@wintersong so awesome!! I’m in loco! I teach K so a little different than high school! Love meeting fellow teachers/moms... we can all enjoy the snow day tomorrow!!
Hi Everyone! I am due with baby #3 10/22/2019. DH and I have been married for almost 8 years. We have 2 little boys (6 & 3) and 2 maltipoos. I have PCOS and I had weight loss surgery last March. I am down 100 pounds, and this is my first pregnancy without any medication!
Hi my name is Michelle. We have 2 bio boys ages 5 and almost 3 (April). This past May we adopted a beautiful little girl from China who will be 5 in June. She has arthrogryposis and is in a wheelchair but is an absolute joy in our family! Things are crazy and chaotic and we just found out last week that I am pregnant. I guess I am the less than 1% that got pregnant on the pill. We are overwhelmed but know it will work out in the end. My due date is 10/22/19.
Hi! I'm Kelly and just got the official word from my doctor today! My EDD is October 21st. This will be me and my husband's first child. We just got married October 19th and bought a house at the end of November in KCMO. We currently have a cat that we call Baby Girl so it'll be funny if we have a girl bc I'm sure we will get confused! I am 33 and excited and nervous about the process! I've been wanting to tell eveyone the big news but will wait.
Hi all! I'm Rose, I'm 37 and pregnant with my second child. My son was born on 10/10/17, and I'm due with baby #2 on 10/10/2019 - what are the chances! My husband and I achieved pregnancy through IUI both times and we're excited to complete our family with baby #2!
Hello! I am 29 years old, my husband and I have been ttc for a year. We were starting to work through infertility- I had an HSG completed (WORST EXPERIENCE of my life, I fainted!) and was waiting for my cycle to start so I could start the Chlomid my OB prescribed. Well, on Valentine’s Day.. I took a test on a whim (hoping it would jumpstart my cycle) and I was pregnant! The pregnant line showed faster than the test line to show it worked! We are thrilled! I think the HSG May have unblocked some things
we arw ao wxcited to be on this journey! I have a lot of fears, because several friends lately had had troubled pregnancies, so we haven’t told anyone just yet. My first OB appointment is scheduled for Tuesday morning!
Hi, I’m Michelle. My hubby and I are expecting our first to arrive Oct. 19th. My first prenatal visit is in late March. Excited to be here! Can anyone tell me what all the abbreviations stand for?!
Hi everyone, My estimated due date is 11/1 based on my last cycle, but I know the baby could come in October as well. I have a 3 year old boy whose birthday is 2/7/16. I was pregnant with him the first month of trying. I have been trying with this one for 1 year and 7 months. I am very excited! DH and I are both music teachers and live in NY.
Hi all!! My EDD is October 1st! This will be our first baby! My SO is an amazing support, and we are both musicians and music school owners together, and we have two doggos, 10 and 8 years old, who are major joys in our life. ^_^ I just turned 30 last week!

