@albrooks11 that's a good sign though! And btw Happy 6 weeks! Mine is really mild and I'm not sure if it's really from the PG or it's because of the sinus congestion that I'm feeling that way because I caught the cold, and I'm feeling really tired. I guess I'm only gonna believe it's a symptom if i hear HB on Monday, but other than that it's just the sore boobs.
@knottiee829c I think I have seen 10 weeks on my calendar but I don't have it anymore to confirm it to you. but I do remember them saying also, until placenta is fully formed which is 12 weeks when I googled it. so depending on the clinic I think it goes from 10 to 12. 16 seems a lot and I don't remember seeing that on Sep-18 Forum when lurking, but I might be wrong...
@babydust2507 I will do it as long as I need to but I'm running out of spots, my but is so sore. Has anyone done it on the leg? Nurse said POI shoots in the leg are painful but I'm considering it.
lol I'm running out of spot too! and i feel the pain when i walk. My DH asked me the other day if i wanted to do in the leg now but i don't think I'm ready for it, I like when I don't see the needle coming because he is the one giving me the shot. beside feel like it will be more painful walking too, i don't know... GL to you!
I think they had me stop all meds at 10 weeks with my son. I was nervous so I weaned myself off the crinone more for my sanity. I am also running out of spots and with my latest refill they gave me s larger gage needle
Re PIO stopping—think most stop btw 10-12 weeks. My doc said I was fine to stop at 9werks but I weaned through 10w until I ran out of suppositories. I thought I’d be more nervous after running out but honestly, I was ready to be done. Haven’t looked back and no new spotting so I assume things are working as they should.
I got a HB! 111! Baby is measuring ahead of schedule 6w4d! Thank you all for your support! Next U/S is on friday the 30. My RE wasn't there for my U/S he had a family emergency which I was pretty sad about it but I found out that his wife is a OBGYN and works at the hospital where I wanna deliver my baby, so I found my OBGYN! I'm really excited about it! They advised me to call now so I can be in her calendar! See pictures attached!
I have a question for the ladies that are ahead of us. On one of the first visits RE said it would be ok to go back to intercourse after first US. But we are kind of scared we will mess something up if we do. I’ve never been pregnant so any advice will be appreciated.
@knottiee829c I'm glad you asked that question because this is my concern too. we have been told to resume intercourse after we got our BFP but we didn't and wanted to wait till 1st U/S because of the M/C we had on 1st natural pregnancy. so today we asked again and the RE said we can resume that it won't affect anything but can sometime cause bleeding and if it does to make a pause, but we're still scared, so I'm curious to also know the ladies experience on that
My RE said we can resume after a positive beta. My last pregnancy I was on pelvic rest until 20 weeks and then intercourse was uncomfortable after that. For this one, we haven't resumed because of the potential for bleeding. I haven't had any this pregnancy and it has really lowered my anxiety. So I don't know when I will be comfortable. But to be honest, I have zero sex drive right now anyways
Congratulations to everyone who got their BFP and to all the great US results! About resuming intercourse - if your doctor says it's OK, then it's most likely OK. Sex can't harm your growing bean unless there's some unforeseen reason - and that can happen in every pregnancy, not just for IVF/FET. If you feel anxious about it, just don't do it. Do what feels right. And most of you will probably want nothing to do with sex right now because of the hormones, morning sickness and general being exhausted. I can tell you, however, that the sex drive does come back in 2nd trimester. So if everything goes well, you'll be back at it then.
Take it easy and do what feels comfortable to you. And if you're not sure, just ask your doctor again. That what he/she are there for.

GL to you @sarac986! I'm still spotting too and it's supposed to be normal they said so I try not to freak out, but still anxious for my us on Friday. FX for you ! I'm pretty sure you're fine!
Dr went well. No active bleeding and cervix is closed. I will wait for my ultrasound on Monday. I thought this would be the low anxiety pregnancy but I guess not. Oh well, as long as the little nugget is healthy
I started spotting yesterday morning, I went to RE and they did an U/S they said everything looked good HR of 158. I can’t stop thinking about it since I have a little bit of cramping. I just want to know that everything will be ok. They said lay low, no intercouse or exercise. GL everyone, we need to stay positive and pray that everything will be ok.
They also said spotting is more is more common on IVF, FET pregnancies but they don’t really know why.
Last appointment with RE is next week then I need to schedule with my regular doctor, not sure how I feel about that. I guess we have to move on at some point.
@knottiee829c I think a million people say this every time someone has spotting, but it's always helpful to hear a story again
I had spotting throughout the first trimester, no cause, just spotting. I was given the same advice -- pelvic rest, light activity. Everything turned out fine. It's really out of our hands and with a higher power at this point -- my RE always reminded me of that when I brought up my fears about the spotting etc. My nurse did said as long as the spotting is light pink or brown and only on the TP or a little bit on a liner, it's usually nothing to worry about. You had a great U/S yesterday; it's unlikely anything has changed since then. /pat
And the transition to the regular OB is so hard!!! You get so used to the RE and their staff holding your hand and at the regular doc, you're just another pregnant lady >.< I love my OB and I still found it really rough.
@sarac986 A low anxiety pregnancy sounds lovely.....who has those again? hehe I think I felt less anxiety postpartum than I ever did during my pregnancy!!!

Transition to OB is so hard especially knowing we won't be seen as much as we're used to with RE. I hope to receive special treatment with my OB since she's my RE's wife but I know it won't happen 🙄. I'm already negotiating with then to keep me till mid December at least since my 1st appointment with OB is not until the 20th 😑.Can't wait to go to my appointment on Friday and hope to get a stronger HB. I don't even wanna do anything to help with the nausea because it reassures me and makes me feel like baby is growing in there just fine.
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a nice break. I have a question about the first appointment with the regular OB. So I called today to make an appointment and I explained that my RE wanted me to see my regular OB at 10 weeks they scheduled me for 10 weeks but I won't be seeing my OB I will be seeing a coordinator (wherever that means) can you guys share some of the experiences with the fist appointment? when will I see my OB? I'm getting a bit anxious knowing I've been spotting. I wish I could still be seeing by my RE
Final ultrasound at RE today. Little girl is measuring right on target. My spotting has all but stopped for now. They saw a small SCH that seems to be resolving. I will be off all meds at 10 weeks.
@knottiee829c my first OB appointment with my son was just a pap smear and some blood work. Pretty much re-doing everything the RE did during BETA. Nothing exciting.
