@ruger0228 Maybe your embryo implanted on day 3 and it's starting to burrow further into your uterus and that's why you're just now feeling it. What kind of test are you using at home? Drink some pomegranate juice... it helps increase blood flow to the uterus.
@italianmommy8 I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Did you do a fresh transfer or a frozen?

Ok I finally had my follow up appointment today. They said my lining looks good at a 7-something and my transfer will probably take place around New Years. My natural cycles ladies, is there anything I can do to help ovulation along? I’m off next week and would love to have my transfer then if possible. I know I read here that drinking pomegranate juice might help anything else?
I had cramping at 4dp5dt and then spotting started at 6dp5dt and I really thought I was out, but I was wrong. There is still hope. My spotting lasted until 8dp5dt, i finally tested that night and then went for beta last Friday.

I remember all that from our Fresh transfer in July! This time, I could barely see the ultrasound screen from how they had it tilted (which I thought was weird, but didn't think anything of it), and I FELT the catheter... I am just confused as to why she never hit the plunger and gave it back to the embryologist if she didn't push it? The whole situation is so unclear and upsetting. I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard. I feel the normal crampy symptoms but I get that from Estrace and PIO... so it's nothing new. Going to get a test or 2 tomorrow and go from there..
@Kriztyn Did they tell you they didn't push the plunger or could you see that they didn't push it? I hope everything turns out ok!! I hope those cramps are from that embryo getting all nice and snuggly in there!!
Sanity check: is it ridiculous to pay $40 OOP for additional HCG tests at a private lab? My betas were strong but I’m so terrified of yet another chemical. My ultrasound is in 12 days.
I woke up this morning and just started crying uncontrollably. I haven’t had a single symptom, no cramping, pulling, twinges, not even sore breasts or bloating........nothing. It took me so long to get here and I thought I would feel better knowing I had a couple more frozen, but I don’t. I just want this to work SO bad. A week ago I felt like I could go through 10 more retrievals if needed, but today I feel tired, I’m just so tired of trying and getting no where. Well vent over, gotta put on a happy face, it’s Christmas time, a time when everyone is suppose to be happy. Thanks for letting me vent
@elvedon I’m sorry you are continuing to have anxiety about it. It’s totally normal. I’ve used Request a Test before and I’m sure I’ll do it again. They are having a sale through December - I think it’s 10 or 15% off. You get the results next day electronically through their portal. Also, if I ask my clinic will do weekly betas for me until first u/s. For how expensive IVF is, what is another $40 or so bucks?
AFM
HPTs and beta are +. It’s funny elvedon asked about the independent lab because I freaked out the day before first beta and had one done myself. Rise was good - doubled in less than 24 hours. Still just not ready to get jazzed about it with my history. My clinic is not open again until Wednesday so that’s when next official one is. I managed to not test yesterday and today tbh the lines just look the same as Thursday. Trying not to read into it but I have too much baggage to be an unabashed optimist.
@onebrightlight it's still early for you. You may not feel much of anything yet. My boobs didn't start getting sore until 10dp. Some people dont feel any symptoms at all. Try not to stress too much. Are you going to test or hold out til beta?
@elvedon if it gives you peace of mind then I say go for it. $40 isn't extreme.
Congrats!!!! Doubling in 24 hours is amazing. . I know what you mean though... I'm excited that I'm moving in the right direction but I'm still holding my breath until I see the hb on my ultrasound. For now, I'm cautiously optimistic.
@elvedon I agree with the other ladies if that $40 will give you peace of mind then do it. As Zamora said when it comes to IVF what’s $40. What will create more anxiety for you spending the money or worrying about the numbers. What will bring you peace?

@kimberlyshae Thank you, we are leaving for Christmas vacation today so I’m hoping my mind will be distracted. I plan to test on Tuesday which will be 8dp3dt and 2 days before beta.
Off to the Jan 2019 FET...went for blood work Friday morning to see if it worked and it was negative 0 beta...our first FET transfer was on 12/13 with 5AB frozen embryo. Cried a lot yesterday, so hard! Was told to take off estrogen patches and no more progesterone with sesame oil injections since yesterday afternoon. She said I’ll gey my period in a few days, and then on cycle day #3 I’ll start monitoring and start estrogen patches again. I had issues with fluid leaking into my uterus on and off looks like my last csection in 2011 might be the cause csection scar and my lining was barely 6.4 mm at transfer. Just so bummed. I wish you all best of luck!!!
I'm soooo sorry!! You're right, it's so hard!! But I'm glad to hear that you're jumping right back in in January. Drink some wine over the holidays and I'll be stalking the January board to check on you!
I decided to ask my nurse if I can have another beta. If she says yes, that’s the problem solved, and if she doesn’t, she will explain why it’s not necessary this time. I figured out that what was bothering me was going behind my doctor’s back, in essence, instead of asking his opinion and trusting it. If I can’t feel like we’re on the same team, that’s a problem.
@italianmommy8 I'm so sorry. I know a failed cycle can be very emotional. Best of luck with the january transfer.
@onebrightlight it's such a tough time to be going through this. Dont hesitate to take a little time to yourself over the holidays. Sometimes I just lock myself in a seperate room. For 5 minutes to regroup when it gets to be to much.
AFM: 5dp5dt and trying not to test. Feeling more symptoms than I did with out last FET (I'm so thankful i journaled through that one so I can compare). Starting to feel hopeful. 5 sleeps until Beta.
My third and hopefully final beta is scheduled for this Thursday. I’ve been going crazy testing and waiting for the control line to start fading. I finally got what I was looking for tonight🙌🏼 Ultrasound is scheduled for Jan 3, which will put me at 7 weeks. Does anyone else feel like this is taking forever???? It seems like this doctor does everything a week later than most other doctors I’ve worked with. 🥴

@lindsjacobs why are they doing are 3rd beta on you? Your numbers are strong. I had no idea that the test line would steal die from the control line. I had to google that one GL to you tomorrow! I haven't tested since day 11. I feel like I would drive myself crazy!
Great question! I wish I knew💁🏼♀️ I’m guessing they prefer to see the beta in the thousands before doing an ultrasound. It has been a very stressful week for me. I’m the past, I would be having my 6 week ultrasound tomorrow, not another beta. Today is the last day I will test at home, since the control line is almost gone. I’ve never tested past the 2nd beta, but to be honest, this doctor made me a bit nervous requesting a 3rd to begin with. Are you going on for an ultrasound on the 3rd or 4th? Mine is the 3rd. I’m so excited for you🥳 How are you feeling?

I decided to ask my nurse if I can have another beta. If she says yes, that’s the problem solved, and if she doesn’t, she will explain why it’s not necessary this time. I figured out that what was bothering me was going behind my doctor’s back, in essence, instead of asking his opinion and trusting it. If I can’t feel like we’re on the same team, that’s a problem.

AFM: It's 8dp5dt. Last FET my trigger was clearly out at this point. This morning I'm getting a faint positive. I'm very hopeful for Friday's beta.
