We're having American Chop Suey... one of those simple childhood meals that I just find so comforting, I can't get away from. It's sautéed chopped onions, ground beef, elbow pasta, and tomato sauce!
I’ve been craving Taco Bell for about 2 months now but haven’t gotten it, because who wants to puke that up? Now that I’ve felt a bit better I got two tacos today. They tasted so amazing 😂
Found my favorite flavor of sunflower seeds this weekend - coconut. I forgot how nice it was to munch on some seeds in the afternoon. I eat them one at a time, so it takes me forever to get through a handful. It satisfies my urge to snack without eating a ton!

Since being back at work from the holidays I'm back on track with eating healthy. I've been having oatmeal for breakfast, salad for lunch, and lots of veggies for dinner. And I now feel like the most bloated person on the planet! It's like my body doesn't want it and only wants the crap I was eating over the holidays! "What is this, a SALAD? We want steak!!"
The science department at my school today was doing their "muscle lab" studying muscles by using... steak! And then they cooked steak for all the teachers. I am so happy right now Yummy steak for my lunch that I did not have to buy or cook!
I got a cinnamon dolce latte and bacon Gouda breakfast sandwich from Starbucks after barre class this morning- so good. Dinner tonight I’m trying out a spicy Thai noodle recipe!
I had an egg for the first time in a while. It was still not the best, but didn't turn my stomach.
Trying to figure out what to have for dinner. Pickings are slim. I've got burger, cauliflower, green beans, cheese, rice. Thinking of just throwing that stuff together and hoping it's not horrible. Anyone have recipe suggestions?
I have gestational diabetes that don't seem to be in check this pregnancy so until I go back to the specialist I have to be real careful - which means almost no carbs.. so my watermelon, cereal, cheese fries and strawberry milkshake cravings are out of the question ☹️
i'm going to dehydrate some jerky tomorrow... (don't worry, I'll make sure my dehydrator is the right temp!) ...I seriously can't wait to eat some!! Also doing a pot roast for the fam
Finally got the spaghettios I've been craving for a week!!! DH says I have the most uninteresting cravings ever. He said I just crave stuff I already liked.
I’m doing a whole30 right now...so veggies proteins and fruit for the most part...but allllllll I want 24/7 since getting pregnant (and it hasn’t faded at all) is EGG ROLLS!! I feel like I could eat them all day every day
I'm making leek risotto and roasted brussel sprouts with hot honey glaze and lime juice. I cannot wait to eat it, thus the torture of having to make it first.
I’m finalllllllllly feeling better. Most of my aversions are gone this week and I’ve been able to eat most of what’s been served at our resort. I even allowed myself a frozen mojito and it was basically the best thing ever.

@saroos3137 I second the chips and dip, specifically salsa. I purposely avoided buying any chips because I'm sure I'll eat the whole bag in one sitting.
If I were to pinpoint a craving so far, it'd be anything tomato, but not sliced tomatoes. Never really been a fan of that. I'd eat tomato soup, spaghetti sauce, spaghettios, and salsa all day, though!
@cindler the only thing that saved me from my nausea during pregnancy #1 was campbell's tomato juice I filled our pantry with mini cans that I could throw in my purse.
@pregnantandpaleo have you ever tried making egg roll in a bowl? You can find recipes on Pinterest. It’s not the same as an actual egg roll, but tbh it got me through the last week of my first whole30 😊
@pizzaplz yes! I love making that. This is my 6th round, and I actually own a business meal prepping for people doing whole30, paleo and keto. I make egg roll in a bowl all the time! Ahh I should make that right now I don’t know why I haven’t thought of that yet! I can’t wait to eat that crispy deep fried wrapper though Hahahaha thank you for the inspiration!!!
DH and I are celebrating sale of our rental house tonight. Finally have that off our plates! Going to the only Italian place in town!!! Too bad I can't pop a bottle of wine.
I made broccoli salad yesterday (with raisins of course!). Sooo good! Went great with the Thai fried chicken I made. I love trying new recipes. My husband is a good sport about it😊 He's kinda picky, but at least he's willing to try new things most of the time!
I made bad choices... I was supposed to go do my 3 hr GD test. And I SPECIFICALLY asked if I needed to do anything to prepare for the test. And they said, No. I get there and the lady asked if I had fasted for 8 hours... The F&*%. I was SO MAD. I cried and drove like an asshole. Then, I went straight to target and got Hot Pockets and a pint of Ben and Jerrys.

Also, the mini cans of tomato juice are the best! I'll be getting some with the next grocery order!
