@Elephantasicpink I am so sorry for your loss. Β I think your perspective is wonderful though and I wish you the best of luck starting your family soon Β
Well ladies, it looks like I'm out as well it's been a rough weekend... *TWΒ Β I went in last Tuesday for my first ultrasound and I should have been about 8w2d and all we could see was the sac and the yolk but no baby (blighted ovum). The tech said I could be off with date's but I knew already, symptoms were receding and I had mild cramping. Friday night after wiping I saw pink which then quickly led to bleeding like a period and it's only been getting heavier and more clotted throughout the weekend. Last night I started passing larger clot's so I am just waiting for it to all end. I was really sad/traumatized after the ultrasound but I knew what was coming and in a way I am happy that my body was able to recognize this and start the process itself so quickly (I've read that it can take up to weeks sometimes for your body to notice). This is my first MC so I'm a bit shocked. The only thing I'm annoyed about is that my Dr's office still hasn't called me since my ultrasound last tuesday to talk about anything. Now it's me calling them to tell them what's going on but I feel like they should have reached out sooner. Anyway, I am hopping everything will pass soon so that my body can rest and we can TTC soon and give my DD a sibling. *TW
Good luck with all your pregnancies ladies! I look forward to seeing those of us who didn't make it this time in the upcoming birth month board's!
I had some brown spotting last night and a little more this morning I know brown isn't necessarily bad but I'm so scared it'll turn pink or red! I'm still having wicked symptoms (nausea, food aversions, heightened sense of smell, pulling/light cramping, RLP) and I had a really strong positive on my HPT yesterday but still... I worry so much. I won't get my beta until Thursday I wish they'd have started them today like a normal clinic would but other women using that doctor told me they're pretty strict about when they'll do blood work. The next 3 days are going to draaaaaaaaaag on.
I have not been spotting, but I have been cramping that I don't remember having with DD. I am 6w1d, and have been cramping all over, but stronger and sharper on my right side. Of course google scared the crap out of me thinking I am having an ectopic pregnancy. I am worried. It isn't constant, it only comes when I strain or stretch. I am hoping that its just my body adjusting to being pregnant.Β
@cikcikpolicnik Im so very sorry for you.Β You're right, it's a good thing that your body recognizes sooner rather than later.Β This early I think you won't have to wait the 3 months to try to conceive again. Im also really sorry about your doctor's office.Β This infuriates me! I feel like they abandoned you to deal with this on your own.Β At least a nurse or MA should have contacted you.Β Take care of yourself,Β and best of luck to your family.Β Β
@bazzie88 that sounds like round ligament pain to me and is very normal. It doesn't usually show up until later in pregnancy but I had it really early with my first. I'm not a doctor so definitely get checked out if you're worried, but I had terrible cramping around 5 weeks with my first and now I have a healthy 10 mo.
@bazzie88 Yes- cramping- even cramps that feel exactly like bad period cramps are totally normal. Dr Google is a scary guy- try not to use him- he will lead you astray a lot!
This is my first pregnancy. I started bleeding when I was 5w6d and got scared- no cramping though. Went in for an US the next evening to see my baby and hear it's HBπ The US tech said everything looked great and I was measuring at 6w1d and the HB was 104. The next day I experienced some bright red bleeding, only when I wiped, twice. Then it turned into some dark red spotting. Now I've been light bleeding or spotting ever since and I'm 7w5d today. It ranges from a dark reddish brown or brown. Not fully consistent throughout the day, but just when I think I'm in the clear, BAM, it starts back up againπ Still no cramping which is good and my boobs are still pretty sore. Midwife said it's best to wait it out, but I'm getting so sick of thisπ« I don't even bleed this long when I'm on my period! Anybody else experience long periods of spotting/bleeding?
I would, but I don't have a Dr or insurance (getting some soon) right now to go get one. I could sign up for a free one, but they won't be able to get me in for over a month now. The one I did end up getting was at an US place and only costed $75, but idk if it'd be that cheap my second time goingΒ My appt with my midwife is on the 10th, so as long as nothing major happens I'm just going to suck it up and wait it out and trust in God's plan for meπ
Good morning ladies! Last night after sex my husband noticed blood so I jumped up and I was bleeding. Not like a period but it didnβt stop. Cramping started and was constant until this morning. Now itβs just mild cramping and darker spotting. Iβm gonna call my ob and see if they can see me today. Iβm confused and nervous but hopeful. Iβll update later πΒ
Good afternoon! So I went to the ER yesterday and thereβs a sticky little baby in there with a heartbeat of 136 measuring 6w 2d so we are safe thus far. π
Glad to find this thread. Iβm very early only 4w6d but had been feeling very pregnant until Friday. Saturday started spotting turned into full period bleeding. Today still like a period but with a fair amount of clots. Cramping is not too bad but has been constant since yesterday. Iβve all but assumed itβs over but Iβm seeing my OB tomorrow. I had probably a chemical pregnancy two months ago as well.Β
Hi ladies. Unfortunately, I'm here to chime in. Saturday during brunch shift, I noticed a little pulling in my abdomen, so I checked and I was spotting, but it was brown and ever so slight. After my shift, I came home,Β kickes my feet up on the couch, and the spotting stopped within hours. Yesterday during brunch shift, I felt a slight wetness, so I checked again, and I had started spotting again. It was mostly brown with a little streak of red. I chalked it up to working 44 hours and coming down with a cold, so when I came home yesterday I immediately got some rest, and the spotting let up a lot but didn't stop. Now this morning, the spotting is still very slight in intensity, and I'm still not passing any tissue, but it has changed to red/pink.
I'm calling the OB today to see if they can give me some direction and get me in sooner. My first appointment isn't scheduled until 23 Oct, per them, and I'm about 7 weeks right now. I think that's a little far away considering my history of miscarriage, but who am I to say...
I really still feel pregnant. My boobs are super sore, and I'm very sensitive to smells (almost puked putting liners in the trash cans at work yesterday), still crave nothing but spice and pickled vegetables, and am super moody with the hubs. Most recently, I miscarried in April, and it was so much different than what I'm experiencing now. In April, I had shooting pain in my back, hips, and thighs leading up to the bleeding, and my symptoms had pretty much vanished. And once I started bleeding it was super heavy and full of clots. Even last October when I lost the baby, I had worse than period cramps and the flow was super heavy.
I hope for all of you experiencing spotting that everything is alright with your babies β‘

Sigh... Thursday I have an ultrasound.Β Drs just dont seem worried if the hcg goes up, the bleeding doesnt cover a pad and no intense pain.Β Β
Total limbo feeling for me too though
