Yesss @orangecrush29! Smitten Kitchen has some excellent pumpkin fritters with sage butter, there's an olive oil pumpkin bread I make every fall, pumpkin pasta with sausage...ALL OF THE PUMPKIN.
@kadeephd's publication struggles reminded me: after spending another weekend polishing his paper up MH FINALLY SUBMITTED IT! HOORAAAAAAY! He can still go back in there and re-submit if he finds more errors, but it sounds like he's just relieved to be done with it and doesn't want to look at it anymore.
Today was a lazy Sunday here, but I did manage to make a platter of lasagna with greens and tomato sauce and package it up for the freezer. I also re-organized the deep freeze using some plastic bins I bought at Target. I need to buy a few more but it's already a lot less chaotic in there. And holy cow I actually have a lot of random stuff frozen that I should use up when I have "nothing for dinner".

AFM, I didn’t get much accomplished this weekend and am still very behind on my work. However, I am prepared for the first day of 3’s preschool...kinda.
Putting DD to bed tonight I had that overwhelming feeling of all the fleeting moments and then she requested “you are my sunshine” as her night time song. Let just say the lump in my throat won’t go away. That song was my Grandma’s and mine for as long as I can remember. My Grandma was my favorite person ever and she died 24 days before DD was born. My Grandma and DD are so similar. They squeal when they giggle, make everyone laugh till you cry, enjoy every meal like it’s the best one they every had. (I could go in for days about the comparisons) I can’t never fully mourn my Grandma because such a big part of her feels like she is still with me, through my DD. Here’s the crazy part of it all. My Grandpa (her husband) died just shy of two months before I was born. She always said I was what saved her life and I carried my Grandpa’s zest for life and sarcastic humor. Anyways, my point is when DD requested that song it was like a message from heaven that fleeting moments or not, it was all going to be okay!!
@hannelorre oh no!! I really hope you're able to get everything that's missing without any issues (whether replacements or originals). People do suck, I'm so sorry.

Took a Zumba class (my first ever) Friday night and it was so fun! Had a couple friends and their kids over for the Husker game yesterday. And went to the Broncos game today. It was SO HOT and my pale, white girl skin got roasted, but my Dad and I had a friggin blast. I’m now propped up in bed with a heating pad on my back, eating ice cream and just finished watching the Packers win. Good end to the day!

@hannelorre I had that happen a few weeks ago. A few days later, the person behind us with the same street number brought it over. Somehow she ended up with it. I hope you get it sorted out as painlessly as possible!
@hannelorre I'd definitely call the shipping company because they can tell you the GPS location of where it was dropped. Sometimes they also mark it as delivered but it might be on the truck for delivery today. Like @katy0990 said, one of your neighbors might have it by mistake. If they DID deliver it to you and it was stolen, I'd suggest doing a police report, and then talking to the people who you bought the items from. They might be willing to resend, or something if you give them a police report number.
@orangecrush29 I'm in upstate ny! We had a cold weekend and today is chilly too. But we're supposed to get back up to high 70's low 80's the rest of this week.
@hannelorre What everyone else said, and also I think if you ordered it from amazon you can submit a request for it to be replaced or refunded if it really was stolen.
