And I am the opposite, I freaking love pink 😬💕 it’s one of the reasons I’m team green because I know I will go balls to the wall if I find out it’s a girl 😆 there will be plenty of time for that later if we do end up having a girl! Oddly pink was my least favorite color growing up, idk when that switch happened...

I am very much my kid will wear pants unless she decides she wants to wear a dress. While I just hate the color pink, I won’t care if she wants to wear it. Ruffles and frilly things, on the other hand, are going straight in the donation pile
Early Thursday confession: I love all the ruffles. I have a photo of my husband holding my infant niece while she's wearing pink leggings with ruffles on the butt. There is something about the photo - my H's very masculine, rugged hand, with his wedding ring on, lovingly cradling her teeny tiny little ruffle-butt while she sleeps on his chest.... idk, man. It's just absolutely irresistible, and my heart explodes with love every time I look at the picture.

I love ruffles too! Another thing I hated when I was young but love now. Our little girl will definitely have some ruffled clothing - then when she's old enough to tell us what she likes, the ruffles can stay or go, up to her!

We were team green with my first so as a baby she wore a lot of gender neutral with a headband slapped on. But she's 3 now and she lives in pink and glitter and tutus. It's a whole new world for me, and I love it.
@cmbt2 super hilarious, my brother and his wife are the opposite of all things girly and prefer mostly black clothes, never ever encouraged their daughter into girly things, but my niece love glitter and sparkles and heels and it just cracks me up. It’s so funny how different kids can end up from their parents! Funny enough I’d love it if I had a daughter that she would be different from me, I was so damn rebellious and mouthy growing up til about high school where I finally chilled out 😬 makes me nervous that I’m going to get it back ten fold...
Add me to the love all things pink and ruffled. If I end up having a girl I will take advantage of that while I can because I don't expect it to last once she has an opinion.

GTKY: Tell us about your pets! We have 3 pups. Sierra (10.5) is a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix we found on Craigslist. Harley (10.5) is a GSD mix we rescued (she was abandoned with her sister in a box thrown over a fence 😭) and Wallace (8) is a 125lb Newfoundland mix we rescued from my parent's local shelter. We also have 2 garage cats, Ava (11) and Louis (7) and a tank full of fish including a 7+ inch pleco!

How are you feeling?: I'm actually feeling pretty great right now! Weeks 6-11/12 were pretty rough, but the past week or two I've been feeling pretty great -- my biggest issue right now is that my SI joints are killing me and it feels way too early for that nonsense. I'm happy that I'm no longer starving all the time and am able to get back to eating *mostly* a healthy-ish diet!
Rants/Raves: No rants right now. Raves - I started a new job not too long ago and I finally feel like I've really hit my groove lately, so that has me feeling pretty good!

GTKY: Tell us about your pets! No pets right now, but I grew up with dogs (boxers). My mom just got a brand new boxer puppy and I can't wait to meet her! We'll probably get a dog at some point later when the kids are a bit older.
@Cass005@cmbt2 YAY!! I love that. I was due late September last time so it's funny to be beginning of the month this time. I also was told at my first US that baby was measuring 5 days ahead so they bumped me up to 9/28, but then when I went for my next appt they told me to go back to my original EDD regardless of measurements. So who knows when this baby will come (not that we ever really know)!
@jenferlee82, @emily0829: obviously I'm biased, but I have to agree! Walter is the best. I think he knows that I'm 🤰 now. Usually he cuddles with my H at night. Lately he's been sandwiched up next to me.
