Re: my BMB meet up. I'm kind of thinking about it, but it's a good 2.5-3 hour drive. However, I'd probably drop DH and DS off with the ILs on the way, which makes it much longer...I need to talk with DH about it and see what his thoughts are. If I do I may take that Monday off to give us time to break up the drive a bit for me at least.
@CecilB93 That is really sweet! I was actually part of the March 16 BMB and was really active through about 20 weeks, but then I got some bad news about my baby (he ended up being fine) and really fell off the group.Then, after he was born, I went to the BMB and everyone had moved to FB already . It was so nice talking to other moms as a FTM, especially before we shared our baby news with anyone. I really wish I had continued to participate more through the remainder of the pregnancy. I hope you get to go to your meet up. FWIW I drove 2.5 hours to my mom’s house when I was 32 weeks last time and didn’t have any issues.
Just celebrating the fact that today is my Friday! My cousin's wedding is this weekend. This week was the first of four - four day work weeks. So excited!

I just couldn't be more true, my O16 group is so tight knit, I don't know what I would have done as a new mom without them... and even still! We just had a gtg in June in Orlando and I literally begged, cried and bargained my way into getting DH to say Ok to me going lol. It was quite a haul from CA. It was seriously amazing and the highlight of my year so far. We're already planning next year's in TX! I hope you get to make it to yours!
Anyone have good "mocktail" (i dislike cutesy words like that lol) ideas for the wedding i'm going to tonight? i'll prob have a few sips of champs, but it's going to be hot af and I wanna feel like part of the party lol
agreed with @ab_canada I love mixing juices, any combo of organe/cranberry/pineapple and a splash of something clear and fizzy like 7up/sprite/gingerale
@morgantu I like ordering tonic with lime, or tonic with cranberry. Guess what - I love tonic. Or just sip ginger ale with cherries, it all depends on what the bar has set up. Have fun tonight!

@morgantu ditto on the virgin mojitos if they have mint. Moscow mule (ginger ale/lime juice) also works nicely without the vodka. But my lazy go-to is club soda with both lemon and lime. I know, wild & crazy.
One of the pregnant ladies at work, who is about 34-35 weeks along, is in the hospital (likely on bed rest because she mentioned wanting to work from home for a little while). I am sure everything will be fine since she is far enough along. But it made it hit home that I should aim to have everything I wanted done by mid October if I want to make sure nothing is left hanging!

March 6th our little man was born.

10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
@CecilB93 Aw, that article made me cry! My J16 BMB is great but we are small and not as close as the ladies in the article. I would love to have a tighter knit, big, close group this time around!

Re: mocktails, I love a virgin margarita! Haven't been having them since the reflux hit, but they're great! Especially with a salted rim it feels almost like the real thing. I am hoping to make a virgin pina colada this weekend. Need to figure out the ingredients/recipe or buy a mixer or whatever.
Speaking of that, I mentioned I'm going away for a girls' weekend in the desert tomorrow (hence the virgin pina coladas) and I'm already getting nervous and sad about leaving DD! Don't get me wrong, I am *so excited* to have alone time and hanging out with just adult friends, but I am going to miss my LO! I haven't been away from her a single night or longer than a work day since she was born. She'll be with my husband and he has a really fun weekend planned for her, so I'm sure it'll be harder on me than her, but I didn't expect to be this emotional!
