Bump Bump Bump

I’ve seen some pictures online where women started showing as early as 10 weeks! So I have to ask...does anyone have a little bump yet?

Re: Bump Bump Bump

  • I do this time around. And I’m only 9 weeks. It’s small, but definitely there, and not bloat. Also know it’s real because I can’t sleep flat on my stomach anymore
  • Loading the player...
  • I wasn’t sure until yesterday, but yes. It’s very slight and I’m pretty sure I’m the only one who can see it, but it’s there! Can’t wait for it to pop out more.
  • 9w 3d here! When I press on my muffin top I can definitely feel the bump that pops out. Because I’m heavier with this one, I don’t suspect anyone will notice a bump until I’m around 14-16 weeks. Everyone probably just thinks I gained a few again  :D
  • I definitely have it, because it’s nearly impossible to sleep on my stomach, but I’m very overweight, so it’s not noticeable to anyone other than DH. When I was pregnant with DS, some people said they didn’t realize I was pregnant even at 7-8 months! I know I’m fat, but come on people, I’m not THAT fat!
  • I’m bloated as a MFer. This is kid number two. I’ve been trying to hide the bump
under a blazer because it’s uncomfrtabe to suck in constantly. I‘M not even 8 weeks yet!

  • I'm 11 weeks with my first and I noticed some change at 9 weeks. But I'm 5'2" and my start weight is 150 so I know to anyone else it would look like chub. My husband said he can see a little difference below my belly button just last night (11 & 2), but again, I'm sure I just look like I've gained a little weight. Which is true, I have put on a few pounds this trimester (But I'm eating healthy, I swear!).
  • I’m glad I’m not alone! I’m 9w4d and I feel like I can see a bump...but maybe it’s just bloat
  • Oops, got cut off. It is starting to feel like my lower stomach is getting firmer though, so that’s exciting!
  • I'll be 10 weeks this weekend....I've lost about 5lbs since getting KU, and yet none of my pants fit so I'm gonna say yes.

  • I've started to "round out" more in my belly. I had a few pounds to lose before I got pregnant so I have a little belly anyways. But it's becoming hard around my belly button and lower so I have been wearing leggings/maternity pants (I've been folding over the panel) so I'm more comfortable. I can still sleep on my stomach but just barely. I'm betting by next week (so 10 weeks for me), I won't be able to sleep on my stomach. I've also lost about 3-4 pounds since getting pregnant (I changed jobs and got my BFP on the first day of school. So I run after kids all day).
  • I don't, but I'm overweight already, so I don't expect to see a bump for quite awhile.  I really don't even notice bloat.  All my clothes fit the same however buttons on my jeans start to dig in after several hours of wearing them.

  • I think I do! But I’m pretty sure I’m th only one that notices. This is my first... and I’ve lost quite a bit of weight so far, but my clothes don’t fit. So that’s happening... haha
  • Count me in for a little bump at 8.5 weeks.  I'm tiny (definitely not rail thin but super short and basically no torso), so I showed pretty early last time, but right now I think I look how I did when I was 12 weeks previously.  If I didn't work from home and actually had to wear real clothes, I'd be in some trouble trying to hide this pregnancy much longer!  A few times recently I went out in a t-shirt and high waisted joggers and came home to realize I had accidentally tucked in my shirt at some point and was exposing a small but pretty clear and firm bump...whoops.

  • Yep I’m having my 3rd and my jeans were tight before I even got my BFP lol. Now I legit look 17 weeks and I’m only 9
  • Oh my oh my gosh, @h_skullington you look so cute!
  • I definitely feel bigger but I think it’s just the extra weight I had slowly becoming rounder right now.
    this is my backup acct.

  • Preeeeetty sure it’s all bloat & food baby 😂 haven’t been able to wear my uniform belt since I found out, and I’m pretty sure everyone at work probably just thinks I’m getting fat LOL.

