@PleaseSendPicklesNow I’m a PA. I had to just look up more info on CHARGE syndrome. I’m a new grad so just skimming the surface of the wide world of medicine. But from what research I did on HLHS, it has definitely become a more treatable condition since its discovery. Although, without transplant, still only carries a survival into the mid 30s.
Hi everyone! I’m in my first pregnancy at 7 weeks 5 days so I’m due sometime around Oct. 11. I live in Phoenix,AZ and am both nervous and excited for this adventure.
After 13 months of trying for our third, deciding it wasn’t going to happen and starting the process for foster/adoption (in the middle of classes and home study), I got a surprise BFP on Monday. I had stopped charting but I believe I am 5 weeks, 4 days with an EDD of October 25th.
DH and I have been married for 12 years and we have DS1 age 8 and DS2 age 5.
I am a pediatric dentist and run a residency program (feel free to ask any dental questions!). This is my 3rd time on the Bump and I have great friends both IRL and on here/FB from my previous pregnancies.
Hi Everyone! I’m Olivia. I’m a dog mom and a cat mom, I have 2 toddlers, and I’m a soon to be TTM due October 23 maybe? I don’t have my first appointment for another few weeks. Excited to share this journey with everyone!
Hi! I'm due Oct 4th. Super surprised and super excited. This will be my 4th child. I'm 40 and my three kids are 20,18 and 15. I'm divorced and in a new relationship. This will be his first.
Hi y'all! I'm so happy my waiting period is over!! I'm a ftm with an EDD of October 2nd. My fiance and I are so excited, but he's a lot more excited than me because he's not sick all day haha. I believe that I conceived one week after stopping BC so I was initially a little in shock and nervous, but am feel much better as I enter month 3. Nice to meet y'all!!
Hi everyone! I'm Jen. My husband and I found out were expecting ~ 2.5 weeks ago! First appointment isn't for another 3 weeks 😱 this is our first pregnancy, and I'm really hoping for some relief when we go for our first visit on March 20! EDD is October 24!
Hi all! Very nervous to intro. Just found out on Monday, EDD 10/26. This is my 3rd pregnancy - DS born O13 (loved my BMB), MC Sept18, and now this. I had betas Monday and Wednesday this week. Monday was 3300 at 5+2 and Wednesday was 6700. I'm going back tomorrow just for my own sanity and then viability scan 3/8.
Background on me - son is with my ex, I have him 50% of the time. Have a 12 yo SS and 10 yo SD with a very high conflict mother, so this news (should we get that far!) will stir the pot. Married DH in June of '18. Got a toy poodle puppy after the MC, he's insane, he's about 6 months now. We tried with OPKs, etc. for the remainder of 2018 and nothing, so I decided after LMP on 1/19 I was done trying for a month or two and baaaam. Praying for a sticky babe. Hoping to be with you all through October!
Hi! So I'm not good at the acronyms, so I can't promise I'll always use them.
Based on my ovulation date, my due date is October 27th, and while I love Halloween, I'm kind of hoping baby decides to not be a Halloween baby!
This is my second pregnancy - my first ended just past 7 weeks on December 15 last year - and we're so excited! My first appointment is March 11 and I'm anxious to get good news.
My husband has been wonderful, my dog has become more protective, and we're all excited to grow our family!
I'm Chelsea. My husband and I expecting our first. I'm 7 weeks today! We live in California with two cats. I'm a teacher at a school with a lot of young teachers, ataleast 4-5 are also pregnant but I can't tell them about me because it's too early.
It's nice to be able to share with other people since so early in our pregnancy.
Our first OB appointment is next Friday! Can't wait!
First, congrats to everyone! And hi! I'm 35, a FTM, living in Mesa AZ, and this is my first pregnancy. DH and I found out two weeks ago and I've been sitting on pins and needles waiting for our first appointment on the 22nd! 😫
EDD is October 27 - we were actually planning A HUGE trip to France just before then for my SIL's wedding, so that's out the window! 😂 My mom, sister, and in-laws were joining us, so it's been fun trying to avoid talking about the trip without spilling the beans. I was hoping to wait until the 2nd trimester before announcing, but that doesn't seem practical with everyone excited about the trip and making plans! If anything was going to put a stop to this trip, I'm so happy that it's the arrival of our first child. ☺️ I'm eager to see how we all progress in this new chapter!
Hi everyone! I’m Jess - 34 and a FTM. I’m currently 5w3d and due sometime around October 31st. My husband and I just decided to start trying in January so to say this has shocked us would be a understatement. We are so excited to be parents and meet our little one this fall.
