1) How far along are you? 27 + 1

2) Any appointment updates? Today I did my GD test, and it wasn't terrible. Didn't feel horrible afterward so I'm hoping that's a good sign. No clue when I'll be getting my results. No actual appointments for 2 weeks I think.

3) RRQDD? SO picked up our rings today from the jeweler and I haven't seen them...I don't know why he's hiding them from me but it's driving me crazy!!!

4) GTKY: If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make? Be nice? Drive better? Don't say stupid things? Lol some basic common sense life skills!

30 + 4!

2) Any appointment updates?
Regular check-up tomorrow with the OB. Pretty routine stuff at this point.

3) RRQDD?
Actually looking forward to staying busy the next several weekends. We have a block party with our court this Saturday. Next weekend we'll be going down to Letchworth with the in-laws for the long weekend and their big craft show, and the following weekend is our maternity shoot. The weekend after that is the baby shower, and then we have our Halloween pumpkin carving party the last weekend in October! I feel like November will be here before I know it!

4) GTKY: If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?
Be a decent human being to everyone and everything.

@mag1cbeli3ver ahhh i wanna go to letchworth! H and I were talking about going last weekend but decided to give it a little time and let the leaves change. You'll have to let me know how they are when you're there!

Had my first 2 weeker on monday, it was fine.

Nah, just plowing along. Super long and busy work day and I'd much rather be doing non work stuff!

2) Any appointment updates?
Nothing special, had my first two-week appointment on Monday, and I'm just excited to hear that FHR more often.

3) RRQDD?
Nothing ground breaking here. DH will be back home in a few days and I haven't done any of the cleaning / tidying up I thought I would. So I guess I should maybe do some. Man, living in a tiny house is really hard for me since I can't spread anything out to really clean and organize. At least the dogs are happy - they're always in good moods and don't care about organization.

4) GTKY: If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?
"Follow traffic rules all of the time, no exceptions"
Nothing pisses me off more than when I am walking around the neighborhood and almost get run over because some asshole didn't obey the stop sign. Or when folks almost hit me because they decided to go straight through an intersection from the right turn only lane. *shudder* And blinkers - sweet baby jesus - signal if you're turning it's easy and free! Don't get me started on multi-lane roundabouts.

@echo-charlietango Multi-lane roundabouts - ahhhhhhhhh!! We have two by our house so I literally drive through one everyday. People are sooooooo bad at entering the outside lane, moving into the inside lane, and then moving back out to the outside lane. It drives me absolutely crazy!!!!!!

Rant ish? Hmm... I should be nesting but I feel so tired. Have been passing out around 9 and then waking up at 5 for some reason. Cramps are coming more frequently and wakes me up couple times at night.

4) GTKY: If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?
If there are small things you can do to make other people's lives easier - Do it.

@mag1cbeli3ver @morgantu @echo-charlietango thank you! Very excited here too. Friday is the day! And I passed the GD test, so yay! Lots to celebrate! I'll be having a small glass of something bubbly and a delicious dessert this weekend

@mag1cbeli3ver being busy makes time fly. I'm kind of looking forward to the holiday season because I know that will make the last tri feel like nothing. But that also scares the crap out of me. Eeee! Have fun keeping busy, enjoy! And I 100% agree with your rule.

@morgantu boo work. At least the weekend is almost here!

@echo-charlietango I don't hate roundabouts, but multi lanes can get confusing and people have no idea how to use them. Heck, most people don't know how to use single lane roundabouts. My favorite is when people who have a yield entering the circle don't actually yield! But if navigated correctly, they can be efficient. Maybe an UO? lol

@hannelorre I'm so with you on being tired. I only worked 5 hours today (plus kickboxing), buy I've been ready for bed since like 8pm. My productivity seems to be limited to 3-4 hours per day. Sorry you aren't sleeping well. I'm in that club too, but not because of cramps. For me it's mostly reflux/indigestion/heartburn and surges of hormones that cause me to be unable to get back to sleep after I wake up to pee

Your rule is another I'm 100% on board with. Yes please.

My 28 week was last week and went fine other than failing the 1 hour glucose. I've written about it on other threads so I won't go into detail here, but my dr is letting me monitor my blood sugar until my next appointment (next Wed) instead of do the three-hour because I was kinda freaking out about it. So far I've done readings for 2.5 days and they have all been fine -- including ones after I indulged in some cookies and ice cream. It's nice to know that I don't have too much to worry about on that front.

3) RRQDD?

Rant: My computer is not up to some of the stuff I need to do for my grad work and it's making everything take forever. On a related note, but also because I've been struggling with motivation, I'm starting to get nervous I will not be able to finish my work this semester and will have to take incompletes, which wouldn't be the end of the world but I'd like to avoid it. 10 more weeks until my due date and until the semester is over. Must focus!

Rave: My advisor is getting me a better computer so I can do my RA work with that. I'm hoping it will make it easier to things since I'll be able to use my own (kinda crappy) computer to do my school work instead of trying to do both RA and school work on this piece of ****. It should be here tomorrow. So yay for that, I guess? I know it's awesome, I'm just having trouble mustering enthusiasm.

4) GTKY: If you could make one rule that everyone had to follow, what rule would you make?

I like @echo-charlietango's driving rule and would add that I wish people were less terrible highway drivers. Drive 5-10 over, maybe 15, stay out of the left lane unless you are passing, don't tailgate or weave in and out of traffic, and stop talking on your damn phones. It amazes me how badly people can drive. Though I must confess that when others are driving terribly I can drive a little aggressively, which I've been trying to work on.

Found out I'm gonna be and Aunty!!!! Older brother rang to tell me his girlfriend is pregnant super thrilled for him despite us all feeling like he did this because I was (long story short he threw a massive fit after I announced I was pregnant as it should have been him first etc ugh) I don't wanna be bitter I wanna be supportive and love my future niece/nephew

Just be kind to others not a hard thing imo

@echo-charlietango Im with you on living in a small space and having a hard time keeping things organized. I hate having no room for everything, which always makes my cabinets and drawers feel cluttered.

@hannelorre sorry about the more frequent cramps. I know it's just part of the joys as the baby continues to grow. Hope you get some relief though so you can sleep throughout the night

@kadeephd finding motivation to do school work is tough. It was really bad for me my last semester of college. The only way I think I got through it was making a task list and doing things little at a time.

@donnawicks congratulations on finding out your going to be an aunt!! Dealing with jealous relatives is never any fun though..

Not really. Everything seemed good last appointment, next one is Friday

Just can't believe it's already pretty much October. My husband and I will be celebrating our wedding anniversary in a couple weeks, which we decided to drive somewhere that's 13 hours away (part of me thinks it's a crazy idea since I will be 32 weeks pregnant), but it will be a nice little get away.

Now I just need to decide on an gift for my husband.

2. My doctor says my fundal height is measuring at 33cm so baby is looking to be big. 😅 But otherwise no issues.
3. I don't know what RRQDD stands for ... 😌
4. Hmm one rule. I guess it would be mean what you say and say what you mean. Lol.
