Ahhhh the well wishes have done their job! GTT was normal. Between my high weight gain, heart palpitations after drinking the damn thing & glucose in my urine I for sure thought I'd need to do the three hour. FX for you @molosmiles and @oaklandava

Yeah, it's not very pleasant! Midwife says I'm about maxed out for uterus space, so baby really has nowhere else to go if she doesn't seriously consider spreading out a bit. She's also facing the wrong direction, so I'm hoping she also thinks about spinning around before D-Day.
I had an MFM appointment yesterday for a growth scan and NST. NST looked good but I was feeling some contractions that they weren't picking up on the monitor so that sucks. But I'm confident that the real thing would be showing up.
The growth scan though was super interesting. He's measuring about 10 days ahead on average but his head and legs were measuring a full 2 weeks ahead. He's already 4.5 pounds. But he is head down and that's fantastic news. I don't know why but I had a lot of anxiety about him being head up still. He has super chubby cheeks and so I'm excited to see a chubby cheeked baby boy here in 7 weeks. (crazy) They want me to come back at 37 weeks for another growth scan and NST. Then they'll decide if they for sure induce at 39w and pick the date. It's getting real.
Had my 32w appt today. It was all fairly normal but Bp was a *little* high for me but still in totally normal ranges. She confirmed that I am now allergic to my deodorant. I have little rashes on the outside of my armpits. So I bought a new one - hopefully this will be better.
@gorgeousariel very interesting about your deodorant. I've noticed redness under my arms and just assumed it was clothing related. Hmmm
I had a BPP scan on Tuesday. All was well. They confirmed lo has hair to quote the tech "wow she has a full head of hair" lol. In a strange way it made the intense heartburn seem worth it ; ) Im glad she takes after me there and not dh he is practically bald.
30 week check up today. Scheduled all my appointments for the rest of the pregnancy and got my TDaP. I'm still measuring two weeks ahead so she said we'll likely do a growth scan around 36 weeks and discuss courses of action based on how big they expect LG to be. DS was 8 lbs born at 38 weeks so the fact that she's measuring bigger scares me a little. lol BP stayed ok, we'll do another pre-e check at my next appointment. I'm officially up 20 lbs but my OB is fine with it.
I had my 30th wk appt last Friday. Baby is measuring a few days ahead. He’s face down and his arms are on my right side of the belly. No more bladder kicks so that’s been good although the kicks are now much higher given where he is.
I go back next Friday as it’s now every 2 weeks and will get my tdap shot at that appt. Baby weighs about 3.5 lbs now. Considering DD came a month early at 5 lbs, I’ve a feeling he’ll be bigger for sure if he comes out even later!
Doc advised absolutely no travels 30 mins outside of our hospital. Our goal is to surpass 36 wks. He mentioned steroids to help mature baby’s lungs but I am not worried just yet and would like to avoid them in hopes baby will come after 36 wks.
I had my weekly appointment today and my BP was in the normal range for the first time in over a month! And the pee check looked good too. Even though my blood glucose numbers are creeping up still, my midwife said I could go two weeks before she needs to see me again!
She said the fact that my BP is so low while I’m on thanksgiving break and I’m not having any other symptoms is proof to her that it’s stress related rather than pre-e. Such a relief!

Had an appointment last week Friday at 30 weeks, measuring on track though I feel huge! Blood pressure was good, had my monthly blood draw and platelets are low but stable- iron levels are good too.
Normally they would start biweekly appointments at this point but they said I can extend mine to 4 weeks- so scheduled my next appointment at 34 weeks with the midwife that delivered my first so I’m excited about that! I’m bringing DD with me that time too :-):smile:
Ive been worried about weight gain and baby size- I’m up 28 lbs- but they aren’t concerned. If I gain another 10 lbs I’ll be at exactly the weight gain I was at with my first- bodies are so weird!
Had an ultrasound today to measure growth. Baby girl is right on track! 69th percentile in size. Such a relief - there was some concern that she may not be growing as she should be. Found out she is currently breech. I am only 31 weeks so still plenty of time to move around. But I guess that lump I've been feeling right below my ribs is in fact her head, not her butt as I assumed. They said she is Frank Breech which means her feet are up by her face. I guess that explains why her feet were in front of her face for every ultrasound we have had!
@AliKay20 I had a GBS positive urine culture a few weeks ago and they gave me ampicillin for a week. I will be tested again around 36 weeks and if that’s positive they’ll treat with IV antibiotics during labor.
@AliKay20 I was GBS+ with DS. I had to get a round of antibiotics every 4 hours after my water broke. I was allowed to get up and move and do whatever in between rounds though.
Growth scan today— won’t get the report until tomorrow (hopefully!), but from what I could tell things seemed fine! Looked like most of his body measurements were in the 32 weeks + a couple days range and his head was 33 weeks + a couple days. I’m 31 weeks today, so it seems reasonable. I’ve been expecting him to be bigger than DD, and she has a big head too (disproportionally so ). No idea on the fluid, etc. measurements, but I have no reason to think they wouldn’t be just fine.