Hi all! My EDD is October 24, my husband’s birthday! We’ve been married since October 2016 and live in Florida with our dog Stanley.
We’ve been TTC since July. I had a MC in August. Got the positive test on February 12. I had some bleeding and cramping earlier this week similar to when I had my MC last year, so I went to the doctor and they did bloodwork. Got a call the next day that my HCG level was high and they wanted me to come in for an ultrasound. Thankfully the ultrasound showed that the baby is in the right place and looks healthy. We saw the heartbeat, which made me super emotional. I’m so excited for this journey!
Hello y'all! I am an expecting FTM with EDD of October 24th!!! It all seems so surreal still. Look forward to sharing this exciting journey with you all.
Hey there! Third time around for me - DS born May 2016 and DD born Dec. 2017. EDD this time is Oct. 16th. Anxiously awaiting my first US this coming Monday. Love seeing all the FTM posts...reading everyone's excitement is calming my thoughts of, "what the heck were you thinking...3 kids 3 years old and under?!?!" I didn't participate much on TB with my first two, but feeling a need for some 'community' this time around!!
Super excited to be pregnant with our first, after two rounds of IVF/Embryo Transfer. I was an older bride and will be an older Mom but just so happy (hubby is over the moon). Its been a busy 2 years, bought a house last June, married in Sept, (did first try IVF in August, failed, hard right before our wedding), finishing a 2nd Masters Degree this May. I am due at the end of Oct., this is my Week 6, going for ultrasound next Monday so fingers crossed. We haven't told anyone, (2 very close friends) going to wait until the end of 1st Trimester. I am a lawyer, we have one dog, a beagle/bulldog mix who my husband swears knows I am pregnant because how he follows me around lately (but he did that before so I am not convinced). Since we had the embryo transfer the RE told me to lay off exercising (I am a runner, 18 half marathons in past 6 years) so I have done very little. But missing it. I was going to wait another couple of days because I have a cold but was going to start going again - I have read in different places it's actually good for you and the baby as long as you don't over extend yourself. Anyone else get similar or different advice?
Hi there! I've been lurking for while, but my PGAL brain made me reluctant to jump in. We've just had our 2nd viability scan and the little gummy bear is right on track with a strong heartbeat. I am so relieved and it is actually starting to feel real now! It's been a bit of a journey to get here (history in spoiler). Most recently I was seeing an RE and after 3 failed medicated cycles with TI we were about to move on to IUI. We couldn't start right away due a work trip that fell right around my fertile window, but to our surprise we got pregnant on our own that cycle! I am taking progesterone and low-dose aspirin and hope that will make a difference in helping us bring home our rainbow baby.
My husband and I have a 2 (almost 3) year old son and live in the Pacific Northwest. EDD is 10/13. Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hi! I just discovered this part of The Bump! My EDD is Oct 9, I live with my SO and 2 cats, and all I want to do is sleep, haha. I'm glad there's this community.
Hi everyone! EDD of 10/22. We have one little girl at home already just over 2 years old. This is our 4th pregnancy as we have had 2 miscarriages. Praying everything goes smooth this time! Excited but also trying to shield my heart just in case.
Hi! I’m 26 and my EDD is October 23rd! I have a husband and two sweet dogs just waiting for their new little playmate! I’m so excited to finally be able to reach out and have other moms to support each other through these nine months!
Hi, I'm from California this will be my second pregnancy. I have a 14 month old already. My Edd is October 24th. So far I haven't had any morning sickness (let me knock on wood lol) My husband and I have been together for 13 years married for 3 and are very excited for Baby #2!
Hi, I'm from Ohio. We found out on DH's birthday that I'm pregnant with our 3rd. DS1 is an Apr14 baby and DS2 is a Dec15 baby. I think my EDD is around Oct 26. My first appointment is this Wednesday.
Right now, I'm nauseous pretty much all the time. I feel like I wasn't nauseous all the time this early the last two times. Every pregnancy is different 🤷
I’m M and an elementary school teacher. We have a DS (April ‘14) and a DD (Feb ‘16). EDD said October 6, but it may be a couple days before that because I’ll be a RCS.
**TW: loss** We lost our son at 20 weeks in June due to a cord accident so I’m having some issues getting attached to this pregnancy. However, Doppler picked up a heartbeat on Wednesday!
my name is Lisa and I am 44 years old. I have 5 children ranging in ages from 22 yrs old to 2 yrs old. 3 boys and 2 girls. I also have a son named Brody that I lost due to a cystic hydroma and trisomy 18. I am a practice finance administrator for a medical facility and I work remotely. My husband is a software engineer.
