Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: The pituitary gland at the base of the brain has started producing hormones...WHOA! / also baby is a lime...which is what I thought last week was.
Upcoming Appointments: Tomorrow, NT US!
How are you feeling?: Great!! Feeling a little less tired.
Rants/Raves: Spent the day at the zoo and it was really amazing to see how much more interested in all the animals DS was. He favorite part of the zoo still was looking at all the busses. That kid is OBSESSED with busses!!
Questions: Nah!
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Sydney, Australia!! Had a fantastic time there and can’t wait to visit down under again!! 🐨🦘
OMG @lillywonderland what is it about buses!?!?! Bus tangent in spoiler:
DS is obsessed as well, so much that daycare even commented on it. Every morning we have to go to the window to watch the school buses go by (there is a school up the street from us, so we get to see A LOT of buses.) At night when he's getting sleepy and having milk, he will say all of his favorite words; "Dada, Mama, fff-fff (dog), choo-choo, bus." Every.single.night. I wish I got as excited about anything like my kid gets excited about buses.
@lillywonderland EEKK excited for your NT scan. Keep us updated!!

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: Baby looks like an alien today!
Upcoming Appointments: Wednesday for NT Scan
How are you feeling?: Nervous for Wednesday. This is when we got our first red flag in my first pregnancy. I'm making myself sick over the appointment, but ultimately I know I have no control. I'm just trying to breathe through the days until its scan time.
Rants/Raves: Starting to feel better and get some energy back! Rant... But then I'll wake up the next day and be back to square 1...
Questions:
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Hawaii
@lillywonderland I am
so looking forward to going to the zoo all the time with my LO. That’s
hilarious that he liked the busses the most lol. Good luck at you NT scan.
@nomangos23 I’m sorry
your upcoming NT scan is bringing up such hard emotions. I’ll be thinking of
you this week.

Upcoming Appointments:
Still trying to get my NT scan scheduled…
How are you feeling?: I felt great this
weekend. No nausea and had plenty of energy. Too bad we had a huge snow storm
and I was trapped inside the house.
Rants/Raves: I’m getting anxiety
every time I have to talk to my OB. I think it comes from knowing I can be
somewhat of a hypochondriac and not wanting doctors to think I’m crazy lol. I
sent a message to my OB last Monday to get the NT scan and NIPT BW ordered. I
didn’t hear anything back from her until Friday and now she is out of town for
2 weeks. In that message she said since we decided to go with the more advanced
NIPT BW (harmony, they had a couple different options to choose from) we don’t
need to do the NT scan. Um… no. I want the NT scan too. I immediately messaged
he back requesting that we still get it, since I already know insurance covers
it. But of course I haven’t heard anything back. I’m so frustrated and it’s
giving me anxiety which gives me a headache which turns into a migraine. Ugh.
Questions: Anyone else have to
get up to pee a million times at night?
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? The South Pole. In my physics undergrad I
researched particle astrophysics. I was part of a couple different research groups
that had experiments going on in Antarctica. I got to spend a month there, 2 weeks
at McMurdo, 1.5 week at the South Pole. One of the craziest most exciting
experiences of my life. The journey just to get to Antarctica was also amazing.
Got to spend some time in Sydney and New Zealand.

@lillywonderland that's so cute that YS showed interest at the zoo. I can't wait to my future LO to zoos and national parks. Australia does seem like a cool place, but I refuse to go based on all of the terrifying bugs they have. @nomangos23 going through those previously sad milestones can be so tough. Thinking about you and hope all goes well on Wednesday. On a more lighthearted note, when DOESN'T baby look like an alien?! I recently saw an U/S image on reddit that looked absolutely terrifying. @LJMoon6 I'm sorry you're having a tough time with your OB. Just keep advocating for yourself; you're doing great! That is so cool that you got to conduct research in Antarctica!! @monkeysmom80 blech, UTIs are so annoying

