I wasn't inspired to announce anywhere virtual until this week, when I finally am very obviously pregnant, and it just felt like, hey world check me out! I'm only on IG and so it will just be some distant friends I have not gotten to finding out this way for the first time, but mine's funny. I just posted two happy pics of my toddler in a "soon to be big brother" shirt that has a big Dino and a little Dino, and then a video in which he's actually walking a dinosaur he got for his bday (total coincidence), and I ask him on the video whether he's excited about getting a baby brother, and he WAILS "NOOOO NO NO NOOOOOOO." It's g'damn hilarious.
Hi Ladies- I am thinking I am one of the last to "announce" publicly (for those that are posting anything). But after our journey, I just wasn't comfortable sharing on facebook and to our extended family until we got a good anatomy scan (which we did on Friday!)
I am terrified to share this on here and especially on facebook, but I make a promise to myself that if we ever got our miracle, I would share our story to raise awareness and help others struggling know that they aren't alone. It took us 3 years to conceive, multiples IVFs and multiple egg donors to get to this point. We started trying at 27, so never did we expect that we would find ourselves on this path.

Together since 2006, Married June 2013 and TTC since August 2015 Diagnosis: Mild Endo, DOR (AMH of 1.5), Poor Quality Eggs/embryos, Displaced Window of Implantation (ERA Post Receptive) March-May 2016: 1 TI and 2 IUIs- BFN June 2016- Laproscopy- found/removed mild endo and confirmed only 1 normal healthy ovary. August 2016- IVF #1 with Antagonist Protocol- Cancelled (2 lead follies), converted to IUI- BFN Oct-Nov 2016- IVF #2 with Estrogen Priming Micro Lupron Protocol, 2 eggs retrieved, day 3 transfer of 1- BFN January 2017- New RE, IVF#3 with Estrogen Priming Antagonist Protocol, 12 eggs, 8 mature, 6 fertilized, 2 day 5 early blasts transferred (none to freeze ), BFN May 2017- Sept 2017- Starting Donor Egg process! @JamieH2000 omg that video was amazing! So well done and it had me teary eyed at so many moments! I cannot believe what you went through and how strong you and your husband stayed through out that whole long and painful process. I just can’t even imagine. I feel like giving you a big hug! I’m so glad you finally have a successful pregnancy, you deserve this so much!! Also loved the scene at the end with the ice cream haha!
I’d like to share this video with my friend’s daughter. She just did her second round of egg donation. I don’t know how open her processes have been but I’m sure she’d love to see how amazing what she’s been doing is.
Oh @JamieH2000 what a beautiful video! I'm always happy when people become pregnant, but extra happy for people who have struggled with losses and/or infertility for a long time. I can't even begin to understand what you and your husband went through, you guys are so strong and SO deserving of your little boy! And it's fantastic that you're being so open about every detail of your process, it'll definitely help people who are currently struggling.
