Thirsty Thursday 11/8

I'm beyond thirsty - dehydrated? - for a day off. Right now I'm using my days off for interviews which feel just like work to me. Also thirsty for some donuts and junk food, and more sleep.

@marebear15 I was on an apple cider kick for a while but so with this cold weather has hot chocolate calling my name. Unfortunately I don't have any marshmallows at work  :'(

I would love to be able to spend a week just pampering myself. A massage and facial sound so good right now.

@brookert615 Yes! DH has been swamped with work lately, but I'd love to just grab a drink and fried appetizer at a pub on a weeknight. Just for fun. Without worrying about who is going to do the dishes when we get home.  :D

@minnek8 Right? And TBH dishes are the worst chore!  :D  (If you don't have a dishwasher that is lol)

@brookert615 I have a dishwasher and I still thinking washing dishes sucks  :D hurts my back to be hunched over. Bleh. DH grew up in a family where everything goes in the dishwasher even if care instructions say hand wash so if dishes pile up in the sink it's because I'm the only one that will do them! DH does help dry and put away when I ask him so he's helpful to some degree with that chore

Also, where are my Hart of Dixie fans at?

@kiki047 Basically what you said. Except maybe give me all the pineapple and POG juice in the world because...I’m not allergic and it’s delicious.

@heml I'm so jealous! I lived in Orlando for a year and never got to go see the new Gringotts park they opened because I was broke. Now Disney I spent plenty of time at since I got in for free.

@chichiphin and @inthewoods23 I always feel like I'm on vacation when I have a really good margarita.  The Mexican place near us that we used to go to all the time closed 2 years ago.  I miss their mango-ritas and salsa so much! 😭

    Edit because punctuation is hard.

@kels0091 where are these from? There's a restaurant in Milwaukee that has a bloody Mary topped with a WHOLE CHICKEN. Costs an arm and a leg, but I hear it's delicious.

@kels0091 those drinks are monstrous!  I wouldn't even know WHERE to start consuming something like that.  FFC: I've never had a Bloody Mary in my whole life.  I think I assume they taste like cold tomato soup and that's why I've never wanted to try one.
  • Options
@emeraldduchess they DO taste like cold tomato soup. UO: I don't like bloody marys. They're like instant heartburn. But I do love vodka, so I feel sad that I don't enjoy them.
  • Options
@riff323 I also get heartburn just looking at them however if I'm sober enough to remember to request it, pickle juice added takes away the heartburn instantly! Maybe worth a shot sometime if you're feeling adventurous
