@sonorous622 my husband is 7-12. His primary instrument is trombone. How about yours? I majored in voice but I’m also a violinist. I taught High School for 4 years and this is my first year doing middle school. I transferred because this school has a huge appreciation for the arts. NYC is huge and we can easily transfer and keep our tenure which is awesome!
@runningfortwo81 with my first I felt so guilty because we got pregnant with the first month of trying. I would say “we were lucky and never know what will happen when we try getting pregnant again.” I wish I never said that because it took us almost 2 years to get pregnant with this one. Lol I feel like I jinxed myself. Enjoy this pregnancy and congrats!
Happy Sunday! I’m a working Mom of two, DS 5 & DD 3 (almost 4 on the 19th). DH & I tried for about 9 months and just when we said we’d stop trying, everything fell into place. According to my LMP my EDD is 11/4. However, I went up to 42 weeks and had to be induced with both pregnancies. I was able to stay home with my son for a year and about 5 months with my daughter. This time around I’ll only get 12 weeks and it’s already hard to think about. I’m a Kindergarten teacher and hope to find an amazing substitute. In the meantime I try not to worry about those things and just enjoy the news. I scheduled my first OB appt for 9 weeks on 4/1, I pray all is well. If everything is going well we may announce to our kids on Easter (what a fun Easter Egg surprise) or on Mother’s Day. I’m looking forward to being part of this community!
Hi all! My EDD based on LMP is 11/12. I'm 29 and this will be my second little, but first to my partner that I am with now. I'm a chemist. I'm so excited to see the next months unfold. Here's to happy, healthy pregnancies for all!!
I am so excited and so nevrous. I am due mid November. First blood draw my HCG was 336 and two days later was 756. I am hopeful this is great news and baby is healthy. We lost our first to a miscarriage at 10 weeks about a year and half ago, and last June I found out I had a partial molar pregnancy at 16 weeks, but 3rd time is a charm.
This will be my DH and I's first baby. We have two little fur babies that we live and can't wait to grow up with our little one. I am a kindergarten teacher. Excited to share my birthday month with my baby!!
@zoinx I’m a Kinder teacher as well! I’m hoping to hang in as long as possible before taking leave! Are you already thinking about choosing a long term sub?
@zoinx Congrats on the BFP! I'm 38 and also had a MC at 10 weeks last year. DH and I tried for 6 months with no luck before turning to IVF. I'm 5w2d with my first FET cycle. EDD is 11/8. Have had 2 positive betas so far and have my first ultrasound tomorrow morning. FX this one is a success.
Hi November Mom to be's! We are expecting our double rainbow baby Nov 7! This will be our first baby, we are so excited and nervous to get passed the 7-8 week mark - hoping this one will stick! Good luck to everyone!!
Hi! We just found out our FET worked and are pregnant with #2! We have a 3.5 year old son already. He was also a Nov due date, but born at the end of Oct. I'm excited for another (potential) Nov baby! EDD is 11/15.
I got my BFP this morning! We are over the moon for the first time since November 24th. This will be our rainbow baby. We lost our 6 week old baby to SIDS and we have been devasted beyond what words can describe. We have been getting on because of our 4 year old and now, it looks like we have found more purpose. We are so incredibly grateful for this baby, as we feel he or she was handpicked by our LO in heaven.
According to my LMP, my due date should be November 23, which puts me at 3 weeks and 2 days today. I’ve called my OB and am waiting for a call back from my nurse on the date for my first appointment.
So thankful to be a part of a community who we get to grow with. Can’t wait to meet you all!
@Knottie22946972 congrats on your rainbow baby! And welcome! As an FYI we don’t post picture of pregnancy tests on this board. The place to post those is on the first trimester board at the thred pinned to the top that called “what a positive pregnancy test looks like”. Also in the future when you do post a picture of anything (other than a POAS pic) it’s best to use a spoiler.
Hi everyone! My estimated due date is 11/2. I'm 31 and live in the Boston area with my husband and our cat. We've been together 9 years and married since October 2017. This will be our first child and the first grand baby on both sides. We're super excited to become parents!
I'm particularly interested in connecting with other Boston area and/or plus sized ladies. I've already faced some weight stigma and I'm in the process of switching OB practices.
@Knottie22946972 In addition to everything that @kopp5988 said, would you mind changing your username when you get a chance. It would much easier for everyone to get to know you without the default knottie +numbers username. You may have to log out and log back in for the new name to take effect.

@musicalfamily - that's so great! In high school I was a singer and played violin and was devoted to both equally. However in my senior year I started playing viola so all my degrees are in Viola Performance! That's wonderful that your jobs offer that flexibility. Since we are Mississippi it's a bit tougher down here, this is actually the first time in 2 years my husband is being paid for full time work (he had another job that required 50 hours a week but was only paid part time).... so we are hopeful this one sticks for a while, we could use some amount of stability.
hey y’all 😜 i’m 23 & my husband is 22. we have a yorkie & two cats. this is our first pregnancy. i have pcos & we’ve been trying for awhile with no success until i got on some fertility meds. i looked at the test for 20 minutes thinking it was wrong lol. we are from ohio but the military brought us to south carolina. my estimated date is november 3rd. he will be deployed throughout some of the pregnancy & the birth! i’ve never done anything like this before so i hope i did it right.😂
Hey knottie, welcome and congrats! When you get a few minutes change you username. It is difficult for us to interact with you on the board because we can't tell you apart from all the other knottienumbers. You may need to log out and back in for it to change.
