R/R: I'm sad that the long weekend is over. Hoping the week goes ok with my coworker retiring after this week. He better be helpful!

CS/Q: As of yesterday FF says I O'ed on Friday but that doesn't even make sense because I didn't get a +opk until Saturday but I think it's basing it on the CM I entered. Flo predicts O to be today so I think I will stick around the WTO thread for another day or 2 to see when Flo marks a calculated O date.

  • @SA0012 ah man, I’m so sorry to see you back here. I’m not sure about your question but I’m sorry that DH won’t be around for a bit to help you :(
@inthewoods23 my uneducated guess would be Saturday!

    Month/Cycle: 13/14

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, BBT, SMEP, etc.

R/R: did not sleep at all last night. DH was rolling around / snoring/ doing whatever he does, plus the wind was crazy. Not the best feeling going into the Monday after a holiday weekend but oh well. Rave- we made soup last night and it was delicious as per my taste test haha. I can’t wait for lunch!

CS/Q: I tried temping vaginally for the first time ever (TMI? Haha). I never heard it beep so I just went with what was on it...the beeps on mine are basically silent but when it’s up by my ears I can hear it 🤷🏼‍♀️
  • @SA0012 I'm really sorry to see you back here. :( I'm sorry for your loss.

@inthewoods23 I would also guess Saturday for O. Hope your coworker keeps working until he leaves!

@b_1029 I hope your day goes by quickly and you don't feel too tired today!

    Month/Cycle: 5/6

    CD: 13

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, HIO, PNV

R/R: We decorated the inside of our house (minus the tree) for Christmas this weekend and it makes me so happy every time I look around! This is the first time we've really been able to decorate the outside of our house but I'm not sure what I want to do yet. To be honest, I want to get a bunch of inflatables and just clog up the lawn!!!

    CS/Q: None today
  • @SA0012 I'm so sorry to see you back here  <3.

@inthewoods23 Hopefully your coworker can pull his weight! Have you tried maybe removing CM from FF to see what happens?

@b_1029 Sorry about no sleep! Hopefully this day flies by! What kind of soup did you make?

@riff323 That's so wonderful about decorating!

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: Metformin (for PCOS), Armour Thyroid (for Hashimoto's), PNVs, Vitamin C & D, Kelp, Calcium, OPKs, Temping

R/R: I'm taking a half day at work today so pretty excited that I will be able to stroll out of here and go home to my pup!

CS/Q: Nothing really going on yet :)

CS/Q: FF is showing my ovulation on CD 22, I think I'll have to watch CM and temps and start my OPKs soon so I dont miss O.

@SA0012 - I'm sorry to see you back here. FF might not be able to predict what will happen this cycle, but if you track CM and/or use OPKs, you should be able to know when you are in your fertile window, and temping should confirm ovulation.

@inthewoods23 - I would also say Saturday for O, and FF might change it to that after one more high temp.

@b_1029 - My thermometer beeps pretty quietly too, but if I open the covers a little, I can hear it better. Maybe count to 2 minutes and then check. Mine normally gives me a reading around the 1 minute mark, but after O it can take up to about 90 seconds.

@riff323 - Yay for Christmas decorating! I have a few lights that I'm going to throw over my bushes and call it a day. Our neighborhood doesn't go all out, so I'm not competing against anyone.

@brookert615 - Enjoy your half day! Are you going to do some cyber Monday shopping??

@kimmer1412 - Are your cycles normally that long? Sorry you have to wait so long for O. The TWW is shorter and easier for me after a long long FP.

    Month/Cycle: 7/7

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, CM, accelerated SMEP

R/R: Ate way too much over this extended weekend, so I'm actually glad to be back into my normal routine and hopefully eat better this week! I need to drop about 5 pounds before Christmas so that I can eat all the sugar without feeling guilty.

CS/Q: Nothing yet. Probably will start temping tomorrow. Hoping for a shorter cycle this time around!

@SA0012 so sorry to see you back here. Hang in there.
@b_1029 what kind of soup is it? You'll see, with vaginal temping, your temps will look much more stable and accurate.
@riff323 there is a house in my area with every single square inch of their lawn covered with inflatables. It is...something.

    Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 15

WAYDTGKU: Prenatals, BBT, OPK, FertilAids for men

R/R: It was a good thing we had a 4-day weekend as it gaves us a lot of time to process the news of my right Fallopian tube being damaged/blocked. But, we came up to the conclusion that if his count doesn't go back to normal numbers, it wouldn't matter if my 2 tubes were open, we'd need medical assistance to conceive anyway. He is going to do his 2nd SA in 2 weeks so hopefully we get some good news.

CS/Q: still no sign of O yet. My temps usually tend to decrease a few days before O. OPK still negative.

@inthewoods23 Hope your coworker is helpful and you have a smooth work week. I think CD15 looks like O.

@b_1029 Sorry you had such a bad sleep. Yum I love a bowl of soup on a cold day. What kind did you make?

R/R: Had a lovely weekend and still get today off to recharge before I go back to work tomorrow.

CS/Q: Not sure if I O’d yet as my temp didn’t go up very much. I also didn’t really see any fertile CM this cycle. Guess I’ll see how the next few days of temps look.

  • @brookert615 if I remove CM on Friday FF tells me it can't determine a pattern and goes back to believing that I'll O around the 29-30th.

Usually my temps jump above 98 after O so it must be really close. I think I'll go to the TWW thread tomorrow.

  • @riff323 I wanted to set up our Christmas tree yesterday, but there's an old 125 gallon fish tank in the spot we want to put the tree in this year. It's quite heavy and might be too much for me to handle but I think we're going to try moving it to our basement tonight which requires taking it outside and around the house. Or we might need another person to transport the tank with DH and I'll just get the doors. Either way, I just want to get the decorations up soon!

    @misshelen86 enjoy your day off!
  • @marebear15 I am not sure my cycle length, got my IUD out 10/18 and just got my first cycle 11/22. I think FF isn't sure how to track my cycle yet since I had to enter a date to start so I entered 10/18 so it thinks my cycle was 35 days long 😑 I'm pretty sure I should actually O around 12/5-12/7 but we'll see.

  • @SA0012 I am so, so sorry. I have no experience with that, but am hoping that you will be okay. We are all here for you. ❤️

@inthewoods23 Seeing as how your coworker essentially planned to screw you guys with how he announced his retirement, I highly doubt he’ll be helpful, lol.

@b_1029 I would have kicked DH if I was you. Sleepy Lilly = DGAF Lilly, I needs me sleep!

@riff323 BUY ALL THE INFLATABLES!! lol. I “decorated” my house this weekend with one of those laser light shows and 2 strands of light that have already fallen down. Le sigh.

@brookert615 Have the best 1/2 day ever! Snuggle your pup one extra time for me.

@marebear15 Yes, I totally feel you on the overeating. We *just* finished our main meal leftovers...and still need to finish all the “pies”. Lol.

@rikiteacup I’ll be keeping my FX for good news for you!

  • @SA0012 I'm sorry for your loss. See comments below

After my CP my next cycle was very normal. You may want to check into progesterone therapy during your LP. CPs are a sign your progesterone may be low.

@inthewoods23 I would say Saturday makes more sense too.

@b_1029 Welcome to the club!! Yes I struggled with hearing it beep for the first several weeks too. I've now figured out the exact, right position the thermometer needs to be in so I can hear the beep. You'll get it! And hopefully your thermometer has memory so NBD if you miss it.

@riff323 Yay for inflatables!! And for Xmas decor! Ours went up yesterday too. I'm feeling very festive. We're doing a grinch in the front yard and just hanging a stand of lights from the roof into his hand which is ultimate lazy/festive. WIN WIN

@brookert615 Bless this life for half days. They keep me sane. Enjoy your pup! Q for you able your TSH meds. When do you take all of your supplements while your on Armor? I can't take mine in the AM with my meds, so I take them at night. However I've noticed that I wake up SO dehydrated so I'm trying to figure out if there's a better way.

@marebear15 Ugh I ate waaay too much too. Now I have to eat salads until Xmas to make up for it :(

CS/Q: Any other migraine associated with hormone sufferers out there? I noticed a short AF this cyce (3 days) and several days of spotting + higher then normal temps. These days I was very susceptible to migraines. As soon as my temp dropped to a more "normal" level, they disappeared.