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: baby is about the size of a macaron
Upcoming Appointments: not until April 8th. I had an US last week and did the Harmony NIPT.
How are you feeling?: the nausea and vomiting are finally dissipating, but they've been replaced with AWFUL constipation.
Rants/Raves: I'm so excited about the extra hour of daylight!!!
Questions: any suggestions for/experience with severe constipation? I've been taking 200mg of Colace daily for the last 5 days and take fiber gummies as well. TMI warning, but I haven't had a proper BM in at least 10 days. Is it safe to do an at home enema or use a suppository? I need to goooooooo!!!!
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? I spent a month outside of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, volunteering for a nonprofit organization that provides homes and a family atmosphere to orphan children. There are several houses with full time "mothers" and 10-15 kids in a house. Everything is funded through donations and the children have (typically) American sponsors who give money to help pay for school. Funds are also set aside for the children so that they have bank accounts when they are of age. I'd absolutely love to go back one day, but H doesn't want to fly that far.
@themadcamel Prunes!! Not fresh prunes, not prune juice, but dried prunes. Buy yourself a bag of dried prunes, eat a couple handfuls of them. You'll be good. If not, eat some more lol. It might make you super gassy but at least you wont be constipated any more.

@lillywonderland Ah! Good luck tomorrow at your NT. Everything crossed for great news.
@nomangos23 I will be thinking of you so much and praying for a good scan. I know how nervous you must be. Remember that you deserve good things. Also, I'm glad you are starting to feel better. Hopefully today is just a fluke!
@LJMoon6 I totally get not wanting to sound crazy. I am always so nervous to call just in case it is nothing. You are paying them, so don't worry about bugging them. Even if your OB is out of town, someone else should be able to order your NT.
@monkeysmom80 Sorry about the UTI. They are the worst!
@themadcamel I'm glad you are feeling a little bit better! I have no idea on the enema, but I'll be following the conversation. I am in the same boat. I am in so much discomfort and pain. Also, that is so neat you volunteered Ethiopia. I've read a couple books about women there and the struggles they go through. I bet that was very rewarding, but also very humbling.

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: A plum?
Upcoming Appointments: March 22nd
How are you feeling?: Great. I feel so much better than I did a few weeks ago.
Rants/Raves: Ugh. Rant #1: So I had get a new OB because the insurance at my new job doesn't cover my old OB. Well basically everyone is completely booked. So I can't get in for a 12 week appointment until I'm actually 14 weeks. So I definitely won't be doing the NIPT or NT. I'm pretty upset. I spent seriously hours last week trying to find someone to get me in. The only person available is pretty far away too. So that means I haven't had an appointment since I was 7 weeks.
Rant #2: So I knew daycare in my area would be competitive, but I had no idea how much so. I started looking last week. My top places are already at capacity and won't even let you on the wait-list unless your due date is after November 1st. I am so frustrated. I felt like looking before 11 weeks would be weird and too soon, but I was so wrong.
Questions:
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Norway! It was seriously amazing. I crave going back.
@lilywonderland Good luck at your scan tomorrow! Glad you

@nomangos23 Good luck at your scan this week too! Try to
have confidence everything is going as it should, I know easier said than done.
@ljmoon6 Sorry about your OB. Will calling the office and

@monkeysmom80 Good luck at your scan tomorrow! Hope you don’t
have a uti – lots of cranberry juice now right?
@themadcamel I am on the constipation wagon with you. I’ll
have to try the prunes. I will go almost every day but it is almost nothing and

