Hi everybody! My name is Natalie. I'm a 3rd-time BTDT mom; I have an 8-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. We live in Southeast Tennessee. I work from home as a full-time freelance digital marketer. We have two cats (Kubo and Cersei), and my EDD is 8/13!

Hello everyone! My EDD with this little surprise is 8/3. I'll be 30 in 2 weeks (🙈!) and have a 19 month old son with my DH. Won't see my doctor for another 3 weeks so trying to calm my nerves until then.
I’ve been posting on July board because my LMP puts me at EDD 7/31, but I ovulated late and my HCG numbers make it look like I’m later with more likely 8/5 due date. I get a dating u/s next week and can’t wait to finally have a due date.
We’ve been trying for a year and December was going to be the last cycle of trying for us, so I could not be more excited for this last baby to complete our family.
I’m from the Midwest, together with my husband for 10 years on the 12th which is the day I’m going to surprise him with the news I’m pregnant. This will be our 3rd baby, We have a 6 and 3 year old and then my husband has two older sons. We also have a couple dogs and a cat so we are quite busy and I can’t quite imagine adding another baby to the mix, but I know it will be great.
This is my third pregnancy, I had one early MC in 2012 and I have a 5yr old daughter. EDD is 8/5 but I will have to deliver early due to blood mutation I have (Factor V). Had minor complications last pregnancy so hoping for a happy healthy pregnancy. We have one dog and one cat, both v elderly. So excited the board is up!
@mewebster59 we have a lot in common! I’ve had to deleiver early with my other two children due to Factor V and my EDD is 8/5 too, so I figure I’ll be having a July baby.
30 yr old mother of one soon to be 4 yr old little girl(12/8) and expecting my second EDD 8/1 with my boyfriend. We are in a his/hers/ours situation....he has 4 children,I have 1 and we are expecting our first together!Nice to meet you ladies!
@littlestbear03 we are bump twins! I don’t get my dating ultrasound until 12/20, but will most likely be delivering July. Last time they set my induction for a week before due date but I didn’t make it and delivered at almost 37 weeks. I was induced early last time because my placenta “got old” and my fluid was low. Hoping to make it a little longer this time. Also recently found out that I passed factor v to my daughter 😔 so hoping this little one doesn’t get the same.
Hello, I got my BFP this morning. It still doesn't seem real. (Though the symptoms are definitely there.) My husband and I have been trying all year. We have a dog. This will be our first child. EDD is August 14.

How old is your daughter? I’m so sorry to hear that. I don’t know why but I hadn’t thought to get DD checked yet, she’s only 3. I think I was tested around 10-13? I have Factor V and MThr. My mom, sister, aunts and cousins all have some issue, Factor V, Mthr, protein s deficiency, a lot of them having some pretty serious complications and blood clots during/after pregnancy. I’ve been very lucky and my OB has Factor V so she’s very knowledgeable.
Hello all!! STM here. EDD is August 17th. DD is two now. Married, I'm 26 and so is DH. full time college student as well. I tried to plan this pregnancy so I'm not "too" pregnant while in class haha I liked these boards with DD so I thought I'd return. How everyone is doing great!