  • @riff323 some of the inflatables out there are so cute! I would totally do one if our outdoor outlet worked. Exciting about Christmas decor! We should start a Christmas thread where everyone shares their trees / decor
@brookert615 Awww, I hope both you and your pup enjoy your half day!
@marebear15 totally feel ya on dropping 5# before Christmas! FX for a shorter cycle!
@rikiteacup I am glad you're feeling better <3 FX for good news on the 2nd SA.
    @brookert615 @rikiteacup @misshelen86 lentil soup!
@misshelen86 hope you enjoy your day off!
@lillywonderland loled at your post...I hope you "old" folk have a great FW ;) and yeah, I really should've just gotten up and switched beds, but I put our flannel sheets on yesterday and was soooo cozy. So really it's my fault for thinking DH would somehow feel my radiating anger and move beds lol
@nomangos23 mine doesn't have memory but this morning I just figured if I hadn't heard it beep and it had been going a while, it had to be done hah. Ugh, I'm sorry about the migraines. I don't get them often now but used to when I was younger and going through puberty, due to hormones. Glad you are feeling great after a long weekend!
  • @kiki047 Sorry for AF BUT at least you didn't have to take Provera? If there's a bright side? And yay for starting cycle monitoring because we're MABMBGA (!!!!)
  • @nomangos23 yup, I'm glad I didn't need it after all. I'm also struggling to figure out when to take all of these meds. I've missed my PNV 3 days in a row because I have to space it out 6hrs before or 2hrs after the metformin, and depending on when I take that (which I have to be careful with cuz it makes my stomach angry... need to be near a bathroom....) I run out of waking hours to take my multivitamin. Now I need to figure out when to take the antibiotics for my sono because I can't take it with anything else either. Gahhhh.

@nomangos23 that's my schedule now, so as long as I remember to eat breakfast in the morning it works. I eat breakfast at my desk though so on busy mornings sometimes I'm not actually eating until 11:30 (like today, while I sit here watching my avocado turn brown, lol). And as long as I don't eat any dairy with breakfast or dinner either... there goes my greek yogurt & berries for breakkie.
ETA: I forgot I have to increase the metformin to 2x daily this week, which is where I get stuck. I'll figure it out, I'm just not good at eating my meals at regular times.

@b_1029 thank you <3 I was going to post in the weekend WTO but it was late Sunday night by the time I got around to it and the boards were deserted. I figured I'd just wait til this morning to check in.

@misshelen86 you have the Ava bracelet, right? From what I remember about other Ava charts, the rise doesn't seem as evident with skin temps. Have you noticed that before?

  • @nomangos23 I take my Armour first thing in the morning and then PNVs and everything at least 2 hours later or around lunch time. I also take calcium and fish oil later in the day with dinner! There just needs to be a cushion so your thyroid meds can do their job and get better absorption. I tried taking my Armour before bed to avoid the weird overlaps and that messed me up so bad lol. Next time you pick up your medicine - ask the pharmacist about what all you take and when they suggest taking them. On another note - yes half days are the best! Glad you were able to reset! Did you get anything special?

@kiki047 So sorry about CD2 :(. Glad your event went well!

  • @kiki047 Good luck with your testing! A blocked tube isn't really bad news (2 blocked tubes is bad news though as you will need IVF). You can still get pregnant naturally. If you want to get PG faster, your OBGYN can prescribe drugs to make you ovulate from both ovaries, thus increasing your chances each month. It becomes a problem if there is a male factor. But like I said, everything with you can be 100% normal, if your H has a male factor, you'll most certainly need reproductive help.
My H asked me how I took the news and I told him I was OK with it. If the doctor had told me both my tubes were open, we would still need to go to a RE as getting pregnant might be almost impossible. Sorry H, your low count is a much bigger problem than a blocked tube. My tube was most certainly damaged when I had my appendectomy at 11 years old. My OBGYN warned me this could be a possibility before I even had the HSG.

  • @SA0012 I am so very sorry for this challenge you're facing!

