OMG @sarac986 congratulations! so excited reading you makes me feel better because sometimes/ most of the times I don't feel pregnant either! and it scares me so much, ugh! I wish my clinic has early U/S too! like show me something to help me feel better and ease the wait! I'm 5w3d today. Congrats again girlfriend! @albrooks11 mine is not until next week (*eye rolls) 11/21 day before thanksgiving, I'm so scared! I don't know how I'm gonna survive this week. I don't even wanna go to my U/S. I wish they can just put me to sleep and when I i wake up my DH will tell me how it went, ugh! how are you doing? @jangcorrea29 how are you doing?
@babydust2507 I feel ya! I called and asked if they would move my u/s from the 26 to the 21st....they said that was fine. So I will be 6w5d for the u/s like you! I'm praying to see a hb that day!!
awwwwwwwwwwwww that's so awesome @albrooks11! good to have a buddy on every single step in this journey! i love it! I hope to have a HB too! what time is your appt? GL to you!
Well ladies I was right. Beta came back at 8. I still have to go for the second one tomorrow anyways. I had a feeling something was wrong when my spotting didn't stop (weirdly yesterday I didn't have any all day), and then when the lines got fainter I just knew it wasn't good. I'm going to take a break from all these boards while we figure out if I'll fly back to my other clinic or start fresh at one here. Thank you all so much for your support through the whole journey, and I hope you all have smooth progression from here!! Hopefully I don't see any of you on future boards come January/February 😉
@mkr_0128 again I'm so sorry my dear! sending all the love! and hope that your clinic will give you some good explanations and reassurance as how to proceed with your next transfer to make it work, so you can try again with more confidence
@mkr_0128 - I'm so sorry for your news! I hope you get some rest as your figure out what your next steps are.

Well ladies, I just saw some light pink spotting as I was wiping off while using the bathroom. i don't know what to think at this point, spotting never was a good sign for me. just called the office to try to move my app. Waiting on the nurse to call me back. I'm terrified!
so the nurse called me back. My appt has been moved to Monday instead and she said that's the earliest than can see me and check the HB. And to call again if it gets worse, so hopefully the spotting stops
@babydust2507 lurking around and saw your post. Don't freak out! Spotting is not always a bad thing, it is often very normal and could just be the little nugget snuggling in. Take it easy today and hopefully it was just a one time thing. Hoping Monday will reassure you that everything is going well
@babydust2507 did the spotting stop now ? There were several in our group who has sch and were spotting and spotting wasn’t a bad sign for anyone of them. I know it’s hard but try and find ways to calm yourself down until Monday
@bkatp thank you! it's still very light, like I don't see it in my liner but it's when I wipe off I see it. it's still light pink. I hope you're right, i hope my story will be the same too! I can't wait for Monday. hope I'll be able to stay calm till then, and that it will stop as well!
@babydust2507 How active are you? Up, walking around, working, doing chores? I had spotting throughout the first trimester (no SCH) and it generally occured when I was more active. Light pink on the toilet paper that doesn't turn into red or increase in amount is likely just fine! My nurse said there's lots of blood flow down there now to support the placenta and baby, and so a little spotting here and there is likely not a big deal. Usually just caused by irritation on the cervix.

@babydust2507 just chiming in with others... any spotting/blood is scary. i also had poor results with spotting in my second PG, but was totally surprised in this most recent PG. i had crazy amounts of blood/blood clots for a few days, but it turned out to be SCH. the blood clots can be pretty big, so although it's really jarring, it's probably still okay as long as you're not having severe cramping and that the clots aren't greyish. my doc said the early gestational sacs would be kinda grey/see through. how many days will you be MOnday? if in the early 6w, it could still be to early to see HB, but hopefully things are in the right place and they can identify possible SCH... and best case scenario, they can see HB. fx so hard for you... i know how nerve wracking the next few days will be. TAKE IT EASY!
I had my first U/S today. I’m exactly six weeks and we were able to see a HB it was amazing. Nurse said I have two sacks but one is really small so most likely empty. Still grateful for that one that stuck.
@babydust2507 I’ve had some spotting on and off, and the first time I definitely freaked out and called my nurse. It stopped on its own and I didn’t have any cramping with it, so she assured me it was fine. Are you having cramping with the spotting? Hopefully it’s nothing, but it’s always scary to see!
@babydust2507 I know spotting is terrifying but as others have said, there are a large number of very simple explanations for a little bit of spotting. If it's light it may just be the lil one snuggling in or a little irritation of the cervix. I was surprised to see here how even quite a lot of bleeding can be explained by a SCH. I know it's really scary and stressful, try to take it easy over the next few days

Thank you ladies for all your support! I really appreciate and it makes me fell better and brings my confidence back. @mbradfo2, yes I'm pretty active. I'm the kinda person that can't stay in place and always find something to do ('eye rolls) but I figured it won't hurt to continue my routine since the nurse said I can resume exercises but as long as i can maintain my breathing while doing it I should be ok. So that's why i thought me working around the house wouldn't hurt either but I did not resume exercises. do you think I shouldn't do nothing? it's hard for me o delegate tasks as i will never e satisfy unless the job is done by me do I have placenta yet? and I'm on PIO so what could irritate my cervix? @northbeach3 i do not have cramping and I will be 6W3d on Monday. I know like you said for some people early 6w is still pretty early for HB but I know I'll be terrified and disappointed if I don't. I told my DH I moved the appt to Monday but didn't give him the reason, I didn't want both of us to stress over it, especially if it;s just me being crazy. But today my boobs are not sore as they used to be, and my DH said the same thing as if we will be able to hear a HB with me moving the appt. my I don't mind going back for another U/S since I just had 2 betas, I don't know how the PG is progressing and that drives me nuts! Thank you @Bababatty, non I don't have any cramping. Thank you @roisis! yes, i'll try but this is going to be a long weekend! @knottiee829c congratulations on your great U/S and HB!
knottiee829c - isn't it incredible seeing the heartbeat!!! glad everything looked good.

@babydust2507 I was on PIO too and the nurse just said the cervix can still get irritated just from movement/activity and because there's so much blood in the area, you see little bits of spotting (whereas ordinarily you wouldn't have seen anything). The placenta is also growing into the wall of the womb so that's another area that can give you a bit of spotting here and there.
I also am a very type 1 active person so going to light activity during the first trimester to reduce spotting (and my anxiety associated with it) was difficult. I constantly complained to my nurse that I felt unproductive! She said I should just look at it as being productive in another way.
I wouldn't read too much into symptoms coming and going at this stage; true pregnancy symptoms don't really kick in until after 6 weeks or so. I was surprised how good I felt initially after my first two betas but by the time my 7 week ultrasound rolled around, I was sick as a dog, sore boobs and tired all of the time. And what is a symptom for you might not be a symptom for someone else, vice versa. I got horrible hot flashes and heartburn in the first tri, for example, while my morning sickness was mostly just isolated bouts of nausea without vomiting.
