  • @flyingmombula @gowenc Thanks, ladies! My pillow arrived today and I'm excited to try it out. FX for a better night's sleep tonight!

  • I think I over did it today cleaning the house. I cleaned our kitchen, dining room, and living room /entry. I woke up with head ache and pushed through it, but I’m in so much pain now. My head and body are throbbing and we don’t have Tylenol. I’m hoping it’s one of those head aches that go away with sleep.

  • Cramping like crazy unless I empty my bladder every hour. Is this normal or do you think I may have a UTI? I got them pretty frequently pre-pregnancy and I'm just not sure if the symptoms are different in pregnancy or not......well tmi but I waited and totally wet my pants!

  • @violetmarie61516 yesterday I purposely went to pee before heating up dinner, then sneezed and peed myself. I was like, WTF! I literally JUST peed, it’s not fair!

  • I thought I might have felt something last night. I'm 14 weeks, but I'm not sure. It felt very similar to the first movements last time, which, for the record, did NOT feel like fluttering or gas bubbles. It felt almost tingly and literally like something in there was slowly stretching and moving around. My midwives called it "rolling."
  • @lovesclimbing my friend who is an L&D nurse said I wasn’t crazy for feeling movements at 12 Weeks. It only happens in certain positions and I know it’s what I’m feeling bc it happens right after the move and Doppler catches the movement. It doesn’t feel like gas or butterflies either. So I think it’s definitely possible. I’m 13 weeks tomorrow and this morning after eating breakfast I laid down and could feel these weird sensations at the same time as movement sounded on the Doppler.

  • @violetmarie61516 if you think you have a UTI, you may need to get it checked out. They are more common in pregnancy and any infection that close to your baby probably isn’t a good idea. The symptoms are usually the same as when you are not pregnant, but don’t have to be.

  • Ok, this is like way TMI but is anyone else experiencing a sharp pain in the anal area?Mine is almost how “lightening crotch” is but is in that area and definitely more frequently. I’ve used the bathroom today, so I’m not sure that it’s constipation. And no for hemorrhoids as well, My body definitely creates the weirdest symptoms. I’m also in the EXCESSIVE discharge club.
  • @tfraz2016 I had some uncomfortable pressure in my entire pelvic area and then like a shooting pain in what google says is the taint...LOL. I was having a lot of digestive issues that day and it was just for a minute and haven’t had it since. I chalked it up to bodies are weird. If it persists or concerns you I’d bring it up to your doc.

  • @mamakate1616 Not having it today so I’m blaming digestion or something. I always get the most random aches and pains anyways, so pregnancy has been giving me some good ones to talk about!
  • @ashley14598 I’m SO sorry you’re still so sick. It is a horrible feeling & you have every right to cry. My intense nausea finally lifted somewhat a week ago in my 9th week. I’m not sure if it’s timing or the change I made with my B6 supplement: I was taking 100 mg tabs, the only ones I could find. They helped but not for long each day. I finally found some B6 50 mg tabs and I am feeling a LOT better! Still slight nausea, headaches, but so much better than before.

I know your doc has you on prescription meds. I hope you start feeling some relief soon!!

@AgGal2010 Sorry to hear about your scary air issues. I’ve lived through it—no fun! Look up “Air Hunger”. It’s a common problem with other issues. For me it was due to Lyme Disease, which was cured with antibiotics. Even once I got cured from Lyme, the shortness of breath continued in pregnancy. See below for what helped.

@lovesclimbing @violetmarie61516 I also had tons of dizziness and fainting in my last pregnancy, along with shortness of breath. The main culprit was low iron. The thing that helped most was taking liquid iron first thing in the morning. Check out Floradix liquid iron supplement. It
doesnt taste too bad and is easier on the system than iron in tab form. I also take a tiny food-based tab called Blood Builder. Makes a big difference in my dizziness, maybe it can help you too. Good luck!

This is baby #2 and my symptoms are so different! I get super annoyed really easily, I'm having cravings like crazy (all of which I fulfill) im as gassy as I was after my 1st csection (if you've had one then I'm sure you know what I mean) and like everyone else, I cannot sleep at night! I wake up every hour to pee then it takes like 15 min to go back to sleep, all while DH is snoring next to me. Sometime (because I'm easily annoyed) I elbow him "on accident" so hes awake too. DH and I are convinced it's a girl because of my moodiness but we wont find out until 20 week us. I'm currently 13+1 and hoping these symptoms pass soon but I'm starting to lose faith. #herestohoping

  • Ugh im so sorry. Im at 14 weeks today and still nauseous. Vomiting on and off every few days. I’m going to try acupuncture today for the headaches and overall bleh! feeling. I’m just hoping this all subsides soon. I’m starting to get pretty down about it. As for constipation, I’ve been taking Visbiome- it’s a probiotic and it’s helped move everything so I’m not constantly constipated. It’s a little pricey but I swear by it. good luck! I hope everything subsides soon so we can enjoy the second trimester bliss I’ve heard so much about!

  • @keikilove thanks for helping me not feeling so crazy for crying due to feeling so sick! Someone else mentioned possibly adding b6 and I may call my midwife tomorrow to ask about adding them as well.

@tanyadk I’m with you! I’ll be 14 weeks on Wednesday and I still feel sick. I hope the acupuncture helped especially with the headaches ugh!

    @mschanandlerbong1214 that looks awesome!!!
  • A little late of a reply, but for all the people mentioning constipation issues, Miralax is my go to. It’s a gentle one, so not immediate relief, but I usually get movement within a day, or 2 if I’m really behind. I had a traumatic bowel event 2 years ago (thankfully all is well now) and ever since I know way too much about consipatiom prevention. You can take colace daily to keep things soft, but make sure you are getting enough fiber to build the bulk to push it through. Citracel is good, but you have to drink at least 8 oz. of water per pill very shortly after taking. I’ve recently tried out fiberwell fiver gummies and they’ve been helpful. And then Miralax is great as needed-dissolves in any liquid, hot or cold, doesn’t really have a taste, but I find the texture far less noticeable when I have it on hot chocolate. Plus, then I get hot chocolate. :) My Ob said all of this is safe while pregnant (but not sure how much is accounting for my health history and the need for prevention). Hope this helps some of you!

Also here’s an oldy but a goody my brother just sent me about this issue. I feel bad that I found it so funny, but I was crying so hard from laughing when I saw this. I know this pain too well!
