since you ladies are so levelheaded and give good advice....
so you can picture the setup:
we live in a small old house on a corner lot. we are on a fairly busy street. we have 2 "true" bedrooms and two other rooms.
-one bedroom on the back of the house over the cellar, so the windows are second story.
-the other is on the front corner of the house, with one set of windows ground level on the busy street and another window a little higher on a smaller street. currently guest room.
-the third room, the nursery, is small, has 7 foot ceilings, no closet, and the laundry closet.
-the fouth is dh's office and is part of the detached garage.
right now, dd is in the nursery and we use the bigger back bedroom. we're started to think about marlee's "big girl" room and hoping we'll have a baby to put in the nursery soon. i don't think i like the idea of putting kids in the front bedroom. the ground level windows freak me out. but it's smaller, and would be a very tight squeeze for our furniture. we'd also have to repaint both bedrooms if we make the switch.
am i over-reacting about the front bedroom? would you put your kids in it? any alternative suggestions given our interesting layout?