  • I’m 7.5wks and while I definitely don’t have a true bump, I look like I’ve gained a bunch of weight around where one would be and my pants are so uncomfortable (though I’m only up 3ish lbs). I’m sure it’s bloat and uh gas, but I’m 5’1” so a little weight makes a big difference.
  • I'm 11 weeks and a STM, I've definitely got a small bump. I'm officially in stretchy clothes/maternity pants now.
  • I think I've started to notice a somewhat legit bump this week! I'm 10 weeks today. I've always struggled with some bloat from constipation but I'm fairly thin and this bump isnt just bloat anymore. It is bigger than that. And just a few days ago my boobs started getting BIG. And I am starting to see the veins in my stomach and boobs. This is my first and i didn't know about the veins. It's a little freaky.....!
  • @h_skullington sooo cute, that little bump omggg
  • @rennie1108 the veins happened to me first thing and I didn't know that was even a thing, it was super exciting though!
  • Really low under my belly button is pushing out and my pants or undies want to ride low or way high. I’m a bit overweight (ok, honesty time 205 at 5’4”) it’s a lot of leg muscle and a good amount of chub too. I am optimistic that I can hopefully maintain my weight throughout the first and scone trimester and turn some of that chub into baby. Haha. I’m basically supposed to gain 11lbs overal. So, I embrace the bump as it comes and hope to actually have a bump and not just a fat belly soon. :)
  • my fat started taking a preggo shape at about 10.5wks. I'm 11 today. I've been wearing maternity pants to work since about 7 b/c my regular slacks are very unforgiving. but I'm still trying to hide in non-maternity flowy blouses. I'm holding out on breaking out maternity tops until my appointment this friday.

it's so weird, my belly is firming up at the TOP versus the bottom. I think husband and I are unofficially team pink, so I'm kinda telling myself it's a sign that I'm carrying a girl. *shrug* who knows, though.
  • I do for sure. This is baby number two for me and I am petite (5'2, 113 pre-pregnancy) so I started showing around last week. It's very slight and I'm able to cover it with loose shirts, but anything clingy is a dead giveaway. I keep joking that my co-workers are speculating that I'm either pregnant or drinking heavily.

  • Ok I think I ‘popped’ today. I’m 10 weeks exactly, and I feel like I can’t suck in my gut at all anymore. I look like I ate 4 burritos for lunch, not cute 😂
  • Coworker asked me today, "Are you sure you're not further along? You look about 4 months or so."

I mean, I really won't know "for sure" until my ultrasound this week. But still-- why do people think it's ok to comment on a women's body just because she's pregnant?
  • @chrissdee, is she sure she shouldn't just keep her fucking thoughts about other people's body to herself? RUDE!! I'm sorry she said that to you >:-(
  • @batmama31 I'm trying not to take it too personally because this coworker has a long history of sticking her foot in her mouth and severely lacking tact. But still... come on lady, you know I was already fat before getting pregnant.
  • I'm getting one at 12 weeks that is now undeniable. 1st baby, but I'm 5'2". I was excited when DH agreed it was a baby bump and not a food baby, but then he ruined it by saying that I might be "popping so early because I haven't been going to the gym or doing core workouts as often." Insensitive! :'(
  • @loveanddatadriven he’s wrong! I was in the best shape of my life before I got pregnant, and I’m bumping much earlier this time around. It’s a second baby thing! Your ligaments and muscles are already stretched out and they know what they’re supposed to do this time around.
  • @professormama Aye, but it's my first. Maybe my ligaments and muscles "genetically" know what to do... Or maybe my frequent food babies over the years have prepared them.
  • No definite bump here. More of a blump. This is my third so i’m previously stretched.
  • I’m in 100% maternity bottoms now. Shorts, leggings, jeans, etc. I steal DH’s shorts for lounging around in. I’m definitely showing, but the bloat makes it REALLY pop and nothing I own is comfortable. I can’t wait until it’s a little more defined.

Haha oops. I thought you already had one for some reason. But none the less, every body is different. And yours is doing what it needs to! ❤️
