@faithhopelove01 FX that your beta comes back doubling!! @gingerheadgirl I think doing a HPT is definitely a very personal choice. For me I needed to do it to be let down easy. I didn’t get a positive and therefore when my beta came back negative yesterday I had already delt with most of my sadness and it was helpful for me.
605!!! So more than doubled from Monday and my progesterone was 25.7 which she said looked great. I am just so relieved, happy, thankful and blessed. Our first ultrasound with RE is not scheduled until March 12th (7 weeks) so now it's the waiting game for that. I will keep lurking if that is okay to check-in on all you ladies, this board has been such a great place for support and encouragement.

My transfer is less than 24 hours away, I go in tomorrow at 10am! So excited and nervous... Even though I have an easy Monday to Friday desk job I took tomorrow and Friday off to just relax at home.
@ceriley1 thank you for that reference! I’m so sorry you have to wait until the 4th. I can only imagine as I’m already dreading the 9 days I have to wait.
I finally figured out how how to change my username so I’m no longer Knottie 50993788
@faithhopelove01 thank you for the information! I know I still have quite a few days before I have to start worrying about numbers but I’m just so anxious and excited to get there
I finally figured out how how to change my username so I’m no longer Knottie 50993788.
@ericandmaria I have tried lot of them haha. I wore warm socks, ate McDonald's fries after, watched a Netflix comedian special right after, I drink Pom juice, and I eat pineapple with its core. I figure it all couldn't hurt, so might as well try
@liz_83 I'm planning on keeping busy these next few weeks, so they will hopefully fly by
Hola Ladies! my transfer was smooth enough yesterday, got 2 5 day blasts tucked in...hoping they snug in right away! Feeling sleepy and tired most of the time so took a bit of time in coming back to my favorite board Hows everyone else holding up?
AFM, I had my follow up after my failed FET. My RE feels strongly this cycle failed because of immunologic response, basically my body attacked the blast. So next round we are going to suppress my immune system by adding dexamethasone, medrol, lovenox injections and an intralipid infusion as well as PIO, estrace pills and patches and progesterone suppositories. Once they do the intralipid infusion I'll be quarantined at home because my immune system will be too suppressed to fight off anything until after the transfer is complete, about 3 weeks. I am definitely looking at an early April transfer. I'm scared and nervous all at the same time but hopeful this is what we need to have a successful transfer and pregnancy. I'll still be lurking around this board for a bit and posting here and there. Everyone has been so supportive and I appreciate it so much ♡♡
@aconklin214 it’s nice that you have a plan to move forward! I’ve never heard of what you are about to do. If you don’t mind talking about it, how did they figure all of that out?
@aconklin214 so good to hear of ur next plan! @hchill0209 sending out sticky vibes to u!! @char245 am sorry ...did i miss out on sending oodles of love to u...will pray for u and wish u the best
@waitingformyangel it went well! Feeling tired too, hubby and I had lunch right after the transfer (Dr said it was ok, last time we went directly on a plane to visit some friends lol) and I netflixed the rest of the day, thankfully yesterday I tried to sit most of the day at work and today I work from home, got my RE to change the first beta test to day 10 (next Saturday) instead of day 12, they said they'd get me results that same morning, this waiting sucks!
aconklin214 I can imagine it's reassuring to have a new plan/protocol in place and as heartbreaking as a cycle failing is, it's exciting to know that you are changing it up for hopefully a better outcome this time around. Sending up prayers and lots of positive vibes as you go into this next round in early April. @hchill0209 - Sending sticky vibes your way, whoohoo for being PUPO! @waitingformyangel so glad your transfer went well and those little embabes are snuggling in nicely! @ericandmarie congrats as well on being PUPO, that's fantastic they moved up your beta!
Thanks everyone for the congrats and well wishes, I am so relieved about the 2nd beta and now just trying to enjoy this time before the US and be in the moment. I find I get so ahead of myself sometimes with all the worrying about all the "what ifs". But right now I am pregnant and going to just continue to thank God and remain so very grateful and positive this will all work out and babe and I will have a healthy and happy 9 months.

