We announced yesterday!! I’m not FB friends with anyone at one of the schools I work at, and I only told my assistant principal there so I need to just awkwardly spread the word. I should have friended a few before posting to save me the awkwardness of it all 😂
So excited to finally announce to the world. One will go on Facebook, the other will prob go on Instagram or just be texted beforehand to closer friends. Haven’t decided. We just found out it’s a boy yesterday.
@aevan011 are you doing a fox theme??? Where are you finding the fox clothes. We've been planning foxes since dd2 was born but o feel like foxes went out already and all i can find is dinosaurs and bears.
@EmilyA724 I'm too cheap to spend that on crib shoes. I found some fox crib shoes for about 10 on Amazon for the announcement (then my girls wouldn't hold the shoes!) But they had on fox big sisters shirts.
Not that we need more clothes in the tiny sizes cuz we had a lotmof neutral stuff from both my girls, but I just have to get a few special things.
@sourlemon target has some cute fox nursery items right now! We had done a great fox print for above the crib for DS so when I saw the bedding I had to get it even though we will move him out of the crib soon.
@sourlemon I think I saw some decorative fox-themed items at Hobby Lobby. They fairly frequently have 50 percent off decorative items, so if you hit that, it's a pretty good deal.
@sourlemon I wanted to do a fox theme last time but everything seemed either too boyish or too girlish, not neutral enough since we were Team Green last time. The navy blue was at Target when I had #1, the second one I found at a store over here in Germany. I'm probably not doing a new nursery, new baby will get all the neutral stuff, then we will focus on a theme for DS1. Wish I could help, looks like everyone else can. I'm kinda stuck in the land of online shopping (if they'll ship to APO) or German stores.
@sourlemon We are doing a fox theme! Target has SO MANY baby fox items right now. There are several fox clothes on Zulily right now. This one is Levert brand.
I also found a muslin fox car seat cover on Amazon (Hudson Baby), some items on Etsy, and someone gifted me a fox blanket from WalMart recently.
@EmilyA724 that is adorable!! I have two boys and seeing them love each other is the best thing ever, especially how much the little one looks up to the oldest. It is insanely beautiful and heartbreaking and lovely. You're gonna love having sisters!!
Thanks, everyone! I’m so excited! I had a slight preference for another girl, because I love the idea of sisters. I was surprised that I felt a little sad at the idea of never having a boy, but I know sisters is going to be so fun.
