@drabong88 The antenatal center I go to has 4D scans done for me when I go in for my regular scans! You most def can’t tell from looking at the face alone. This baby boy looked just like his sister when looking at his face alone (& my giant placenta half covering his face - thanks anterior placenta lol).
@drabong88 I've had one with each of my pregnancies. Do it! You won't regret it. It's so amazing to watch them moving around in there. I noticed both of the girls make the same movements in and out of the womb. You definitely can't tell gender in a babies face, especially in the 3d ultrasound. It does make the face seem a little fatter than it is and the nose will definitely look bigger on the ultrasound. I paid for the first 2 but this pregnancy I go to the perinatal Dr and he does 3d for bits of the appointment.
Add me to the terrible sleep list! It's not even that I'm uncomfortable. I wake up every two hours to pee and then DH is snoring which makes it impossible to fall back asleep.

I’m so glad that DH’s family has learned to start asking me when we can visit instead of him. SIL texted me today and asked if we could come down on 12/1 to take family pictures with her grandparents (we live 2.5-3 hours away).
DH would have looked at the calendar, saw that we had no plans, and told her it was fine. I realized that 12/1 is the week after Thanksgiving, which means we would have to travel 2 weekends on a row. No thanks. We worked out another date that would be better.
That’s my little happy of the day because it saved an argument between me and DH

on the converse of that, @saltedcaramel518, my sister informed me (after I asked about Thanksgiving) that she's throwing a baby shower THE DAY AFTER MY OTHER BABY SHOWER. "Since mom would already be in town". My parents live three hours away and are retired. (insert eyeroll). I'm just annoyed that she didn't even ask me if that was ok.
And flu shot done. Our office has a company come in every year so I was able to go down and get it and so will my husband. Now I just have to schedule a time for the kids with their doctor.
FFWC: We had an office lunch today, and there was a dessert tray. I'm not normally excessive with sweets, but I've had an obscene number of the mini brownies. My glucose test is Friday. Oops.
Thanks for the advice guys I think I'm gonna schedule one! @AliKay20 I definitely had some mcdonalds chicken nuggets and fries today after my doctors appointment and it was delicious. I may or may not have eaten most of it in the car while driving home...oops.

I accepted an offer for a new job, but I don't have a start date - could be soon, could be in several weeks. It makes things pretty awkward since I don't want to make it general knowledge I am leaving until I have a start date. My boss knows, that's about it.
I was called honey today in that condescending tone that grates on my nerves. The person was arguing with me telling me how the company I work for and their policies are wrong.
Since I actually work for the company and I know the policies, I explained why they were in fact not wrong and she just had to deal with that. I had to go calm down and get candy after that call.
Finally got some baby stuff done and feeling more like its really happening. Aside from painting their room, we've done nothing cause we're planning to move so I spent Sunday and Monday washing, organizing and putting away all NB and 3mo baby clothes and washing all the blankets and bibs too. Dresser is full, hospital bag is packed and I'm done all thats getting done for now!
Last night it felt like someone was using my uterus to play the accordion. I woke up to being flexed out sideways, then brought back in... Again and again. I put my hands on my belly and on one side could feel something hard and round pushing out, so either head or bum, and I'm not sure what I was feeling on the other side... Then once baby was done doing whatever the heck, it felt like a foot was being pushed right out the front of my belly! I couldn't trace the shape or anything, but it was this tiny, hard little nub pushing right out. Weirdest freaking feeling yet in this pregnancy!
@leighbrek these babies are crazy, aren't they?? It always freaked me out when people would post videos where you could see an outline of a hand or foot because I've never had anything close to that happen.
I passed my 3 hour GTT!! I'm going to try harder to cut down on refined carbs/sweets and exercise more anyways but its nice to have one less thing to worry about! I have a pretty strong family history of diabetes so it's a pleasant surprise!
We got out crib put together last night and I'm having all the mom guilt. When we got pregnant with DS it was a surprise and we were not ready financially. He has an inexpensive crib that wasn't all that great of quality. To be fair, I would have never paid full price for the crib we got for LG, we got it a few days before Toys R Us closed so we paid 1/3 of the price, but it's SO nice and heavy duty and we'll keep it to make it into a full bed. Just, the feels man.
I watched this week’s episode of This is Us last night. I got super emotional thinking about about DS being a big brother and taking care of his little brother. All the feels.

ah, @molosmiles this season is killing me. Kate's life reflects all the things I've been through to have kids and it has broken me down completely watching it play out on screen. It's actually made my family feel pretty bad too because some of their reactions were similar to Kate's family and I think seeing it from the outside looking in is eye opening.

In third tri with DD, she would stick her little bum out, and I would rub it, and she would push it out harder. She loved me rubbing/patting her bum as a newborn too, so I’d call her “tush tush”.

We ordered a sleeper chair to put in the nursery so that we still have a place for our moms to sleep when they visit. The delivery company was supposed to come from 10-2 yesterday. Didn’t call. Didn’t show. Then today they gave us another 10-2 window. Didn’t show. DH called and they told us it would be here by 5. It’s 6pm. No chair. I am boiling over with rage. DH has had to stay home two days now to wait for this GD piece of furniture. And we have no recourse! Delivery companies are scum of the earth.
@AliKay20@bradleysmommy28 Kate has definitely made me tear up but what got me was Randall. The comment about not passing on a piece of their father cut him so deep and he's the most like their father. It just got me for some reason.

I'm so super annoyed with my SIL right now. When she had her son 2 years ago, we lent her a bunch of baby stuff because it was unexpected and she didn't have a lot of money to spend on the stuff that you don't use for too long which we had just sitting in the attic (bath tub, 2 rock n' plays, car seat with bases, etc.). She gave me the bath tub back without the infant insert b/c she can't find it so I had to get a new one, she gave me a rock n' play - not even the one of the ones we lent her - without the fabric cover and isn't sure what other stuff she has to give us back because she moved about 4 months ago and has stuff in storage. My plan is to have the baby sleep in the rock n' play for a few months (same thing we did w/ DS) but now I don't have one because she's always too busy to look through her stuff and storage. Would it be wrong to completely lose my crap on her at this point OR make DH (who is her step-brother) go to her house and refuse to leave until she looks through stuff??? Also, a large part of the annoyance is because my baby shower is over so had I known I'd have to buy another, I would have put it on my registry.
I'm starting to panic a little because I'm having a bunch of people over for H's birthday tomorrow and I feel totally unprepared. I'm just going to order some pizzas for dinner, but does anyone have any easy snack/app recipes to feed a crowd? Preferably vegetarian. Old me would have started cooking/baking cleaning like two weeks ago but pregnant me has just been coming home, eating cereal for dinner, and going to bed.
@kaf1788 Do you have a bread maker? I can send you an easy dough recipe that will rise to make a giant bread bowl. Pair that with a simple dill dip, and Bob's your uncle. You could do cream cheese wontons - quick and easy.
@bradleysmommy28 I would be so upset. Do you think she may have gotten rid of it? I would hope she would have told you so you could go out and get new stuff. You or your husband definitely need to talk to her and schedule a time to go look for the stuff. You shouldn't have to stress over this.