She’s 5. The doctor said we didn’t really need to worry about testing her early, but she had another small issue and the doctor said they would test for Factor V since they were already drawing blood. I was diagnosed around 14 I think, but had clots when I was 9. Are you on thinners throughout pregnancy? Last time I just did the shots afterwards, so hoping I don’t need them throughout again.
@mewebster59 no just the baby aspirin daily during pregnancy. My sister and mom had to do the daily shots through all their pregnancy’s and I feel so lucky I haven’t had to.
Hi ladies
I intro’d in the July 19 too and not sure where I’ll end up. Based of my last menstral cycle I’ll have a due date around 7/29 but with my previous 2 pregnancies that’s proved to be wrong and that I ovulate late so I wouldn’t be surprised if I have an early August due date.
ill be 34 by the time this baby is due... DD1 will be 5 this month and DD2 was 2 in early August.
this pregnancy was a complete surprise as I was on the pill (and an antibiotic for a uti around Halloween) oops, I definitely thought we were done with 2. We definitely got rid of all our “baby items” I’m having a hard time accepting this but hoping after our dr appt on 12/20 it’ll seem more real
Good Morning!☀️ I am so excited to be in this group with all of you. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am 33 years old. My due date is August 11th (our 7 year wedding anniversary). 🎉 I have been pregnant once before in 2016 but had a miscarriage. Hoping this is the one! 👶 We have two dog babies who can’t wait to love on their baby brother or sister. ❤️
Hi! I'm honestly shocked I'm here. I have a 10 month old baby boy, L, and I was definitely not ready for our second this soon. We went to a wedding last month, left the baby with a friend overnight for the first time, and here we are. Baby 2 is due on August 14 ( @kylelinn our 9 year wedding anniversary). TW - I had a miscarriage in February of 2017 so I'm already trying to calm down my nerves again.
We also have 3 dogs, my husband is finishing up his physical therapy degree, and I work full time (plus some) as an attorney. Our life is crazy. I guess its a good thing I'm used to the chaos. I'm close with the girls from my Feb '18 BMB and told them first!
Hi ladies! BFP this morning, still in happy shock! I was very briefly on TTGP this time around & am sending good thoughts to all the ladies over there.
DH and I have been together almost 10 years, and have one DS (shout out to my amazing F'17 board!), and had one loss at 9 weeks prior to his birth. No pets currently, and I'm a SAHM with side jobs. I also love travel, baking, and crochet.
I look forward to chatting with all of you, my original BMB has been a literal life saver, and we all still talk daily on FB.
@ash0625 My sister in law was kind of in a similar situation. She has a newly one year old and a newborn, definitely didn’t plan to get pregnant so soon. But, now that she’s here, she says it’s easier than she thought exactly because of what you said- she’s already used to the chaos.
Hi all. I’m not exactly sure if I will be sticking around or even how/if I will fit in here. My husband and I have 3 keepers 6, 4 and 2. Yesterday we transferred a 5 day embryo into my uterus that does not belong to us. I am a gestational carrier. I had great experiences with with last two bmb’s and thought maybe I would give this a shot. Because even though it is not my baby, I will still be pregnant and long as this little embie sticks. So fingers crossed. My first beta is the 14th and if all is well I should be due August 23rd.
Hi everyone! I got a super early BFP at 9dpo, 6 days ago. My due date is August 14th. I have a 5 year old girl and another girl who will be 2 in April. We were planning on waiting until January to TTC, but once I finally got husband to fully commit to #3 we stopped being careful and a few weeks later, here we are. We are both excited, although some things would have been easier if this had waited a couple more months. We have a 1 year old cat and just bought our first home 3 months ago, a 100+ year old house. I am home with the girls for the most part, with a part time serving job. I am also a certified birth doula but I am taking a break from that as I raise very small children. Hoping to get back to it soon. DH works in the electrical pneumatic department of a robotics company. We have been together almost 10 years now, married for 7. I have been on the boards with both of my other pregnancies and am still involved in a tight group of women from my April 2017 group. I don't have as much time this time around, but I will try and be as involved as I can. I am hoping for a home birth this time around, but I have yet to call any of the midwives I am hoping to interview. Going to try and get to that next week.

@fishwife799 I'm glad you're here. Everyone needs support during pregnancy.
Can you tell us more? Gestational carriers fascinate me!

