@becks_726 emotion central over here too! Last week I legitimately cried, for almost ten minutes, not because I stubbed my toe and it hurt, but because 2.5yo DD kissed it for me, and “she’s so sweet and compassionate! When did she go from baby to caring about my feelings?” Obviously, deserving of ten minutes of tears while I sat on the floor too overwhelmed to get up.
I didn’t have this last time!! I’m so not used to it. I’m NOT a crier typically.
Not sure if this technically counts as a symptom but I am nesting like a mofo. Scrubbed and sanitized all the window sills last night. Today at work I'm cloroxing and reorganizing all my drawers and my little storage closet. This is my favorite part of being pregnant.
I'm wanting to nest but we don't get our new house for another 2weeks and even then it'll be a bit before were even remotely unpacked, given the limited time we have to do it without a 13mo old causing havoc. So I'm cranky bc I cant be doing anything project wise...I just want to hack an ikea dresser damnit!

I’m doing the opposite of nesting. My apartment has gone to hell. There’s a dead plant with leaves all around it on the floor and it’s been like that for weeks. Maybe I’ll get rid of it today. Maybe.

@smallbutmighty77 we're moving this week! Totally understand the limited time thing - we can't get anything accomplished with our 18mo running around. I hung up baby clothes last night and he ripped them all down off the hangers when I went to pee. Not. Cool. So really the only time we can get anything unpacked is when he's asleep
I'm half-assed nesting right now. I rearranged our entire bedroom yesterday to make room for the crib and a little nursery (we're in a one-bedroom apartment until next summer), and I swept and mopped the floors. But I haven't folded laundry in a week and a half, and we're currently out of forks because I've not loaded the dishwasher. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Editing to say that H is also anti-nesting (always has been). He's more in the "I'll clean things when absolutely necessary but no sooner" camp, which happens to be my stance on most things right now, too. Basically we're in a college dorm, it appears.
I'm throwing EVERYTHING away. Haven't worn this in 3 months? Out. Never use this appliance? Goodbye. We live in a 1 br. apartment but hoping to move in January, so I'd rather purge now before I'm huge. Is that considered nesting?
Mentioned this in another thread but holy the hip/lower back pain. Started around 14 weeks and seems to have no correlation to amount of exercise/stretching I do. I have a body pillow, but kick it out of the bed as soon as I fall asleep lol. Going to try a combo of chiro/physio/massage in the next few weeks and see if that helps because the soreness is waking me up at night.
@mindgrapes08 we love to purge! We have plenty of square footage, but very little storage, so we had to adapt as well. Monthly runs to the donation center feel great lol
@BourbonBiscuits not sure what was in the air last night but I head many a toddler being out of hand haha. I noticed today on my calendar that it is a 3rd quarter moon so perhaps that is the reason they've all gone apeshit. My DS was FULL ON RIOT last night.
I'm semi-nesting as well after this past weekend where we arranged the nursery and I cleaned out my closet. Next on my list is DS's clothes, organizing HIS closet, getting baby clothes in order, and purging of toys. DS birthday is October 23rd and Christmas is coming...I swear to GOD the amount of toys is just insane in my house. And mostly little, itty bitty things like legos and matchbox cars. He gets a new car/truck from my mom like once a week...STOP THE INSANITY!
Starting to feel kicks and punches above my bellybutton this week. Also after being gone for 5 days my boys claim my bump is bigger than when I left! Also the lower back pain is getting bad.
Also semi nesting. I alwaysbhave nesting intentions but stop after a bit because I’m tored and back pain. Ive washed all DD baby clothes and started ha ging stuff up in the nursery but theres still pilessss of clothes. I want to so badly get to it... But also the couch is too comfy.
That being said. Back pain is an asshole. The chiropractor works wonders as does a good massage but I havent had time to book anything
The baby seems to be kicking with a little less force today, and I didn't feel him move as much last night as I have previous nights. I'm only 20 weeks, and I have an anterior placenta, so I'm guessing he's just changed positions to where I can't feel his movements as strongly right now. I still feel slight movement, but it bothers me to not have every movement be obvious yet. And I'm sure I'll soon be bothered by how obvious every movement is. It's going to be a long 20 weeks to delivery, isn't it? LOL
Edit: Aaaaaand less than a minute after posting that, baby gave a forceful kick. As if he's saying "NOTICE ME, MOM!". Good lord, child.
@kayjay44 That's the worst game ever - I am taking cranberry pills at random because I am so paranoid about getting a UTI. I have recurrent BV which is gross, but more importantly is making me worried for the baby - i am not into taking so many (non-working) antibiotics and I am told there might be a correlation between BV and pre-term labor. But then, there seems to be a correlation between most things and pre-term labor so trying to remain chill. Unrelated, I wish I would feel this little dude kick, I'm so jealous of the rest of you!
@eggsandwich2019- I'm not feeling much either- super super occasionally get a serious punch or even just a squirrel feeling- which I think is the whole anterior placenta thing. Boohoo

Anterior placenta here, too. I feel probably two or three hard kicks each day if I'm paying attention, and the same weird squirrel feeling that you talk about maybe once per day (again, if I pay attention). I only started to feel movement after the OB pointed out exactly where the baby was situated, so that I knew where to focus my attention (I thought the baby was much lower in my pelvis than it is). Sadly for us, I read that anterior placentas can also make it more difficult for H to feel the baby kick once the baby is bigger, since the placenta acts as a buffer between Baby and our hands. Womp womp.
@hannahbananas11 You're describing exactly the amount of movements I'm feeling, and I also have an anterior placenta. Early last week there were a couple days when I felt LOTS of movement though, so I think baby must have shifted slightly in there. Impatiently waiting for the kiddo to grow stronger! I really want H to feel what I feel!

@sjnsjnsjn@hannahbananas11 I don't even have the excuse of an anterior placenta - but maybe I have felt some flutters? or perhaps gas? I don't know! Ah well, I'm sure I will feel something soon, I heard him moving all over the place on the doppler today at the doctor's office...
I'm so out of breath all the time. I took out the trash and lugged the bin to the end of the driveway and my face is bright red. I am actually sweating. why is pregnancy so glamorous??

lower back pain, stupid anterior placenta, and now my doctor says the baby’s head is measuring small and I go to see the high risk doctor to check it out.
Guys! I got like 5 hours of sleep last night! Not in a row or anything because that’d be crazy, but several stretches over an hour! I feel like a new person. Too bad I know it won’t happen again for a while.

But hello sciatica pain. Can't hardly walk. My feet and hands started swelling a bit. Seems too early!
And my skin hates me. Acne acne acne galore, rashes and dry skin. Cerave is helping a bit but not as much before.