@riff323 I'm so jealous! This week I plan to slowly put my fall stuff away and start bringing the Christmas stuff out. I'm just not feeling the holidays This year...i have a lot going on, mainly new job and some major health concerns with my dad that has me preoccupied but I'm hoping the decorations make me feel a bit more warm and fuzzy!

    Month/Cycle: 5/6 I think?

    CD: 20

    WAYDTGKU: bbt, opk, pnv

R/R: I haven't been on here in awhile.  My last cycle was crazy- very long and many sporadic + opks. It was really discouraging but I had a positive attitude about this month. Both of my apps recorded last cycle differently (1 kept the original opk while the other kept changing it each time I added a new one), but somehow both predict o to be this wed....cd 22. The 2 confirmed ovulation dates I could truly trust in the past were CD 18 and 22 so I probably shouldn't feel in the dumps due to - opk today but I do. My temps were steady for awhile and then went crazy  the past few days. Chart in spoiler.

CS/Q: I keep gaining weight no matter what I try. I can't help but wonder if our weight is the reason we haven't conceived yet. A friend of mine had great success on the keto diet (low carb, med protein, high fat). I've listened to many videos and it makes sense actually.  Please, no negative comments,  but I am looking for true, factual feedback on how this may affect ttc and pregnancy.

  • @nightdreamr13 have you ever had your thyroid checked? That could certainly cause unexplained weight gain. I’m not sure as far as the Keto diet + TTC but I would assume any healthy weight loss / lifestyle changes wouldn’t hurt!
  • @rikiteacup thank you! The plan for now is a medicated cycle with letrozole, but it will all depend on the SA. MF has had 2 or 3 done in the past when he was trying with his ex-wife, and the results varied but he thinks it was due to stress and other factors, plus he said one time he had to do his sample at home then drive it almost an hour across the city to the lab because that one didn't have an option to do it on-site. He said it was super awkward, he had the car running in the driveway and had to go back inside, do his thing, then tuck the cup into his armpit to keep it warm and drive 20 miles across the city in the dead of winter to drop it off. He thinks that affected the quality too. I've had him on all sorts of supplements for a few months now so I really hope it helps. His antidepressants are known to degrade sperm quality so he's really worried about that.

  • @b_1029 yes, my husband kept saying the same thing - go get your thyroid checked.  I have and they always say I'm fine. They place blame on coming up on my 30s mixed with a desk job..
  • @nightdreamr13 feel ya there. Sorry if that was annoying! I’m glad your levels are fine. Stupid getting older.
  • @kimmer1412 - Ah, I see. Did you not have cycles while with your IUD? I know it would probably be different without it, but it might give you a starting place.

@misshelen86 - I think you might see a secondary LH surge. I'd keep testing if I were you.

@lillywonderland - Get to that Netflix and chilling like you're a horny teenager!
I still have leftovers in my fridge that I need to eat up, but thankfully only one more piece of pie.

@nomangos23 - Did you spend too much money on yourself, or for Christmas presents. If the latter, than at least you can say you're a very generous person!

@kiki047 - Oh no, I'm so sorry to see you over here! At least you didn't have to take the Provera?? idk, I'm trying to see some semblance of positivism. Sounds like you had a relaxing Sunday though!
(and I see @nomangos23 beat me to the positivism punch)

@nightdreamr13 - Have you ever looked at the symptoms of PCOS? You just mentioned two of the big ones (LH surges but no O, and unexplained weight gain while trying to lose weight).

  • @marebear15 no, I haven't. It has crossed my mind but I'm terrified to look into it knowing it limits the possibility of ttc....
  • @marebear15 'twas a nice Sunday, I wish all my Sundays could be that leisurely. And yes, very relieved not to need the provera after all.
@nightdreamr13 actually @marebear15 might have a point there. It may also explain your rocky temps. Keto may help, my naturopath recommended it. I didn't try it myself because the PCOS diet and the inositols I was taking helped me lose almost 20lbs on my own (with no added exercise) after years and years of struggling with my weight. The hard part for me was finding protein that were hormone-friendly, so free range organic eggs, grass fed beef, wild caught fish, etc. I cut out most dairy except a tiny bit of cheese and full fat plain greek yogurt. I saw the biggest change when I just cut carbs in general because of the insulin resistance. Happy to chat more about it if you want to PM me.