@ElcaB I’ll give you a little bit about my journey here and if you have any questions about surrogacy in general don’t hesitate to ask. I am an open book about all of it, just can’t give you information about my IP’s (intended parents).
I knew I wanted to be a surrogate after my second child was born. Initially my husband was not a fan of the idea. But after years of me bringing it up he finally decided it wouldn’t be that terrible lol. I applied back in January of this year. Originally I applied with an agency is SoCal. I was still nursing my youngest at the time, although we were just about done. I had to quit nursing and wait 2 cycles and then we would pick my app back up. I did that and we proceeded. During my interview phone call we talked about a LOT of stuff. We of course talked about where I live and the coordinator realized how remote of an area it was. They ended up declining me being a surrogate for them because of it. They want you to be within 40 miles of a level 2 NICU and I am not. On to the next agency that one of my BFF’s had worked with for her belly buddy born in 2015. They accepted my application and were positive they could match me. After lots of testing and time gathering medical records, a trip to CA for my psych screening and a group therapy session I finally got clearnece to be matched. The first profile they sent me I declined. They wanted to transfer 2 embryos with an ultimate goal of having twins. With where I live it wasn’t reasonable to shoot for that. We know it’s a possibility but the chances are pretty slim with an SET (single embryo transfer). The next couple I liked and they sent them my profile. They also liked me and forwarded all their info to their RE. In August I went down to the Bay Area in CA and met them and their doctor and had a few more blood tests as well as a mock transfer. This is where they put a catheter in you and push a small amount of saline into your usterus to see how it reacts to it. Turns out I have an excellent uterus 😉 Next step was legal clearance. They had their lawyer draw up a contract and then it was sent to my lawyer. We spent 3.5 hours in the phone with her going over it with a fine tooth comb. It’s VERY important of you ever become a surrogate to understand your contract and what it entails and to never agree to something you wouldn’t do. You kind of have to be negative and think about the worst parts of this to make sure all parties are protected. After a few weeks We agreed on the whole contract and signed it! I got clearance and was clear to starts meds on my next cycle. I started taking estradiol (estrogen) 3 times a day in Mid November. I had a lining check on the 28th and my lining was think enough that we could move forward with the transfer. So last Friday I started Progesterone in oil injections nightly in my hip as well as a Prometrium suppository 2 times a day and continued the estradiol. We drove to the Bay Area Tuesday, they transferred a 5 day embryos into my uterus yesterday and we are on our way home today. Just going all hope this little embie stick and we get positive results next week.
Thats my shortened story 😊
And serialist if you have any question ask away! I am happy to answer and if I don’t know the answer try to find one for you!
Hi, ladies. STM here. I was on ttgp when ttc our son from fall 2015-winter 2017. *TW* We had one early loss in summer 2016 in the middle of that time. *end tw*
Our son was born S17 and I got my cycle back in October this year. We had been waiting for it to come so we could start ttc again (and ntnp in the meantime in case we caught the first PP ovulation). We were happily surprised to get ku on the first full cycle after it was on the longer end of things last time.
I'm due august 4th by o day and July 31 by lmp, but I'm going with the 4th due date since it's more accurate. I did intro in July too though.

@WinchesterGirl Congratulations!!! Now I’m trying to figure out which one of the PG announcements you are from the FB group. I’m a shitty participant over there and I never participate, but I’ve been rooting for everyone TTC in the group! ❤️
Since you are an "anonymous" donor (even though you're not since you've met the parents, but I mean anonymous as in you aren't a surrogate for a friend or family member), I assume you are getting compensated. Are you comfortable sharing? I'm just curious; no judgment here. I think what you're doing is great! I was an anonymous egg donor five years ago and I got compensated for that.
Also, what are some of the stipulations in your contract regarding your behavior/care for the baby?
@ElcaB there is compensation in my case. I am using an agency and this particular one does between 40-60k depending on your experience, your insurance, where you live and wether you are employed or not. I am in a few surrogacy groups and list believe that is on the high end. They would say 30-40 for a first time Suro. I chose my agency not for the money though, because I knew they would take me even though I live in a remote area and because my friend had such a good experience with them. I didn’t even realize there were so many agencies until I had already decided to work with them.
So my contract isn't super restrictive. Obviously no alcohol and/or drugs. I have to have all meds approved my my RE or my OB. I can’t have caffeine. No hair dye until second tri and I have to commit to keeping a healthy diet, but there are no restrictions on anything like lunch meat or sushi. Other than those thugs it’s mostly just to follow the RE and my OB’s orders. I’ve seen some contracts that had way more rules than mine.
Hi ladies! Can't believe I'm introing on another bmb but I got my BFP yesterday so here I am. I have a 6 month old so this obviously wasn't planned, but the longer I sit with it, the more excited I get! I'm tentatively due on 8/15 but that may change after my first appointment since my cycles aren't even back to normal yet. MH and I are both 28 and we live in southern California. I'm still very active on my June 18 bmb and look forward to getting to know you all as well!!
Also +1 to having factor V. Crazy there's so many of us! Unfortunately I'm homozygous so I have to do injections for my entire pregnancy and 6 weeks after.