Questions: NOPE NOT TODAY
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? ARUBA
@themadcamel OMG 10 days?!?! That sounds absolutely miserable! I second @LJMoon6 on the prunes. And as much water as you can choke down. (And prayer, because sometimes it feels like that's the only thing that's gonna help because pregnancy just effs with your body sometimes.) I really do hope you get some relief soon!!
@RedBreast35 IDK, man! His bus obsession started after we went to Zion NP (or so we think). We took the shuttle bus quite a few times when we were there (and he wasn’t freaking out about it), and we noticed after we got home that he started pointing out EVERY SINGLE BUS that he saw. Kid’s also obsessed with trains. Everything with wheels is a Choo-Choo (except busses of course).
@nomangos23 I will be thinking all the good thoughts for you this week, friend. ❤️ I’m hoping your NT US is very boring.
@LJMoon6 I’m sorry you’re having a crappy time scheduling the NT US - we also had some issues. Why the eff is it so hard to schedule?!?!? The little time clock on the window for the NT stuff prolly doesn’t help either. Last night wasn’t the first time I had to pee soooooooo bad in then MOTN. I feel like the peeing stage is here, LOL! (Also, I knew you were going to say Antarctica! 😉 But I didn’t know you were there for a month!! Side note: did you get good data from your trip? Or was it kinda mehhh? Not that it matters...it would be cool if you got awesome data from that trip!!)
@themadcamel I’m happy to report we didn’t see ANY of the terrifying bugs/animals in the “wild” when we were in Australia. We saw them all at the zoo though!! So for constipation...try taking a stool softener (or is that what colace is?), maybe some citrucel/Metamucil, and lots and lots of fiberous foods (fruits are a great source!!).
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: A large strawberry. These fruit analogies need help.
Upcoming Appointments: 12 wk appt w/ the midwife Thursday and NT + NIPT blood draw + U/S on Friday!
How are you feeling?: Good! Finally! Still a little nauseated after I eat (or while eating), but nothing to complain about!
Rants/Raves: Did our big announcement to H's family on Saturday. DS was wearing a shirt that said "I'm so cute Mommy and Daddy did it again!" on the front and "Big Brother Effective September 2019" on the back. MIL is the first to the area we're in after DS wakes up and I've put the shirt on him. She doesn't read it forever. Then she does and just stares disapprovingly at it. Then other people catch on and are giving us hugs and congratulating us and telling us how excited they are. Then H is like, "Mom, read DS's shirt." And she goes. I did. Where did you get that? It's cute. And everyone is just staring at her. Then she goes. "I mean, the front isn't exactly accurate. And the back has a typo - is it a hand-me-down from one of your friends?" And everyone stares at her. Then she goes, wait, are you trying to tell me something? ...........ummmm yes. Yes we are. Then she goes, oh well the date on the back is wrong. ?!?!?!? Um, excuse me? "Yeah, it should be Sept. 2017" (DS's birth month/year). ?!?!?!? I was like, umm, the baby is due Sept. 2019. The woman assumed I ordered a shirt that was wrong on two counts. WTH!?!?!? Everyone else got it before they even saw the back. I can't get over it. LOL. We're doing the same thing with my parents this weekend - I'm optimistic that they'll catch on faster. Haha.
Questions: Nothing.
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Salzburg, Austria on our honeymoon.
@lillywonderland It was actually a pretty boring trip research wise. Data is constantly being recorded down there and sent up so our trip was more for maintenance. We had to fix one of our detectors because it would only work when it was upside down lol. Turn out to be a loose wire. Then we had to take inventory of a building because it was being decommissioned and all our detectors were being moved to a new location. At the South Pole we brought a new detector down to test out. Then, since my university was taking over part of this project, I took precise measurements of our other detectors so that we could run simulations on them (it's actually what I did for my senior seminar project). I did get to be part of an artist's and writers project that recreated old photographs from the south pole. I set up the old Amundsen/Scott tent, took some pictures, and then interviewed a bunch of people that were currently stationed there. That was pretty cool.

