Re: Weekly Symptoms • w/o 9.2

  • Oh man the leg cramps are the real deal. I made H rub my calfs for like an hour the other night while we watched tv.

  • @tumbleweed-1 To add another suggestion, they gave me milk of magnesia last night and it worked like a charm!

  • @texas_t Oh man, that sounds awful! Hopefully baby won't be sunnyside up this time and cause that pain! The pain went away for me (and I'd call it maybe a 2 out of 10 yesterday, so not bad, but definitely annoying and caused me to lose focus since it was new and uncomfortable). I did notice today on my morning walk that my left hip felt weird/different (not painful at all), so maybe everything is just loosening up. I'll have to see how the next few days of sitting at work go. Maybe it's time to bring in my yoga ball!

  • @snreynolds91 @texas_t I am also a total convert re: magnesium supplements. Since I started taking them, no more leg cramps.
  • Ugh, add me to the needs to take Colace 3x a day club. I'd forgotten about that lovely symptom!

Also, I do not remember feeling *this* uncomfortable at this point (almost 28 weeks) last time around! My sides have been hurting allll day because my bump is painfully growing, the sciatic nerve pain has started (only intermittent though, luckily, not constant) and I feel freaking HUGE. I feel like I felt last time at 35 weeks. Kind of horrified to see what I'll feel like when I actually hit 35 weeks (and beyond) this time!
  • @maureenmce Same here! I walked around target for 30 minutes yesterday and my hips and back hurt so bad and I was waddling by the end. How am I going to still be walking in 14 weeks??

  • @PensiveCrayon girl, yaassss.

Also, I have the third trimester sleepies.  It's painful.

  • @echo-charlietango @shevsky I'm also feeling all of the emotions and usually if I cry my husband says oh no you're leaking because I am not at all someone who cries. In fact, crying makes me uncomfortable. But yesterday I cried at the OB's office because I feel like baby's movements decreased. She was super sweet about it and pointed out when he was kicking while she was doing the Doppler. She said she could see me next week again so that I feel better. I cried and cried when I got home to my husband. And then today when I woke up I was like alright I need to suck it up and just do the appointment in two weeks when she wanted me to. So I emailed her and said I'm fine to do another appointment at 28 weeks rather than 27 so I don't mess up my schedule. Ugh emotions. I can't wait just to hold this baby!

@mamajudec2018 I totally get the emotions!  Some days are worse than others. Yesterday I cried because of a song on the radio.

@rosebud332 I am getting so uncomfortable too.  And 15 weeks left!  Last night I slept sitting up on the couch propped up by like 367 pillows because laying down in any position was painful. And I was getting sharp shooting chest pain which was freaking me out but I'm sure was just gas.  Ugh.
  • I’m sorry everyone is having more discomfort. My new gripe is that the reflux has been *horrible* since I did my glucose screening yesterday. For the last 24+ hours I’ve been having stuff come back up my throat plus painful frequent burping. The extra dose of zantac this morning did nothing for me.
  • @katzalia That sounds terrible! When is your 3 hour scheduled for?
  • @katy0990 the three hour I have to go to a lab (vs my OB’s office). My OB just wants me to do it in the next week and a half. I might try for next Friday am.
  • @Katzalia Would you be able to take the afternoon off if you feel crappy afterward?
  • @katy0990 probably not unless I do it on Saturday morning, because I have clinic Friday afternoon. I’ll suffer through Friday afternoon if needed, rather than waste a weekend day while my parents are here. Just another fun thing with pregnancy. Fx maybe the week of two zantac before then will help?

@Katzalia I hope the Zantec does the trick!
