@disneybaby84 Man, that sucks. Let us know how your appointment with the high risk doctor goes. I'm hoping that all turns out okay! For lower back pain, I've found that some simple yoga stretches like cat/cow work really well (not sure if that's the technical term for it). Here's a nice list from Greatist of good yoga poses for prenatal pains. I'm super inflexible, always have been, and yoga is a real struggle for me (and really entertaining for H to watch LOL). But even still, it helped me with the severe hip pain that I had a few weeks ago, to the point that it's now completely gone!
My joints have been super noisy these last few days. I vaguely suspect it's because I'm sleeping better and not moving around so much at night. It was a touch embarassing in yoga yesterday!
Baby doesn't seem to kick much at work (Im low/anterior also).. but when I get home I get the reminder that they're in there, 22+4 today. On the weekend I was feeling a lot more, I think it's because I was sprawled out on the couch and not sitting at a desk.
@disneybaby84 sorry to hear that you are dealing with extra stress and doc visits during an already stressful time. Let us know how the new doc visit goes.
Baby's already making a liar of me. Been feeling kicks pretty consistently today even though Im at my desk. I suspect it may be in increased water I've been drinking today?
This little one is contributing to my bad posture. If I sit at my desk the way I should she kicks the daylights out of my bladder and I have to pee every 10 minutes. If I recline she's happy and takes naps. And my back pays for it!
I feel for all you mommas still having morning sickness- that is so rough! I hope it passes soon.
Ive been having random bouts of being queasy again the last week. Annoying but mild. Tight stomach muscles and lots of pressure. Finding it hard to get comfortable to sleep because if I lay on my back it feels like my stomach is getting stretched. I hate sleeping on my side. Boobs are big (better than my post nursing flat pancakes I had though!)
I started seeing a chiro and my back/hips already feel SO much better. I highly recommend it!
@ohsunnydays thanks for the tip! I will check it out.
I feel like I will be giving birth to a very hairy kickboxer. He jas wriggled and moved today loke crazy. Good I know but slightly annpying to me when he finds an organ to kick!
Early this morning he was quiet. A coworker came and put her hand on my stomach(uninvited btw!!!) And was so excited moved. I didn't have the heart to tell her it was just gas...
Well shit. I thought I was done with spotting mid-first tri, but I’m having some beige discharge today. Anyone else had minor spotting this late in the game? It’s not caused by sex or vag exam (haven’t had either in a while). Thankfully I can feel baby moving around in there a lot.
Wondering if I should call the OB office, but my AS is tomorrow and they probably wouldn’t be able to fit me in for a US before then anyway. I guess I’ll just wait and see what happens today. Ugh why is this happening though? I just want to not have to worry about stuff like this, no fair!

@grebretso This is going to sound dumb, but are you sure you don't have a UTI? I had brown spotting on my pantyliner a few weeks ago, thought it was from my vagina, but it turned out to be from my urethra instead. I felt really stupid that I didn't notice the different location of the spotting when the OB told me that. If it's not that, I wonder if it's leftover blood that was just hanging out somewhere from your bleeding in the first tri. You could call today just to let the OB know, and that way they can make sure to check on that for you tomorrow. They might do a little more thorough of an exam in that case (mine did a vaginal ultrasound at the end of the AS just to make sure my cervix was long and closed).
@hannahbananas11 Not dumb at all! But no, it’s definitely from my vagina. It’s my (tmi) regular gloopy white cm with tinges of light brown mixed in, if it was from the urethra it would be more fluid. If I have more I’ll call, if not I’ll just mention it while I’m there tomorrow.

@grebretso there's no point in using "tmi" on this board. I'm glad you're feeling LO move around, that's a good sign! I hope you get some explanation from the OB tomorrow, and that tomorrow comes quickly so that you don't have to stress about it for too long!
@hannahbananas11 Haha, you’re right! We’re all oversharers here.
Thanks for the suggestions too, forgot to say that in my last post! Definitely really happy to be feeling all those kicks today (seriously it’s been non stop since yesterday afternoon, when does this kid sleep?!).
Oh yeah and also, I went off Unisom again two days ago and I already puked once today. I think my body just never got the memo it’s supposed to be second tri! Maybe that’s why I’m spotting too. Hrumph.