@mamaber2204 Haha that is too funny. She sounds very... fun? practical? I feel like that is something my mom would do. And good luck telling your family! I'm sure that will be much more fun.
@themadcamel you could look into whole psyllium husks soluble fiber (we found it at Trader Joe's) - postpartum I had a lot of problems and the OBs suggested a number of things but this was the only thing that worked. My OB suggested mixing it into some kind of citrus juice to make the texture just seem like pulp and I always ended up splashing in a little sprite to aid drinking it quickly without difficulty (you have to drink it pretty fast or it turns to sludge). I think it suggests starting at a certain dose and working up? I took colace pretty much all pregnancy with DS and muddled along, but postpartum it was worthless. I'm sorry you're struggling with this, it's so miserable!
@nomangos23 thinking of you this week, and hoping your scan goes well and is uneventful.
@monkeysmom80 so sorry about the UTI, hope it's of short duration!
@LJMoon6 ugh that sucks you're having those issues with your OB, hope they get you scheduled, that's nerve wracking!
@kgg2241 that sucks so much they can't schedule you sooner. This probably isn't helpful since it may just be my provider and you've probably already asked, but when I was scheduling the NIPT they preferred to get it done before 14 weeks but (unlike the NT scan) I noticed the cut off for doing it was later than that (I can't remember how much later, I think 16 weeks?).
@mamaber2204 that's really funny, but oh wow! Hope you have a great time telling your family, the shirt is such a cute idea!

@kgg2241 Can your old OB at least write the perscription for you for the NT so you don't miss the window entirely? I'm sorry that sounds so stressful
@mamaber2204 that is too funny regarding your MIL. My mom had a funny reaction when we told her in a sneaky way too (we told her through scratch off lottery tickets that when you scratched the prize, it said "we're having a baby!" She repeated "We're having a baby???? We're having a baby???" like 5 times really confused because she was so excited to have actually won on a scratch off that she didn't understand that it was our reveal. MOMS!
@supermom34482 I hope you don't catch what your kids have!

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: Matchbox car!
Upcoming Appointments: Nothing until the first week of April for my 16 week appointment. I am currently awaiting a phone call with my NT blood test results. We had the scan & blood work last Monday, they said it could take 7-10 days, today is day 7!!!
How are you feeling?: I actually feel fine except for the headaches, I know I need to up my water intake. I'm also just still really tired. Daylight savings time isn't helping the situation for me, or my "not a morning person" toddler.
Rants/Raves: I own & operate a photography business in addition to my full time career. Yesterday I had a newborn shoot of the most adorable chunk of a baby girl, she was born 9 pounds, 10 oz and 21 inches. She was so adorable it was awesome to get to be all snuggly with a newborn knowing I'll have my own in 6 months! Conversely I underestimated how much MORE sore I would be after the session being pregnant, than not... man I am struggling.
Questions:
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Maldives! We went for our honeymoon & it was divine!
@LJMoon6@RedBreast35 thanks, I will be stopping by the store to get some today! FX that they work. I will most definitely be turning to prayer if I don't get some relief quickly .
@kgg2241 oh boy, I'm so sorry you have to go so long until your next appt. Is there any office where you could at least get the NIPT done in the meantime? It's just a blood draw, so maybe someone could squeeze you in. And that daycare situation sounds insane! Now you've got me worried that I should be hitting the pavement and finding a place.
@supermom34482 hope we can both find some relief soon! I'm starting to lose my mind haha.
@lillywonderland oh ok, I'm glad you didn't have any surprise animal/insect encounters! I guess if you stay out of the outback, you're somewhat safe? I still can't wrap my mind around the variety of horrifying spiders they have over there... Yep, Colace is a stool softener. Definitely trying to eat more fruit. The severe MS had me on a diet of crackers and bread, so I'm sure that didn't help things along. I've got to get back on track!
@mamaber2204 omg your MIL's reaction is too funny! Reminds me of DH. I told him by putting a bandana on our dog that said big brother and it took him a long time to figure it out.
@ternsetc thanks, I'll give it a shot! Sorry to hear that you've got a cold. Hope you feel better soon.
@kgg2241 That's nuts! Do you list in a small town? I can't imagine a place that can't work a pregnant woman in for the 12 week scan! I'm sorry you're dealing with this. But 14 weeks is better than 16 weeks which is when your old OB could see you again.. so... little silver lining?
@LJMoon6 I agree, the scan is really really important. I'm glad you are advocating for yourself and what you want. I was shocked to hear that OB are telling patients that the blood work is enough but its the coupling of the two that matters most. Also... I pee all night too
@monkeysmom80 Oh no! I hope your doc can get your UTI cleared up for you! Cranberry juice (or pills) can help!
@themadcamel Did your doc check your thyroid at the beginning of your pregnancy? I had AWFUL constipation and figured out it was because my pregnancy threw my thyroid out of wack and have been SO much better since. Agree with LJmoon's reco on the prunes but I coupled them with actual plums and got a much better result when I took two. Are you doing fiber too?
@supermom34482 Girl yes, stay as far away from puking babies as possible. Momma needs to keep all her nutrients down. It should be illegal for pregnant women to get sick...
@mamaber2204 lol @ your MIL.. There's always one in the bunch
@MsBeachNJ Good luck on your results this week. I just loooooooooove newborn photography but I've seen a few "behind the scenes" clips which make me grateful that I'm not a newborn photographer. But I'm sure the moments your arent being pooped on are magical
@themadcamel colace is good as a stool softener but you also need something to give you the "push". i would suggest adding senna or trying miralax. i'd try that before i was willing to do an enema but 10 days is kind of a lot. also drink lots of water. constipation is the worse! hope that helps.
@nomangos23 Bahahaha, omg. I'm laughing hysterically at myself for calling plums "fresh prunes." Twice. Of course I knew that but... can I blame this on pregnancy brain!? lol

