when I was looking through our wedding pics, I realized I have my darn bouquet up in almost every picture so these are pretty much the only ones I have of just the dress ETA mine was a Justin Alexander!
I had a hard time choosing one. I don't remember who the designer was on this one, but I ended up getting this dress for a steal because it was discontinued and someone had put it in the wrong (expensive) section of the store where I was just casually trying on dresses to figure out what style I wanted. I wasn't planning to find and buy my dress that day, but tried it on, saw the shockingly low price, and bought it. I also made my own veil after seeing how much they wanted for them at the bridal shop.
ETA: I think maybe it was Madison James? Maybe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Now off to go ogle all of your photos on a PC because the app sucks!

@lillywonderland I love those shoes (and dress)! And lol to the Kleenex as part of the "accessories" picture. From what I know about you, that sounds about right
@galentine I LOVE that beading on your dress! So pretty!
@b_1029 My twirl was on point in my dress! Not gonna lie, DH and I were BOTH crying as I walked down the aisle (hence the Kleenex, LOL). It was very emotional, and the pics are hilarious now!
@b_1029, I love the detail on the back of your dress!
@lillywonderland, OMG how nuts we almost got the same dress! Even crazier, my second choice was tea-length dress, which I ended up buying and wearing with aqua colored shoes to our after party!! Are we the same person?! By the way, I LOVE YOUR SHOES. 😍😍
Here is mine on the model. It was an Allure Bridal. ETA: I am afraid to post my real pictures in case somebody I know recognizes them as my wedding is super recent. I want this place to be my safe place to share about our TTC struggles. I've been on boards since 2003 and I've seen A LOT of drama. The Knot/The Bump were wild back then.

@jennifer_louise thanks, in my BMB back in 2012 we did a ton of these GTKY threads and the wedding ones were always a big hit (bouquets, rings, dresses, goofy wedding photo, etc)
@inthewoods23 I love how your pics are...in the woods Ugh, I just love how flowy and light your dress looks. Was it actually flowy and light? lol most times its an illusion!
@galentine What a sweet and romantic dress, I LOVE the keyhole back
@shamrocandroll oOoOoO veeeery pretty. The color suits your skintone perfectly too!

@nomangos23 yes it was fairly light and flowy! Even though it was FOUR LAYERS. Which was a hit to my wallet with alterations of each layer. They didn't make this one in a petite size that would have been a dress that was 4 inches shorter than the regular size and that was basically what they had hemmed off. Maybe I shouldn't have gone with comfortable flats for my shoes... Which were bright green btw!
Confession - my last name is Woods so we totally latched onto to woods as a theme. My bouquet had daisies, leaves, and even moss!
I could gush about my wedding details all day!

@inthewoods23 Girl yes I am starting a protest for wedding dress designers to make petite sizes! Short girls matter too okay? I love the play on your last name too! We have a fun last name we play on all the time too.
@rikiteacup lol yes, much tape until I sweated it all off and you can literally see my nipple in one of my wedding pics. Whoops.
ETA words lmao. So I NEVER pictured myself in lace, like never. I originally wanted tea length but none of them spoke to me. When I went to the bridal shop, they were having a trunk sale. She pulled this with the hopes that it could be shortened. Well, 1 look in the mirror and I walked out crying. My mom, grandmother, and moms bff all lost it when I walked out. Also going to find and add a pic of the front detail.....
Y'all are giving me all the feels today. I love this so much.

My dress has pockets and it'll basically just be full of kleenex. @inthewoods23 MF will be so jealous of YH's green tie. This is obviously still too long so I’ll have it shortened (shorties FTW!). It’s also probably 2 sizes too small.

@kiki047 Thank you so much! We built everything. I hand painted soooo many signs. But I had two years to plan and I'm an art fart lol. It was in the beginning of September!!! I said this before but you look STUNNING. I can't wait to hear all about the wedding plans!!!
@elle-0409 I LOVE that the veil is your mom's. I tried to use something some my mom's dress but she was 5 months pregnant with me so........ there's wasn't much to use You've got a perfect frame for such a beautiful ball gown. It looks so good on you! I wanted one but I just looked like a chubby bell. That bouquet is sooo pretty too.
@brookert615 Ooooo veeeery pretty! What is that kind of dress considered? It's not mermaid is it?
I'll play today. This ones fun. Who doesn't like showing off their dress!? I got my dress at a consignment shop for a couple hundred bucks. I was all about the lace and beading and I could not find a dress I liked at any other shop. I removed a couple big gems from it that had a metal backing (the metal was starting to tarnish). It worked out great.

@stephanie123456 Yes yes yes love the lace!
I got my dress at a consignment shop for a couple hundred bucks. I was all about the lace and beading and I could not find a dress I liked at any other shop. I removed a couple big gems from it that had a metal backing (the metal was starting to tarnish). It worked out great.
