We are finally getting our fridge tomorrow!!!! We've been here since 8/10, and it was originally supposed to come 8/17 and got pushed back. I'm so ready to stop living out of a mini fridge. Also DS's bed finally got painted and done (DH made it). Now onto the dresser, and then once that's done we can start putting stuff on the walls. We'll probably end up eventually repainting the bookshelf DH made too. The color fit well with DS's old room, but doesn't really with his new one.

@mockingjay1 Wow, YH is so talented! I love the bed he made. It looks fantastic! Hooray for finally getting your fridge tomorrow! What a relief. @MouseMama817 Oh no! So sorry to hear your DD is sick. I hope she feels better soon and that you don't catch it. I'm also sorry to hear you and YH aren't on the same page with how to deal with the sleep regression. It makes things so much harder when you each want to deal with it differently. @smulrich16 Ugh, we had a mouse in a month or two ago and it was horrible. We caught it quickly, but I cleaned EVERYTHING because it got all over the place and left droppings everywhere. Totally understand you wanting to clean the house from top to bottom after that. Did you catch it yet?
@MouseMama817 so sorry to hear about how poorly your dd is feeling and how that’s affecting you. and then the electric company shenanigans on top of that— it’s terrible timing. my dd had hfm 2 years ago (almost to the day) and i remember how tough those days and nights were. we had also shared food/kisses prior to diagnosis and in my case i did not catch it thankfully; i hope the same goes for you too and that you have the electricity and ac back pronto.
@MouseMama817 hope your little one feels better soon!
@mockingjay1 yay for new fridges! I couldn’t survive with a mini fridge. Pregnant women need large fridges!
Baby is us being sassy today, I wanted to clean our house, can’t sleep past 6 am because my hips hurt so bad. Every time I get up to try and do something I start having Braxton Hicks - so much for my productive day! Guess this Saturday will be spent on the couch watching football.
@firsttimespartanmom We are twins today. I have so much I wanted to get done but every time I try, the BH start up. My hips made sleeping last night really hard.
@booksandcoffee ugh, I hope you start feeling better! They’ve kicked my butt all day. I actually started timing them because I was nervous I was having so many. They didn’t get any closer than 15 minutes apart and they weren’t painful so I’m not worried but it definitely gave me a scare. Here’s to babies that give us a calm rest of the weekend so we can relax...with books and coffee
@offtoneverland We did catch it! Well, my husband did, as I watched from the living room. Then, Saturday morning as we were setting up for my baby shower, my husband brings in a table from the garage, unfolds it and a mouse popped out!! One of our dogs nearly had it, but we had too much stuff in the way for her to do her job. So, it ended up getting under the sectional couch. After quite the drama - and our neighbor coming over to help out - we deduced that it had climbed up into one of the sections of the couch. So, we took that section out to the garage and placed a mouse trap under it. We also placed mousetraps under each section that we left in the house. I was SURE it was in the piece we took out to the garage and DH kept saying, "Yeah, sure, if that makes you feel better about sitting on the couch." Well, already long story shorter, it WAS in the piece in the garage and the trap caught it! We went out and bought a bunch of traps to put in the garage to catch any other mice and set a few in the pantry and under the couch - just in case.
I'm just glad it was in the sectional like I thought and we didn't have a mouse making an appearance during my shower.
@smulrich16 Oh my gosh!!!!! That is quite the drama. Glad you got the little guy out of your freaking COUCH And hopefully that will be the last of the mouse problem!

@mockingjay1 - thank goodness for getting your fridge! It would drive me crazy to live out of a mini one
