People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.
Re: Ten Things Tuesday 11/20
1. DH and his punny and witty sense of humor
2. Our home, even though it is 50 years old and requires a lot of work and our vehicles because our travel safety is #1 (Tesla model 3!!)
3. Our nearly 1 acre lot for our house
4. My health because I don't get sick very often and reproductively I appear to look good per all my tests
5. My pets - red eared slider turtle (Haejii), some sunfish (both in a nearly 300 gallon tank), kitty cat (Gir), and Pinecone the hedgehog
6. Family, for the most part
7. My 2 girl friends who I told of our fertility struggles and are rooting for us!
8. Being asked to be a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding next year because it's going to be so much fun, she could care less how pregnant I am at the time of her wedding, and any wedding talk makes me so excited and is a great distraction from the TTC journey
9. The high school robotics team I help mentor. Also a great distraction from TTC, but it's also very fun.
10. All the ladies on this board who are going through some of the same struggles as me! Joining this board a few months ago has been such a positive experience!
