can't claim too much shock about this last one. That third one was very unexpected, though! lol. I'm still nursing the younger two, but am really hoping to at least wean the 2 year old, if not both, before #4 comes. No morning sickness yet, and I tend to get it bad, though I think breastfeeding helps. My biggest concerns right now (other than my sanity) are space in the car and in the house. We currently have all three in one row in an X5, but are looking at adding an Expedition or Navigator XL to fit all the kids and the double jogging stroller! Oh, I'm a SAHM, originally from central Illinois, been in PA for many years, currently TDY with Air Force hubs in the South.
  • Thank you! So far, so good. One day at a time.
  • Hi Everyone! I am a 30 yo STAHM and my EDD is 12/18. This will be my 5th baby / 7th pregnancy. We have been trying for a few years on and off, after a couple of MCs. I have three DD ages 13, 10, and 8. And one DS age 5. I have yet to tell anyone the news because we are waiting until I hit that 4 month mark. Then I will breath a little easier. I look forward to getting to know everyone and wish you all the best!
  • @rlbost25 I’m in Kentucky also, what part of the state do you live in? We’re about 20 minute away from Frankfort and Georgetown
