It's an expression from Sex and the City that defines the behaviors we do when we are in the privacy of our own homes and away from prying eyes. Carrie Bradshaw's was that she liked to make a stack of Saltines, put grape jelly on them, and eat them standing up in the kitchen reading fashion magazines. Basically, what do you like to do when your SO is gone and you are completely alone to do whatever you would like free of judgement?

I like to put on ridiculous face masks, eat gallons of popcorn, open a bottle of wine, and watch chick flicks like Bridget Jones's Diary.

Taking a bath, reading some magazines and drinking wine. If I get crazy I'll order take out and go to bed at like 7:30 lol.

Eating nonsense for dinner (like frozen yogurt or kiddie cereal), and watching old cheesy rom-coms that I've seen a million times (sometimes I substitute weird documentaries for the rom-coms).

I clean and do laundry while watching all the tv shows DH has given up on. I also eat all the candy, make mug cakes and sometimes I sew. Lol. I am WILD.

Oh! I also turn all of the lights off in the apartment when I go to bed. My husband likes to have a light on in the hallway, but I like it pitch black when I sleep.

Clean, drink wine, catch up on my shows since the tv isn’t being dominated by sports, and/or watch cheesy rom coms. Sounds like a lot of us are pretty similar

@chichiphin What are YH's most hated shows you watch? MH hates anything to do with the Kardashians and hates "all the yelling" in Real Housewives episodes.

I like to turn the music up really loudly and dance around the kitchen, usually while drinking wine post-trashy shows and pre-bath

I use the time away for DH to watch the reality tv shows I know he would hate ...AKA Married at First Sight, 90 Day Fiance, or if The Bachelor has gone crazy with how many episodes they have a week then I'll watch it too but sometimes he'll watch The Bachelor/Bachelorette/BIP with me. I also order chinese takeout because he never wants to spend the money on takeout.

@kiki047 Why you no sew? It’s SO MUCH FUN! I make some pretty sweet things. My best to date: a penguin costume. lol!

@lillywonderland I need to learn to sew. My Nana was a seamstress (she passed about 10 years ago now) and MF's grandma was also a garment-maker. I know his aunt would teach me but she lives 3+ hours away and doesn't come into town very often. These are all excuses. Just like my excuse that I'm waiting for @harrierwife to teach me

My nana used to sew custom matching garments for my Barbies and my Breyer model horses. Gosh I wish I knew where that stuff was. I'm hoping it's in my closet at my Mom's house still.

Ugh I hate to admit this but I put on some early 2000's jams and dance like I'm some super legit dance team. Complete with body rolls and all. I'm blushing just typing this. Also, I sleep with no pants on. Hope there's never a fire.

@nomangos23 Oh I am totally there with you. I put on 90's boy bands/Usher and jam it out. While eating something that MH hates, like spaghetti or sushi and ice cream!

Dance parties to lots of 90s one-hit wonders and a lot of not leaving the house. DH is always like, "What have you been doing?" And sometimes answering "nothing" actually seems like a bit of an oversell. I am also a sort of closeted Baker and I'd rather bake when someone else isn't all up on my space in our tiny kitchen.

I look forward to sundays so i can have the house to myself.
I wake up early and play on my phone in bed for like an hour, get up and have a super unhealthy breakfast. Watch some trashy TV he doesn't like and usually go and grab a coffee. he gets confused when I go get coffee considering we have everything to make a coffee here haha its just the laziness in me. plus we don't have white chocolate cranberry scones here ! Lol.
If I'm alone in the evening, I'll make a snack or have pizza in the bathtub and watch Netflix on my ipad.

@nomangos23 Oh my gosh, YES! I want to be on your dance team! I 100% pretend that I'm Celine Dion singing to a packed stadium. I even pull out a hairbrush and sing into it. And bow. Sometimes there's an encore.

Oh! I also eat all of the food that makes me *ahem* a bit gassy. Hello, black beans!

And (good Lord, I'm on a roll) I will talk to myself in a British accent. I do NOT have a good British accent.

@elle-0409 omg I also talk to myself in a British or Aussie accent when I’m alone, hahaha. I’m told all my accents sound Indian so it’s even funnier when I catch myself doing it.

Mine is making really loud sounds when I stretch, yawn, or sigh, and then laugh at myself. Oh I also dance around in my underwear while singing into a hair brush pretending that I'm famous!
