best thing about being pregnant and working with a TON of younger moms is the every time I tell someone I'm preg, the offer to give me all their stuff! And I always say yes! Hopefully, this will continue and I will be able to get away with not having a shower at all (per my other comment this morning)???
My DH is not an emotional person, and recently he has been talking about how excited he is for baby number 2. He told me he wasn't really excited at all for our daughter to be born, and now that he knows the immense love he has for her, he can't wait for December. It is truly so sweet to hear, especially since we are not the mushy type of people.

Random FFC, my boss was out yesterday and called out again today, and I have zero desire to do anything. We have auditors here though and a report we submitted to them is about $100mill dollars less than what their report shows. Usually my boss handles these things, but I'm next in line even though I've only been here a year and 2 months...I have no idea what the discrepancy is...I'd rather be at home, wrapped in a big fluffy blanket, listening to the rain, and sewing the projects I have lined up.

Do you think anyone would do at home newborn photos plus cat photos? Lol, I’ve thought of hiring someone to come take pics of my cat playing (she gets great jumps in) because I just don’t have the camera for it. I haven’t committed to the idea though. But,... if I was getting baby and kitty combos, it might be more worth the effort & $ to me.
As far as newborn pictures: We paid $475 for a maternity/newborn package. It included 20 edited photos for maternity and 25 for newborn, which was more than enough! The maternity session was 1 hour and the newborn was two, though I am pretty sure we were there for 2.5-3 hours. I just looked at her website and her prices jumped up to $550!! Holy wow. We will pay it though, because we love her. We do our Christmas photos with her too and one year photos.

Anyone else have baby bump headphones? I'm kind of a sucker to begin with and bought these as soon as I got pregnant (FTM) but I used them for the first time the other night and the baby was definitely moving around way more when I was playing him music. Could've been a coincidence but I was very entertained by it. I should probably find some more baby appropriate music to play but he seemed to love NKOTB
@morgantu I am also trying not to think about things like showers and infant photos. My brother and SIL just had a newborn session for their two week old and I have to admit the photos are really nice. They are all outdoors in beautiful lighting though, which likely will not happen in December. I think we might just get a nice camera that we can keep using and give it a shot ourselves.

My random: I had the WORST dream this morning and I cannot get it out of my head. It was horribly violent (and involved my kid and cat) and I woke feeling so sick to my stomach. After DH left for work, I cradled my cat in my arms and cried. And after DD woke up, I snuggled with her and she held my hand...she knew I was sad/scared. I didn't care that I was 45 minutes late to work...I needed that extra lovin.
On a positive note, MY DOGS COME HOME TOMORROW!!! So, I will selfishly be reviving that pet thread.

A random change in subject, but I'm so excited! My sister had her baby at 4 this morning! Somehow, I missed everything and slept through 46 text messages! It's another girl, even though everyone unanimously thought this one would be a boy. Surprise! I'm heading to see her now. Can't wait!
@lippy625 we did not buy bump phones but often play music to the baby by place my phone on my belly. The baby attempts to kick it off. Not sure if it likes it or not? That being said we played the same song to DD all the time in my belly and after she was born that song soothed her!! To this day she stops and dances to anything sung by Jayme Johnson.
@LLynde5 My H said he was moving around so much because he didn't like NKOTB but I'm choosing to believe he was having a dance party The country singer Jayme Johnson? His voice is soothing to me too, I love that your DD recognizes his voice like that!
House update (skip if you're over this, i totally understand) we had 10 showings today and so far have 2 offers! The realtor expects more this evening and we will review in a little while. Will probably have a verbal agreement by tonight!
Thanks guys, I'm so relieved. We just accepted one of 5 offers! H is smug because it's priced where he wanted to list before the realtor and I talked him down. But I'm thrilled. Ready for Vacation!
I just have to share this with you ladies. A girl in my March 16 BMB shared this with us on FB yesterday and I just love it. In the 3-ish years we've all been together, we've celebrated, mourned, helped each other, done secret santa, met up with one another. They're all planning a big meet-up, and if I wasn't going to be 32 weeks at the time I'd go in a heartbeat, I'm actually still thinking about it to be honest...we'll see lol. It's amazing the friendships you can form online in groups like this, and I can't wait to know you ladies even more