I did add a small intro on the regular board too. I was a member of the bump heavily in 2014 and was the mod for our bump board. I love the snark and am curious how the bump may have changed over the years.
We are cautious with this pregnany. I had a few miscarriages last year and ectopic. I have another US Thursday so hopefully baby bean has grown and we will hear/see heartbeat
Hi I'm Cassie. I'm 31 and a teacher. My EDD is 10-16.
This will be our first.
We're very excited but also nervous.
We had 2 unexplained loses in July & Oct 2017.
We concieved fairly easy both times but then had conception issues in 2018, even with some tracking habits in place.
We did some preliminary infertility workups Nov 2018. We really hunkered down tracking staying then too. So we were surprised to get pregnant. (I know we were trying but) Just hoping for the best and praying a lot.

We did some preliminary infertility workups in Nov 2018 that came back great. We really hunkered down tracking starting then too. So we were surprised to get pregnant. (I know we were trying but) Just hoping for the best and praying a lot. We've had a reassuring ultrasound and heartbeat. Next milestone is 10 weeks on 3-20. On pelvix rest until then.
Hi everyone!!! My EDD is October 26th. This is my third baby! I have two boys, 2.5yrs old and 14 months. I have an awesome SO as well as two dogs and two cats!!!
Hi everyone! I'm Sandy, and I'm a first time mom of "Advanced Maternal Age" (I'm 38 and will turn 39 shortly before the baby is due at the end of October). I got married this past October, and my husband and I currently have a six-year-old foster daughter living with us (we are not planning to adopt - there is a pre-adoptive home for her with her older sister that we'll hopefully be transitioning her to within the next month or two). We were NOT planning to get pregnant this quickly, but given my age, I feel like I'm going to be grateful to not have to go through the process of actively trying to conceive once the shock wears off. Right now, it's still very overwhelming, though.
One really fun thing is that I found out I was pregnant a week before one of my closest friends also found out, so I'm excited to be going through this process with her.
I've told a few close friends, but that's it so far. I know a lot can happen, and just want to wait until the pregnancy is better established before facing everyone's excitement. It'll be overwhelming for me as it is. First ultrasound is scheduled for March 19th, so looking forward to hopefully verifying this is a viable pregnancy and starting the process of facing the reality of how our lives are going to change.
Hello Everyone! This is my first time ever using a forum of any kind! This is my 4th pregnancy but the first 3 ended in early MC. However- at our 8w3d ultrasound All was looking perfect and we’ve never gotten that far before. We are due 10/8!
Hello. I'm Cristina. I'm 31 and 7 weeks on my second baby. Due Oct 26th. This pregnancy has been completely different then my first. I've been very sick and my anxiety has been through the roof! Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy and I can't calm myself down. I keep waiting for different milestones like my 8 week ultrasound or of course the big 12 week mile marker. I feel like I've been through this before I should know what to expect. So I'm in need of some support besides my loving DH.
Hello! My name is Robin. I’m from Ohio (go Cavs!). I’m married to my high school sweetheart. We have a 2 1/2 year old son (any fellow June 2016 moms?). Im a registered nurse in pediatric cardiology. I’m also in grad school, so this should be interesting!! Haha I waited to post on this board as I was having some bleeding and was afraid to get too invested. I have had two ultrasounds and so far everything looks good, so I feel safer!! Congratulations to everyone! Can’t wait to get to know you ladies!
Hi everyone! Second pregnancy here with EDD of 10/21. With my first, I lurked boards like crazy but I figured I should come out of hiding this time and join the community me and my SO have a little boy and a mischievous dog. Look forward to chatting with everyone!!
Hi everyone! I am pregnant with #2, EDD October 16. I have an 18 mo old daughter, Libby, and we have two cats. My SO and I both work from home and take care of the kiddo. This is pregnancy #3 (miscarriage before having my daughter).
I have my own business as a freelance graphic designer, writer, and photographer. I plan to keep working and being at home after baby arrives but we might have to do some childcare for the older one

I have two daughters (4.5 and 2.5) and a big black lab.
I’m due 10/23, the exact same day I was due with my second, 3 years later!
I love to read, bake, and have movie nights with my family. I work full time for a fitness apparel company and love my job!
I’m looking forward to getting to know you all!