@MsBeachNJ That is a good idea. I hadn't thought of that. I'll call my old OB and see if she can at least send a request.
@themadcamel I"m going to call again today. I don't think the secretary is understanding me, so I am going to see if I can get through to a nurse.
@nomangos23 Haha good point! That is definitely a silver lining. I think I just need to be pushier though. I think I take what they say at face value and don't push it at all. I guess I just feel like I don't know when to push and when to not. But for real, they should be able to get me in for a blood draw. It isn't like the OB is doing it herself.
@kgg2241 My OB can't see me till middle of my 13th week. She said she would make sure the orders for my NT scan and NIPT BW gets put in before she even sees me, because like you said she doesn't need to be there for them. The problem I'm running in to is just getting her to place the orders in the first place. I think if you call and talk to the nurse she should definitely be able to push that through for you.

@LJMoon6 that is so cool about your research trip! A friend of mine just spent about a month at McMurdo and she said it was such a cool experience!
@themadcamel OMG I hope you get to poop soon!! That sounds horrible.
@kgg2241 I am so sorry for the stress of daycare and finding an OB! Not being able to NIPT or NT would really upset me too. Super jealous you've been to Norway though! That is one place H and I would love to go!!

Still puke every morning, so I am ready to be done with that too. My cold is starting to go away though, so there's that!
Rants/Raves: My rave is for Augmentin! DS is FINALLY starting to feel better thanks to that! Poor kid had a sinus infection, ear infection, HFM and strep. He was so miserable all last week (which is why I was pretty MIA). I am hoping to put the sickness behind us!!

@LJMoon6 Your research trip sounds incredible! Are you still in physics or a research field?
@mamaber2204 That reaction is hilarious! I hope your family's reveal goes well!
We told both sets of parents this past weekend. We have a running joke with my mom about pumpkins and pregnancy announcements (long story short, one time my husband made a comment that was misconstrued as an announcement) so I gave her an infant's beanie shaped like a pumpkin with a notecard saying our pumpkin was coming in the Fall. She instantly started crying, said "REALLY??" and then wanted to know what she would be called. Totally worth the flight to do it in person. My in laws also were super excited, which was sweet until my MIL touched my stomach... so I guess that's my first "don't touch my belly" moment of the pregnancy (no, I didn't say it, but I felt it hardcore haha).