This is my second pregnancy, I had a MC with my first at 6 weeks just in Nov 2018. So I’m A) very surprised I’m pregnant again so soon, super excited and also very anxious and cautious feeling.
Taking things a bit slower emotionally this time, and really hopeful that all the little cells perform their choreography on cue this time.
My husband and I are both musicians/music teachers too! So cool Praying for you!!
Hi all! Guess today is the day I will intro! *TW* loss mentioned, long winded I apologize in advance!
FTM here! I’ve been actively participating on the TTGP board since June 2015. It’s been a journey for us. DH and I have been married for almost 6 years and have been trying for quite some time to get pregnant (I’m 31, he’s 32). After not having success on our own we finally consulted with an RE. We did multiple medicated cycles with TI and IUIs, no luck. They recommended IVF and we switched to another clinic that was larger and had more experience. Did an IUI there which was unsuccessful then started the IVF process. As we were starting I found out I had severe cervical stenosis and had to have a surgery with a specialist to have it corrected. Did one round of IVF that only yielded one PGS blast, transfer was a CP. Did another ER round of IVF, got three PGS embryos, transfer was successful in June but wound up being a blighted ovum, had to have a d&c and then two months later found out there was still placental tissue left over and I had to have another d&c. Finally was able to prep for another transfer, cycle was cancelled cause my lining wasn’t responding to meds. Started meds for another transfer in December and it failed. I had 6 surgeries in a matter of 12 months. After our last transfer failed we were exhausted and decided to take a break. My doctor was talking about other options and I just needed a break from it all after two straight years of IF treatment. Honestly me and my husband were praying to get KU on our own. this month when I would’ve started spotting and didn’t yet, I took a test on a whim and it was positive. I was absolutely shocked. Emailed my nurse and she said she had to read my email over like ten times. Went in for bloodwork and have had great rising betas. Go for my first ultrasound this week. I’m so thankful and blessed that after all this time here we are pregnant naturally a month after taking a break. We have one PGS embryo on ice for baby #2. Excited to be here and to get to know everyone.
@beachbunnyxo123, WOW. You have been on a very tough journey. Sending lots of prayers for your rainbow baby. We are lucky to have you on October BMB with us! ❤
Hello! I am a FTM and my EDD is Oct 16th. My DH and I are very excited for our first appointment on March 5th. We live in Ohio with our sweet mini golden doodle.
@beachbunnyxo123 I recognize your name from around TB but idk that I’ve ever known your whole story, I’m sorry you’ve been through so much! But holy cow I’m so excited for you!! Sending all the good vibes for this to be the stickiest baby ever!
Hi everyone! My name is Amy, I'm 26 and my husband is 28. I'm originally from the UK but I emigrated to Texas November 2017 to tie the knot with my hubby. We we're originally waiting to start a family in August this year once we had found a house but life had different plans 😂. I'm currently 7 weeks and 4 days. I'm super nervous as this is my first pregnancy. I haven't announced it to anyone yet (waiting for first scan on the 8th March) and being in a country where I have no friends or family can be difficult at times so I'm hoping there's some ladies out there that can relate!
@beachbunnyxo123 I’m so excited for you! I didn’t know your whole story and to say that you and your DH have been through a lot is an understatement. So happy to have you here!!!

Hi ladies! 34yrs old, 6 failed IUI’s, 1 failed FET in December 2018, second FET Feb 4 worked! Currently 5 weeks 3 days due October 23rd and over the moon excited!
Hi all, im expecting my third October 31 (my moms birthday!) and just got my positive today. I have two little boys who will be 5 and 3 when the new baby arrives. Congrats everyone!
Hey everyone! I got my very first BFP on Tuesday after 3 years of trying, no words could express my shock and joy. I had given up all hope of conceiving naturally. My first appointment will be on March 6th, I'm so excited and can't wait. My EDD is October 25th.🥰 Congratulations to all!!
@mgclark I think you can find the abbreviations glossary in the read first thread! If all else fails Google the abbreviation and "on the bump" and you'll usually find it 😊
Hey! I’m a mom of a happy go lucky 2 year old with another one on the way! We just found out I’m due with baby #2 in October! I have two dogs and a cat. I am a teacher full time and I love to craft, bake, sing and read. I’m super excited to have my second child!
Hey guys! This is my first pregnancy and I am 5 weeks today. I will be 29 yo in a few weeks. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this June and I will be 5 months pregnant on our anniversary. We have two dogs and two cats. The pregnancy apps have my due date as 10/27/19 but my gyno gave me a due date of 10/28/19 (what's one day anyway?). I have not had my first OB appointment yet, but my gyno sent through the referral so hopefully I will be able to schedule an appointment soon. My best friend already knows- she texted me two days after I took the pregnancy tests (positive) and told me she had a dream two nights before that I was pregnant.... So I had to spill the beans. I have not told my parents yet, but since my birthday is coming up, I might tell them during that celebration. My husband and I are very excited! We are looking into selling our small condo so we can buy a house with more space, so there will be a lot of changed over the next 8 months!
Hello everyone! I’m 27, my boyfriend is 30, and baby was a surprise! But we’re absolutely thrilled. I’m 6 weeks today, and we decided to hold off on telling anyone until after our first ultrasound on March 8th. I’m impatiently waiting, and also a little nervous. Just want baby to be happy and healthy. I’m so excited to be able to talk about my pregnancy here. Such a hard secret to keep! Looking forward to the next 8ish months with you all!