@grebretso definitely check with your doctor, but perhaps it is some sort of infection? I have not been able to shake the bacterial vaginosis that my doctor diagnosed over a month ago which just manifests as more/different discharge (sometimes yellow/beige, sometimes more like grey/green - talk about tmi!). I took two courses of oral antibiotics and have just started on some gel that is applied vaginally. Hopefully the gel will do the trick...fingers crossed that you don't have anything and it's just random.
@eggsandwich2019 That could be it. Haven’t had any weird colors besides beige, but I guess it can look different from person to person! Thanks!
Havent had any more spotting so far, so hopefully it was just a weird one-off. I’m glad it happened right before my appt too. I’m not that worried anymore, trying to remind myself of all the spotting and bleeding I had in first tri that they never found a cause for, and baby was still doing perfectly fine!

@kayjay44 I'm wondering if that's what's bothering me now. I'm having to walk the property at my work and walk up some stairs and that movement hurts at the top of my legs I guess near the pelvic bone. It feels like I'm super sore but I haven't done anything. Thank goodness my house is a ranch and I don't have to do this at home also.
I feel like i'm the only person that hasn't felt baby kick or anything? A while back thought maybe i felt the butterflies, but it seems to be that everyone is constantly feeling these things, i'm getting alot of anxiety about this - honestly...nothing! Doc has no concerns and there is defo a heart beat, etc. He told me he'd be surprised if i felt anything for another 3 weeks. I'm 21 weeks now.
@bhou don't worry, I haven't felt the baby kick either (I'm 20 weeks tomorrow)- I had the same thing as you, possibly some movement a little while back but certainly not consistent (and also, was it gas? Maybe). I think we just have to be patient!
@kayjay44 it’s the WORST. Occasionally I think “oh I’m so far along, I can’t possibly still be nauseous without this” and I am always wrong. No more. Sticking to those little pills till this baby is out of me.
Oh and I peed myself last time I puked, so that was fun! At work, of course. Luckily it was only a little and didn’t go past my liner, but I’m still feeling super glamorous right now.

The compression socks are on full force today- but man are they hard to wear under skinny jeans (basically the unofficial pant of my workplace-those and leggings.).
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
@bhou The movements that I'm feeling are by no means frequent. More like once or twice per day right now, and the movement is very slight. I wish I felt movement more often. You'll get to feel it soon, I bet!
@bhou, @eggsandwich2019 and @hannahbananas11- Glad to know I am not the only one. I am a FTM and haven't felt any movement for sure. It seems people say you will KNOW when its the baby, so I am assuming anything I may think is movement is probably still gas. I am only 20+1 today, but anxiously awaiting my anatomy scan tomorrow. I do have a home doppler, so i know there is a HB. Not sure where my placenta is, but wouldn't be surprised if its anterior since I don't feel anything.
@grebresto- I threw up on Wed morning too It seems to be at least once a week for me and nausea almost everyone morning. I ran out diclegis, but don't feel much worse than I did while I was on it. I'm worried if the nausea isn't gone by 20 weeks, its probably going to stick around for the rest of the time?

Thanks @hannahbananas11 & @eggsandwich2019 these boards are kind of freaking me out as maybe it just feels like i'm the only one that just has questionable GAS - that maybe could be a baby? But nothing where i'm like...YES. definitely. Maybe hopefully soon.
@bhou- I can go almost a whole day without feeling much and I am 21 weeks plus 3. I do have an anterior placenta but it is weird and nervous making for me too. I try to remember my pregnancy with DS and how at the end I was like a punching bag and appreciate this calm before the storm but that's not how anxiety works, right?!