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: Macaron
Upcoming Appointments: Thursday for my first US and sequential screen
How are you feeling?: Not the best, but better than recent weeks. I've been able to sleep until closer to 6am lately instead of 3am to pee, which helps with the exhaustion... Daylight Savings does not...
Rants/Raves: I'm so nervous about this week's appointment that I almost didn't tell our parents during our visit because of it, but I'm relieved I did. Only a few days to go...
Questions: Has anyone else done the sequential screen? I'm curious how soon you got results.
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Germany and the Czech Republic on a trip with family. Got to have my grandfather show us where he grew up, it was incredible.
@calliah I think I'm feeling movement, too! Third-time mom, so I'm not totally surprised, but I had anterior placentas with my older two, so I didn't feel anything until like 24+ weeks.
Est Due Date/ Weeks + Days: 13w4d (due 9.13)
FTM/STM/STM+: third!
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: matchbox car
Upcoming Appointments: Just a regular/boring appointment on 3/27
How are you feeling?: Tired, cranky, overly emotional. Nausea even reared its ugly head again recently.
Rants/Raves: I'm a huge craft beer drinker...it's kind of my thing. I'm fine with not drinking for 9 months, but does DH really have to drag me to breweries so I can watch him taste amazing beer??
Questions: none
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Greece and Montenegro! My mom and I went in 2017 for our 35th and 65th birthday trip. I'm already planning French Polynesia for 40/70!
@nomangos23 hmm, interesting to know about the thyroid. My OB did not check it, but I'll definitely bring it up if I continue to have issues. I've been taking fiber gummies 2x a day, but it seems they just make me super gassy. Oh the joys of being pregnant and a FTM haha.
@dahliasanddogs I'm ready to try anything at this point! I think I'll try miralax tonight since it's on the approved list of meds my ob gave me. Thank you!
@LJMoon6 dude at least you can use pregnancy brain as an excuse. I did not know that prunes were dried plums until I read your and @nomangos23 's comments !
@kgg2241 did you get in touch with a nurse today? Thinking about you and hoping you can get that testing done.
@nightdreamr13 my 12 week ultrasound appt was 2 hours as well. I think the office just scheduled it that way because there are two separate appointments (1 with the US tech, 1 with my ob). There was also a bit of a line at the lab to get my blood drawn. The blood draw itself was super quick and the US was probably 20 minutes.
@calliah I feel a kind of fluttery sensation now and then, but I'm pretty sure it's just my digestive system. I'm also excited to feel the first movements! I'm kind of freaked out about it as I have no idea what to expect.
@zuuls_mom lol thanks, me too!! Sorry you're still dealing with MS, it's such a drag!!
@kmitchy that's awesome that you got to travel with your grandfather to his hometown. My grandpa came with us once on a trip back to Italy and it was so meaningful to see the country through his eyes and experiences.
@jaykay2004 oh no! I'm sorry YH is taking you along to breweries! We're big fans of craft beer too, and I think I'd lose my shit if DH insisted we go to a brewery.
So @MsBeachNJ was right. My old OB sent the NIPT request in for me. She won't do the NT without the results of the NIPT warranting it, and my new OB won't request it until she has seen me though. So relatively good news over here. I think I got myself worked up for probably no reason lol.
Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: baby can fit on a post it note
Upcoming Appointments: next Thursday
How are you feeling?: random nausea still but not as bad as it was a few weeks ago
Rants/Raves: we are in the process of selling our house, and buying another... just stressed rants on my mind lol. Can’t wait to be settled into our new home! Oh andddd my back is killing me. It did not hurt this early with my first. How can something the size of a lemon be straining my back already?!
Questions: debating on getting the pram for our city select lux stroller. Does anyone have the pram for theirs or one in general for their stroller?
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Hmm I think the Bahamas is the furthest I’ve gone.
Going to come back later on my laptop to respond to others. I find the app so not user friendly to respond to people. It’s hard to scroll up and back down etc. anyone else find it annoying?
@themadcamel I had the same symptoms with my first pregnancy. It was so bad. Did you OB suggest the fiber gummies? Mine told me not to take in extra fiber because the problem wasn’t building up fiber because there’s plenty of stuff in there that’s built up it you know what I mean haha but rather just the sensation to move the bowels. A trick that’s helped me was a super creamy coffee. I’d get a decaf coffee with extra cream. It would go right through me lol. I feel for you. It’s the worst 😭 hopefully you get some relief soon!
@lillywonderland so jealous that you’ve been to Australia! That’s on my bucket list! I bet it was amazing.
@MsBeachNJ I'm not totally sure. I just need to run by their office on my way home today to fill out the paper work. I'm assuming tomorrow or Thursday though.
@septoctkids I wouldn't worry too much about responding to every single person. I use the app too and usually just respond to posts when I have something to contribute.
@kgg2241 I didn’t mean respond to every single person. I just like to reply to a few people when I can relate to something, and it’s not as easy to do on the app.