My Beta is way late...they dont do it before 15dpt....sigh!! Will have to survive somehow...But am not going to scumb to HPTs reason being i just dont think am sane/ strong enough to handle the results...will wait it out...
@char245 I had a genetic test done last year called Fertilome. It is a genetic test specifically for reproductive issues. The test came back postive for multiple different issues, MTHFR, Endometriosis, RPL, Hormone Regulation, Blood Circulation and Immune Response Regulation. Unfortunately before this FET my doctor forgot we had done this test and put me on a generic FET protocol. Yesterday he realized we needed to throw everything possible at this next cycle if we want it to work because of my multiple issues and that my diagnosis of poor egg quality was incorrect. I am not going to lie, I was pretty pissed off and ready to change doctors after this. After calming down, I decided to do this cycle and see what happens. I will probably change doctors if this cycle fails, but will definitely make sure I advocate for myself going forward, instead of just doing whatever they say.
@aconklin214 I’m so sorry they messed up this first cycle for you. I’m glad you have a plan and it sounds like it should be successful! I completely understand wanting to switch docs (I’ve felt the same way) but it’s so hard once you’ve already gone so far with the doc you have. FX that this protocol will be the one that works for you!!
So... 1 week until my beta.... Time is going so slowly... Working M-F... At least I have breakfast at my mom's tomorrow, she's watching our 20 month old for a couple nights to give us a break.. also have my aunt's birthday dinner to keep be distracted this week.. then we find out next Saturday... The waiting is just ughhhh.. Binge watching Handmaid's Tale this weekend lol, did anyone else do anything interesting to pass the time before first beta? I think from what I remember last time I had 3 betas then 3 weekly ultrasounds then they sent me to my regular OB.. have a good weekend everyone!
Ok ladies....am officialy driving myself nuts! Binging on my favorite food, reading lotss of books but thinking alllllllll the time😂😂 Am having low cramps not very strong ones....but very scared @ericandmaria@hchill0209@ceriley1 any symptoms? @char245 am sure you will most definately chalk out the best possible plan and in the meantime sending you virtual hugs @aconklin214 i can totally feel it girl...but here's wishing u the very best for ur April cycle❤ @faithhopelove01 how are you doing...did u feel anything around about 4dpt?? Sending baby dust and wishing luck to all of u!
@Kriztyn good luck today, sending sticky vibes your way!
@ericandmaria I wish I had something wise or helpful to add to keep you busy and not obsess over the wait but I don’t. Sounds like your trying your best to pass the time, binging tv shows and reading books I did that too and I tried to get out of the house a lot. I did lots of cooking and stayed busy but I still obsessed over if I was pregnant or not.
@waitingformyangel the only symptom I had at 4dpt was some cramping and I mostly felt very normal. And my cramping was on and off and continues to be, for me it’s always been a positive sign that little embryo is snuggling in and implanting, FX that’s what’s happening for you too!!

I started PIO last night. Tried it in my thigh and needless to say I won’t do that again! I’m hobbling around and in quite a bit of pain. I also started Endometrin today. After only one dose of each and continuing with Estridiol I’m exhausted and not feeling great. I’ve been on the verge of tears all day. I’m sure all the emotions are due to the hormones but the added fatigue is another level. FET is Thursday the 28th. How long should I expect these symptoms to last?
@waitingformyangel I had 2 mild cramps the day of the transfer and today (very very mild) it's 4 dpt, also according to my Fitbit, my heart is spiking over 100 with just doing little things, just more easily tired. Might be my anxiety hopefully it's baby/ies snuggling in
@faithhopelove01 thanks! At least I have the Oscars tonight to distract myself with, also in the middle of reading a book on my Kindle, have 4 more that I added recently lol.
@jepd73 fatigue and emotional rollercoaster.... Hmmmm... That's hard to say how long, I had them on and off until the month after my son was born, good lol! The best way I've found so far to do the PIO injections is to ice area (ideally your behind) for 15-30 minutes (whatever you have time for) then rubbing area after injection then doing a heatpack for 30-60 minutes after. The pain is way less and less noticeable. Good luck!
