@cass06_07 I asked my OB what would happen in case I need a C section since my placenta will be pretty much exactly where they need to make the incision. He said there's a risk of bleeding, but not to worry because they can deal with it. If (and it's a big if) excessive bleeding happens, you'll probably need a transfusion. He didn't even mention hysterectomy being a possible outcome, so I'm sure that's pretty rare.

@cass06_07 like @okayestmom12 said that is the absolute worst case scenario and very rare. They would do anything they can to avoid that. This is why it’s good to stay off google bc you always end up reading worst case rare scary scenarios and get worried and stressed for no reason. Stick with what your provider says and ask them the questions, not google.
Sending good vibes that your placenta keeps moving on up!
Sitting at the office waiting on the fetal echo. Not sure if I am over tired, nauseous or antsy. Little bit is quiet this AM so that has me nervous. Second day, not on a row, that he has been calm. Trying not to worry. Everytime I get less sleep I feel worse. So I am sure that isn't helping.
@hnbergeron My LO was super chill all weekend. Turned into a ninja on Monday. Still freaks me out when she gets quiet though. Hang in there! Update us when you can!
@hnbergeron I've got a calm baby today, too. It happens every few days, and as soon as I get to the point of being really worried, then he throws a little dance party. Definitely plays mind games! I'm hoping you have a positive appointment today! Keep us posted, please!
I think it was a good appt. Doc said no concerns but he also couldn't see any small vessels?? But unless any other issues pop up, nothing to be concerned about. It was kind of a good thing he was quiet because they got it all done in the hour rather than the 2 they planned. And he is more active now so I can breath. It is now nap time.
I also have days where baby is quiet. I just think of them as rest days and then she is back at it again for several days! @hnbergeron hope your appt goes great!