Hawaii
@lillywonderland I am so looking forward to going to the zoo all the time with my LO. That’s hilarious that he liked the busses the most lol. Good luck at you NT scan.

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: hot wheels car
Upcoming Appointments: Still trying to get my NT scan scheduled…
How are you feeling?: I felt great this weekend. No nausea and had plenty of energy. Too bad we had a huge snow storm and I was trapped inside the house.
Rants/Raves: I’m getting anxiety every time I have to talk to my OB. I think it comes from knowing I can be somewhat of a hypochondriac and not wanting doctors to think I’m crazy lol. I sent a message to my OB last Monday to get the NT scan and NIPT BW ordered. I didn’t hear anything back from her until Friday and now she is out of town for 2 weeks. In that message she said since we decided to go with the more advanced NIPT BW (harmony, they had a couple different options to choose from) we don’t need to do the NT scan. Um… no. I want the NT scan too. I immediately messaged he back requesting that we still get it, since I already know insurance covers it. But of course I haven’t heard anything back. I’m so frustrated and it’s giving me anxiety which gives me a headache which turns into a migraine. Ugh.
Questions: Anyone else have to get up to pee a million times at night?
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? The South Pole. In my physics undergrad I researched particle astrophysics. I was part of a couple different research groups that had experiments going on in Antarctica. I got to spend a month there, 2 weeks at McMurdo, 1.5 week at the South Pole. One of the craziest most exciting experiences of my life. The journey just to get to Antarctica was also amazing. Got to spend some time in Sydney and New Zealand.

FTM/STM/STM+: FTM
Glad you have some energy back
@nomangos23 Good luck at your scan this week too! Try to have confidence everything is going as it should, I know easier said than done.
@ljmoon6 Sorry about your OB. Will calling the office and emailing be good to maybe get in?
@monkeysmom80 Good luck at your scan tomorrow! Hope you don’t have a uti – lots of cranberry juice now right?
@themadcamel I am on the constipation wagon with you. I’ll have to try the prunes. I will go almost every day but it is almost nothing and I know I probably have 5lbs of crap in me – Sorry if that was TMI but we all know how each other is feeling right?

@monkeysmom80 I hope your UTI goes away quickly!!

How are you feeling?: Good! Finally!
Haha.

MOMS!

@nomangos23 I'm so sorry you're feeling sick from the anxiety. I hope the appt goes really well and I can't wait to hear all about it!
@mamaber2204 OMG your MIL. I am dying

Interesting Baby Fact / Baby is size of ...: Lemon/Matchbox Car
Upcoming Appointments: Not until the 4th, but I think I am going to try to get in next week. I'd like to get my AS scheduled soon too so I can get it done when I am 19w. I'm doing mommy and me photos with DS on April 20th and the photographer is going to throw in a pregnancy announcement photo I can use. I don't want to announce until after my AS.
How are you feeling?: Still sick most of the day. Nausea never really goes away even after I eat. I legit thought I was going to puke on myself while driving this morning, but thankfully it passed.
Questions: Nope.
GTKY: (Stolen from TTGP) What is the farthest away from home you’ve ever been? Maui for our honeymoon!
Married 8/16/13

BFP# 2 MMC dx @ 13w 10/30/18
BFP# 3 Preemie DD born at 38w (IUGR) on 8/28/19 weighing 5.5lbs. Our little miracle

@lillywonderland so jealous that you’ve been to Australia! That’s on my bucket list! I bet it was amazing.
@septoctkids I wouldn't worry too much about responding to every single person. I use the app too and usually just respond to posts when I have something to contribute.
