FFWC: I couldn't get into This Is Us, I tried. I didn't make it past 3 episodes
Well here's an area we can agree! I tried to watch into season 2 and just couldn't do it. I found myself scrolling through FB more the watching so I gave up.
@Galentine I looked and apparently CW has contracts with Netflix. And they likely wont have it until Aug when the season wraps up 😟 I'll have to try the CW app tomorrow, though I'd rather not watch it on my phone....
I have been dying for a big taco salad for a couple days, and since the craving hasn't gone away, I think I'm going to give in to it tonight. I am so looking forward to that giant, crispy taco shell! Yum.
While at Disneyland yesterday while waiting for DH, DS and AIL (since I couldn't go on some of the bumpier attractions), I was enjoying seeing all of the different kinds of strollers. With DS, we got the Chicco KeyFit travel system which came with the Cortina stroller. We primarily chose this because of the high safety ratings of the car seat but I wasn't too big of a fan of the stroller.. So this time around, I want something a little sleeker. I'm sure we'll do a product spotlight later on this topic but I've definitely been researching already. Not sure if we should invest in a double stroller, since DS will be 5 when the baby comes (he's already over 45lbs and over 42").
I woudn't invest in a double unless you are planning to have a third close together with #2. Your five year old might enjoy one of the skateboard attachments instead. That way he can easily hop on and off. We have one for our Baby Jogger City Select (which I don't recommend, but I know several stroller brands have skateboard attachments) and my 3.5 year old likes it.
@junebabyh Good point. DH is saying we are "two and done" so I would not anticipate having another. I really like the Evenflo Pivot and it does have an add-on stroller board attachment.

Even if you're a cable cutter, you should still be able to get the CW with an antenna! I have one that is USB and hooks to the back of my TV. It was like $30 on Amazon, I think. And if you have a tablet, grab the app on that instead of your phone! That's the only way I keep up with Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin. I'm so bummed they're both near the end of their lives. 🙁
@galentine Hopefully you do get it! It's one of the standard channels, like Fox, CBS, PBS, ABC, NBC, etc. Sometimes antennas are a little funky and don't come in perfectly, but I haven't experienced that in over ten years or so. 🤷

This. We have an uppababy vista because of a Craigslist score. DD1 could sit in it until well past 4 but 5 might be pushing it.
As for stroller boards, we have this one on our vacation stroller (courtesy GIS; not my kid). The seat and/or the steering wheel is removable for bigger kids so they can stand
We're in the week before spring break and DH has been working out of town, so I feel like I've been running around like a mad woman lately. I've been lurking, but I haven't had the chance to really post. I'm not abandoning you, though!
I'm here. Just being lazy and tired. I cannot repeat CANNOT stay up until MN playing a video game when i'm pregnant and my inside babe will wake me to pee around 4 and my outside child will wake me at 730ish. Did I mention I also have horrible pregsomnia lately and it's taking me anywhere from and hour too two, to fall asleep.
@junebabyh Outlander, that the tv series is based on. I haven’t watched the show but definitely will start after I finish the book. It’s 627 pages but I’m moving through it quickly
@melanier26 I’ve read ALL of the outlander series and I love them!! I’ve only watched a few episodes of the show because I don’t have Starz.... someday it will be on Netflix, I know it will!

Does anybody on here take Diclegis? I know it's expensive (like, whoa; it looks like it would be $545 with my insurance!) and that it's basically just B6 and Unisom, but it's in an extended tablet form, I believe. My nausea has been a nightmare this week (9/10 bad, all day, every day) and my doctor just prescribed it. We found a savings card on their website (making it as low as $40), but I'm curious if it's even worth it.
My husband is headed to the store now to see if it's ready, and if it's not, I didn't know if it would even be worth the bother once it is.

@meagan-t I take it. My first pregnancy I noticed a huge difference when I switched from unisom. Not sure if it was the extended release or if I was just about to feel better anyway. This time I’m honestly not sure if it’s making a difference.
My friend asked me what my theme was going to be because she’s a knitter and knits the cutest baby themed outfits! I do not have the patience to knit, but it’s so cute. I’m so excited!

Uugghhhh one of my moms coworkers just basically outed me to niece. I know she already suspects because shes seen me go though the 1st tri 3 times now (didn't know about the second loss until after but at 10 likely put it together in hindsight). So coworker made a comment about not being able to see around my belly. I glared at her and she didn't catch on. Another coworker tried to cover it by commenting about how she should ask me to suck my boobs in too and the 1st one made a comment about a glass of milk 😫. Niece isn't dumb. Any suspicion she had is most likely now confirmed. We are telling them tonight but seriously. She knew we hadn't told them yet. When I got a second alone I reminded her and got "oh I forgot" 🙄🙄

@meagan-t I take Diclectin which is pretty much the same thing and I notice a difference from when I don’t take it. I feel my nausea is worse this pregnancy and did not take anything with my son. I am happy for the prescription, it is making things more manageable for me.

It took me a year to read the current 8 books in the Outlander series. I've yet to read any of the John Grey books.
But I LOVE Outlander. I just had a dream about Sam Heughan last night

Had to literally step in between some boys to stop a fight in class today. I hate the Friday before Spring Break. I wish I could have a drink with my coworkers today, but instead I'll just eat some guacamole and sip on lemonade.
@nachellebeck13 I finished the first book this morning and just requested the second from the library. I have the house to myself all evening tonight (🥳) and plan on binging as much of the first season as I can. I don’t think I’ve seen Sam Heughan in anything but I am a sucker for a Scottish accent 😊