Amazing stories like yours are exactly why I am doing what I am doing. I am so happy that you are here with us

Wow, so similar to my situation! Tried for a year at home with donor sperm (we are a same-sex couple), no dice, so we moved to IUI. After six failed IUIs our insurance covered IVF, which we did in November 2018. In between IUI and IVF I also had a hysteroscopy/D&C to remove uterine fibroids. Our first transfer (fresh) failed, but our February 7 FET seems to have stuck! 775 days of trying, our first ultrasound is on Friday. Fingers crossed for a healthy heartbeat
Hey everyone! TTM here. My period was late and so after 4 days I took a test and got an unexpected BFP. My EDD is 10/28. I live in Central MA, married to DH for just over 9 years, and have a DS (May13) and DD (Aug16). Can’t wait to get to know you all!

Hi! I’m expecting my first baby. As of right now EDD is October 28! I’ve been married to my husband for 4 years! We have a small homestead in the blue ridge mountains ❤️
I'm due Oct. 6th I'm a FTM. This is my second pregnancy after a miscarriage in early November, so I'm cautiously optimistic that this one feels completely different! I have my 1st prenatal appointment on Thursday!
Hi all! I'm a FTM, with an EDD of 10/10. This is my first pregnancy, and we have our first US on Monday. Hopefully everything looks good, FX. Married for three years, we have two fur-babies and are hoping to buy a house before baby comes. I'm excited to get to know many of you ladies, and thank you in advance to the STMs and TTMs+ for all your advice. 🤗
Holy crap! I got a crazy bright pink BFP this morning, so I guess I belong here now.
YAY!!!
I’m Pickles. 37 years old. City girl from Tennessee. Former librarian turned SAHM. Married 5 years. He’s the chill one; I’m the intense one. We both like books and live music, but we ADORE our 13 month old son.
I’m into interior design and DIY home renovation stuff, knitting, making complicated craft cocktails, and all things BRITISH. Following the British Royal Family is my guilty pleasure.
I’m excited about this new pregnancy, but afraid to get my hopes up too much yet. I have an extensive history of loss.

- August 2015: MC at 8 weeks - July 2016: Our first child was born. He had hypoplastic left heart syndrome and CHARGE syndrome. He had open heart surgery when he was 5 days old. He lived 23 days. - January 2017: Chemical pregnancy - February 2017: MC at 6 weeks - January 2018: Our son was born!!!
Today: BFP!
@PleaseSendPicklesNow Fellow Anglophile here 🤗 I read through your history. I’m so sorry for all of your losses. You are a strong woman to have survived so much. I’m so glad you have your son and sending you positive thoughts for this one ❤️
I’ve been lurking for a few weeks so decided it’s finally time to get involved. I am 27 and my husband is 26. We live in GA with our two fur baby pups and are hoping to add our first non-fur baby to the family in October. **TW** This is my fourth pregnancy with three prior miscarrriages so it’s been a pretty daunting experience thus far. My most recent MC was in January and we started a new cycle with clomid before I had a period so not really sure where I’m at gestational wise. 🤷🏻♀️ TW ended
I hope to stick around and find as well as provide some support to you ladies!
@PleaseSendPicklesNow I’m so sorry to hear about your previous losses. I actually wrote my Masters thesis paper on HLHS so I understand the condition pretty well and conceptually understand the difficulties involved (as I’ve never experienced it or had a patient go through it, I can’t claim to fully understand it). Wishing you good luck on the current pregnancy!
@bacheerios Hi! It’s really nice to meet someone who’s familiar with HLHS. When I was pregnant, people used to tell me, “Don’t worry about your baby’s heart! I know someone who had a murmur, and he’s FINE now. UGH!
Are you a doctor now? Or maybe a pediatric cardiology ICU nurse? I’m still reading through all the introductions.
We temporarily relocated to Boston for his birth so he could have surgery at Boston Children’s. I firmly believe that if he only had HLHS, he would be here now. His CHARGE syndrome (and the other birth defects that went along with it) wasn’t identified until after surgery.