Hi everyone. Second time around for me. I already have a rampaging 2 year old toddler and an 8 year old step son. Hubby has 4 kids in total (I'm wife number 3). Due on 21st and really hoping I don't get Pelvic Girdle Pain as bad as last time. I'm a website designer and Music teacher, living in Yorkshire, UK. X
@emeraldcity1214 i didn’t realize i needed to log out! i changed it when i first made account but have that holding period so when i made the comment i was confused why it wasn’t the username i set it too lol thank you!
Another IVFer here! Maybe jumping the gun by joining this group, as my beta isn’t until 3/18. But I’ve been turning positives since 5dp5dt (currently 8dp5dt) and I’m hoping it sticks around!
We had our 4th embryo transfer on 3/4, which would put my EDD at November 20. We transferred two big beautiful embryos (our last ones!) so we’re really hopeful that this is it!
I live with my DH in the east coast of Canada. I desperately want a dog, but I haven’t been able to convince him yet. Maybe first baby then dog???
im so excited to join you all! We did a FET on March 1 and it was successful! My EDD is 11/17. I have a DD who was also an IVF baby born in June 2017. I’m cautiously optimistic that this pregnancy will stick and be as uneventful as my first We are from the Boston area originally and now live in VA for my husbands job. I’m a SAHM and also nanny for a 2 year old girl.
im looking forward to gettting to know you all this year!
Hey ladies! 11/7 due date here! I am a registered nurse turned SAHM since having DS June 2016. Currently living in Ohio with my DH & DS. Not going to lie, I’ve been lurking for a few days....nervous/anxious since having a missed miscarriage October 2018 at 6wks that ended with a D&C. So praying very hard for this rainbow babe!!! Looking forward to this journey and to share it with you all!
Hello everyone and Congratulations! I am 38 years old and my dh is 40. We have been trying for years to get pregnant and finally got our first positive pregnancy test last week after a FET using our last embryo from our IVF cycle. We are both super excited to finally be able to get a chance to be parents.
I have been lurking for the past few days and I find it really comforting and interesting to hear other people's stories and experiences. I like how they have these boards set up with the bump month clubs.
Hey everyone. I'm hoping this will be our second baby, due 11/21 so it's super early for me. I'm 27 and DH is 28. We have a 4 year old DD who will be 5 in October. I say hope, because this baby would be our quadruple rainbow *TW* we've had 4 losses since our daughter and really want this baby to stick. Our first loss was due 11/30/16 so the timing hits close to home
Hey! My name is Jessica. Round 3 here. I have a 4yo son and a 2yo daughter. Just had BFP today, so EDD is 11/15. DH and I are both middle school math teachers, live in Indy, have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and will be Team Green!
Hi Everyone! I'm new here, so still learning the ropes. I'm 34 and live in Texas with my husband and our two pups. Just got my first BFP on 3/8, first round of betas on 3/12, and the EDD is 11/15. We had been doing fertility testing for the last few months after trying for about a year with no success. Plan was to start our first round of IUI on this next cycle in March, and low and behold, we got our BFP!
As part of the testing, I had an HSG in late January to check my fallopian tubes, and the doctor said that it can possibly increase fertility for the 1-3 months following, and well, I think she was right!
I'm also heterozygous for Factor V Leiden, which puts me at an increased risk for blood clots and miscarriage. I've read some scary things about women with this condition, so looking forward to seeing a hematologist today. Minimal approach is baby aspirin daily, and more drastic could be daily heparin or lovenox (anticoagulant) shots. Scared, but trying to stay optimistic.
Sending best wishes to all of you new moms to be! And looking forward to sharing this adventure with all of you!
I’m 26 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I live In Indiana. I calculated my due date to be November 7. My fiancé and I are getting married on June 15 of this year and we are so excited to have a little one on the way! We have 3 fur babies and hope they are as excited as we are for the little one. I hope you all have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!
Hi knottie, welcome and congrats! When you get chance, can you change your username? It will be hard for us to interact with you because we can't tell you apart from the other knottienumbers. You may need to log out and back in.
My estimated due date is Nov 4th (also my birthday! ). Found out at 3 weeks 4 days, and have had major symptoms since - tons of nausea and breast pain for the last few weeks. I have one child already (a 2 yr old) and didn't have any nausea until 8+ weeks with him. Anxious for my first appointment which is Mar 29.
We moved state the day I found out I was pregnant and it's been tough trying to figure out where to register as a patient etc. We are in Chicago now. I'm currently at home with my son full time but also finishing up grad school.
Congrats to you all, glad to be part of the Nov group!
Hi, I'm Ally, I was part of the June 2019 club but we had a loss. Hopefully November 2019 will be the month for me. I have an edd of 11/22 according to my lpm. I have dd who is 6 and autistic and begging for a baby sister, ds is 4 , so's son is 2 and not ready to give up his throne... lol but I love him and I'm sure he will be fine.
@allydsal welcome and congrats. There are several of us here from the June 19 board. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hopefully we can all finish out in this BMB. 😊
Hi ladies. Based off my LMP I am due 11/15. My first appt is 4/3.
I live in MN, have two sons (8 and 5), and am a little nervous about adding a 3rd, especially since it's been a while since the baby stage for us. But I'm also very excited!
Hi everyone! This is my first time posting on any sort of board like this but I figured I would give it a try. I'm 5 weeks today, and just found out on the 7th that I was pregnant.
Only my husband and I know so far and I'm terrified of telling anyone. Is that weird? I don't know why I just am scared I guess of being the center of attention.
We are both 28, and this will be our first child. It's also going to be the first grandchild on both sides.
My first appointment is April 4th. I'm just scared, nervous, and all the overwhelming things......looking for some friends
