@galentine ah that's adorable!! I love that card and that you had the where with all to write him something sweet. For MH, I grabbed a random gift box from our closet, scribbled "I love you" on top, threw the four tests in and threw a (clean) rag on it. He first exclaimed over the dirty rag that he didn't want to touch it before he saw the tests underneath...Yeah, not my most shining moment but he was so happy anyways.
Anyone know how long it takes for them to open the board? Things have changed since I’ve been here because they used to have 3/4 months open and waiting at a time
@marbellie congratulations!!! I think I’ll finally be able to breathe after delivery... lol
@cdnrunning those betas look amazing! I’m also on 200mg progesterone and have been since 3dpo. I didn’t have a short LP, just low progesterone so I’ve been taking during LP.
@emily1052 do you get super sleepy from the progesterone? I'm sitting here in bed as I type this, contemplating whether or not I should call it a night
@tinybluesprite That's a handful of doctors for sure! Thankfully you have the added bonus of getting some updated HCG numbers!! Sometimes I wish I could have mine pulled every week so I could have an "ongoing confirmation" that everything's progressing as it should
@marbellie jupiter! I always thought she should be running the group lol the baking part was my favorite thing about her.
@cdnrunning not who you asked, but I’ve noticed I’ve been sleeping better since I started the progesterone supplements last week. I do it right before bed, but they only have me on 100mg. They’re the ones that suggested before bed since, while it’s a pill, I’m not supposed to take it oral (if you get what I mean), and things can get messy 🤷🏼♀️ This is the first time I’ve used them 🤷🏼♀️
@cmbt2 I sleep better too!! Unfortunately I'm always feeling reading for bed between 830-9. Not super practical lol. Will you be taking them all the way through 10-12 weeks of the pregnancy?? Hopefully you can switch to oral, it's definitely a lot less messier

They said to take it non orally even though it’s prescribed as oral because it’s more effective 🤷🏼♀️ I’m on them for the next 12 weeks
Congrats @galentine! I hope that you have a smooth and easy pregnancy.
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

Hi! I feel like you read my mind by creating this thread. It feels a little early to make it official by jumping into the October 19 board, but it appears I'm a little bit pregnant! We've been trying, and I started having pregnancy symptoms at only a week past ovulation. I didn't think that was really possible so early on, but they symptoms were so pregnancy specific I couldn't think of anything else that would cause them! Nausea, fatigue, enhanced sense of smell, heartburn, and headaches. I bought some tests and got a faint positive on Monday, and I've kept testing and each day it gets a little darker. My Aug 16 board was really fun, supportive and helpful during my first pregnancy, and I'm eager to join the discussion here again. My due date, if this pregnancy sticks, is Oct. 20. I live in Colorado and have a 2 1/2 year old son. I look forward to getting to know you all!
Hello! I’m new to The Bump and thrilled to be here! We struggled with possible a infertility diagnosis recently, tried for a year, then saw a specialist who diagnosed me with PCOS and moved forward with our first IUI on 2/2. I got confirmation from them today that my bloodwork confirms pregnant!!!! I took four tests over the last three days because I couldn’t believe it was true. We’re thrilled!!! I think my due date will be the end of October, but I should get confirmation when we go for an ultrasound in two weeks. Congratulations to you all! I look forward to getting to know you on this journey!
@jennifer7823 and @mb62017, the BMB is now open. These threads are typically started just for the few days or a week or so between when the very first women due in a given month get a positive and when the BMB for that month actually gets opened by the admins. Since it's now open, you won't get much chat or anything on this thread, and it's going to fade away. To participate with the women who intro'd here and others due in October, here's the link to the BMB itself - https://forums.thebump.com/categories/october-2019-moms
Welcome, @medinamama34 You can join all of the October ladies here. There are several posts pinned at the top of the board so you can familiarize yourself with the community. Have a beautiful nine months!

Who was your favorite scout? Sailor Moon herself? Mine was Jupiter, she could bake and kick ass...I can only do the latter.
