@stephanie123456, I have an assortment! Chocolate chip with pecan (my favorite!), double chocolate, sugar, monster, and white chocolate macadamia nut. I expect I'll eat at least one of each today!
My random for the day is that I am both excited and annoyed by the rotation of people coming through my house to work on our basement. I'm excited because we will have so much more space and value (we're adding two bedrooms, a bathroom, a storage space, and bonus area/play room to what is currently just a finished family room down there), and I'm annoyed because I'm trying to work and the plumber is here, and they are SO FREAKING LOUD! I may need to leave and find somewhere else to work until they are done.
I finally told my manager and senior manager yesterday and my team mates this morning. It’s a relief to not have to pretend any more especially since I feel pretty off today.
My team mate is also pregnant and due on September 23 and is very excited that our babies will be the same age! None of them had any clue I was pregnant though, so I guess I was pretty good at hiding things.
And @galentine, what is wrong with your coworkers? I’d be all over those cookies!!
@cmbt2 - I don't want to clog up the sex thread (how many times have we said that in here?! Lol), but I'd love to hear the story, if there is one, for how/why you found out! I thought you were team green!

I was.. DH wasn’t. He really wanted to know, and I felt bad knowing I was able to give him that information instead of making him wait until the anatomy scan. Part of my reasoning for not wanting to know was the fact that I didn’t want to deal with the comments of “oh, you just had to go for that girl, didn’t you?” or “a house full of boys! You’re going to be eaten out of house and home!” I also wanted that delivery room experience of “it’s a boy/girl” but those didn’t seem like fair reasons compared to his desire to find out 🤷🏼♀️
i tried to do a cute reveal, though- I had a “little brother” and “little sister” sleep n’ play stashed away, so I surprised him by showing him the “little sister” one when I told him the report with the sex was available
@cmbt2 very cute!! Yeah, I’m sure you get it too since you are a boy mom (x2) but I hate when people assume that I only want a girl since I already have a boy... uh, my son is awesome and I would be ecstatic to have another. People keep saying if it’s a girl, I can be “done”. 🤦🏼♀️
My random for today is after my 12 week OB appointment, they literally scheduled my next ones ALL the way up until 36 weeks. No wonder they were so difficult when I was trying to make my initial appointment and the one I went to today... they booked me up until mid-September.

We've been working a lot on potty training/learning with DS and have given him some extra guidance on ways he can help keep messes to a minimum. That said, when I came home from work today I had to pee right away. I went to the bathroom and he called to me saying "Mommy where are you?". I called back "I'm on the potty". He then says, "You're on the potty? Are you pointing your penis down?" LOL. This kid cracks me up so much!
What cmbt said. I actually found it easier then a girl. I was always so worried about neice being clean enough (especially since she was 2.5 and didn't sit still well for changes).
@stephanie123456 when we told people that DS2 was a boy, all the comments were along the lines of “gonna go for a third to get your girl?” No... our plan was to always go for 3 if it would work out, sex of the child didn’t matter. I’d have been ecstatic if it was a 3rd boy, too. I really just don’t want to deal with the comments this time around. They’re all going “hoping for a girl??”

Ha! I did this a few days ago. It was my fault, I had to pee for a while and waited, then sneezed and...welp. Won't be waiting that long again.
I totally had a girl dream last night! Is it wishful thinking or a premonition?? I had very, VERY clear boy dreams with my first. Zero for my second! @cmbt2@grapeskittles4lyfe Congrats!!!!!! I had dreams of this one being both 🤷🏼♀️ My boys both said this one was a girl. Looks like they’re right! (Though I am still going to have the ultrasound confirm lol)
Random scared thought about beim team blue - how the frick do I clean his diaper area? Girls are so much more straightforward.
Funny, I actually think boys are easier to wipe/clean down there. With girls there are so many crevasses! With boys the harder thing to wrap your head around is dealing with the circumcision in the beginning (if you decide to do that).
@grapeskittles4lyfe I’m the opposite and more concerned about diaper changes for a girl! I feel like it’s easy with a boy going every which direction but you have to be careful with girls and not getting poo up in there and such. It stresses me out just thinking about it 😆
Hi all. Sorry I keep popping in and then disappearing. I'm really going to try to be around a bit more!! I told my boss and my workers last week so that was a huge weight off my shoulders. Now I'm just here waiting to find out the results of my genetic testing!!

This is super random and I didn’t want to clog up the sex announcement thread. Someone asked about the Ramzi theory and argued that a clinical blood draw was just a “test” reminded me of someone on another forum asking if anyone has seen a physic medium to determine the sex of their baby. Whut??
Another person responded they did and (surprise surprise) the physic was wrong.
My grandma started chemo today. She has stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her bones. It’s not curable but treatable. It’s been really hard on her mentally, and especially hard on my mom. This is kind of a dear diary but I just felt like sharing it because I’m sad.