@waitingformyangel I have been feeling a few symptoms the last couple of days, but I'm not sure if they are pregnancy symptoms, from my meds, or in my head haha. I've been tired, have very tender breasts, cry at the drop of a hat, lower back pain, and have some discomfort/mild cramps. I also have been getting heartburn after I eat, which is very abnormal for me, but I've read that people usually get heartburn towards the end of their pregnancy? Still holding out to take my HPT, but I don't know if I can make it much longer. I do plan on taking one before my beta on 3/4. How are you feeling?
Big news for me everyone! Transfer is this Friday! My lining is the best it’s ever been, 7mm!!!! So happy! Looks like the surgery worked (had csection defect).
We did a much different medication protocol this cycle as previous 2 cycles didn’t respond to Estrace patches, oral or vaginal. I believe they call this a natural cycle with only follistim and garnirelix. My estrogen and progesterone rise from the natural hormones but making sure you don’t ovulate or the cycle gets cancelled.
Below were my levels for estrogen and progesterone and medication protocol this cycle:
Tuesday 2/19- monitoring this morning 112.05 estrogen & .24 progesterone (follistim 75 injection at night and deoxycycline antibiotic twice a day) lining was 4mm. A lot of follicles on each side - about 15 less than 10mm on each side
Thursday 2/21- monitoring this morning 171.55 estrogen & .31 progesterone (follistim 75 injection at night and deoxycycline antibiotic twice a day) lining was at 5mm. A lot of follicles in each side - about 15 less than 10 on each side, 12mm, 11mm size follicles
Friday 2/22 - no monitoring but medication change. 75 follistim still and 1 prefilled syringe of Garnirelix at night and deoxycycline twice a day
Sat 2/23 - monitoring in the morning 126.49 estrogen (they said it’s normal to go down in estrogen when starting Garnirelix) and .30 progesterone. Lining was 6mm New medication tonight: Follistim 150 and 1 prefilled syringe of Garnirelix. Go back to monitoring tomorrow morning. Doctor personally called me to tell me that my liking has never looked so good! Was told to bring Progesteone Oil medication to yonkrrow mornings monitoring. If my lining is closer to 7mm I start PIO in the morning. Follicles were large 10-14mm on both sides. Continue taking deoxycycline antibiotic twice a day.
Sun 2/24 - monitoring in the morning 183.72 estrogen and .40 progesterone Lining was 7mm Follicles on left were 18mm, 16mm, 14mm, 12mm, etc. follicles on right were 17mm, 16mm, 15mm, 13nm, etc. Nurse gave me shot of Progesterone in Sesame Oil at 7:30am, I take the next shot at 8pm at night continue takinh deoxycycline antibiotic twice a day. Only on PIO medication and antibiotic from now on. Transfer scheduled for Friday March 1st. I go back Thursday morning for monitoring. PIO dose is 1ml every night at 1pm.
@italianmommy8 sending you good thoughts! Our transfer is 2/28 and beta is 3/9. My side effects have luckily calmed down and I'm feeling back to normal.
@ceriley1 Am glad you posted that! Am very tired, mildly nauseous, getting no sleep at night, feeling depressed and bitchy alternatively!! Lols (but am generally a happy positive person to be with) have had mild cramps on and off, yesterday i had convinced myself that that this cycle did not work and was feeling soo sooo sad, don't know why I have also had a few sensations in my boobs, not pain but tingling/pulling kind, maybe! in short am a total mess (not to add the progesterone suppositories are not making it easy for me!) my beta is next wednesday, that's like a 1000 yrs away! right? Will not do HPT, am tooooo scared @italianmommy8 sticky vibes and baby dust to u! @hchill0209 woohooo that's the best news!! praying for a whole nine months of happiness for u!
@waitingformyangel thank you! Where are you on this cycle?
@jepd73 yes we medication protocol did you use? I’m just starting to go down from all the follistim. I looked like 6mo. prego from stunning with follistim
