Getting up to pee in the middle of the night - ugh! I don't remember that starting so early with my last pregnancy. Then I'm wide awake and have trouble going back to sleep. Sigh.
@kangstadt I'm having the exact same problem which I feel like just makes already feeling exhausted worse. I barely could get anything done this weekend which I feel guilty about.
@gollygeeitsamy, yes, exactly! I napped both days this weekend, haha. And if DH hadn't decided to be a clean freak and scrub my house, it would still be a disaster (do men go through nesting also? ).
The bloating and constipation continue... also I seriously want all food!! The extreme fatigue seems to have taken a little break but the intense and crazy dreams aren't going anywhere.
I've been having trouble falling asleep since I found out, but I'm not sure if that's the pregnancy or my nerves. I also threw up this morning when I got to work, but I also took my multivitamin an hour before so it could have been that. I'm not sure.
My biggest symptoms right now are the brain fog and the uterine pinching/tugging sensations.
Anyone else feel out of breath/increased heart rate just from walking up a flight of stairs? I can't imagine that it's a symptom already, but I've also been getting out of breath trying to talk and demonstrate things at work too (I'm a gymnastics coach). I remember having that issues before, but I thought it was later when baby was much bigger.
Bloating, sore boobs, and fatigue are the main ones. Slight cramping/pinching/twitching. I'm also really hungry all the time but food sounds gross. This morning my stomach was a little upset.

@professormama see that's just it: normally I don't throw up from them, it's never been an issue before. I'm a sleeve gastrectomy patient, so I've been taking a daily vitamin for almost a year, and it's literally never been a problem until now. Regardless, I'm going to try taking them at bedtime
I've started to feel more and more nauseated. I lost 15lbs in the first trimester last time so I'm hoping it's nowhere near as bad but I'm already nervous for it. My sore boobs have finally subsided in time for my bra free vacation to end and get back to the office.

The nausea is in full force this week. I’m so bloated I can’t button my pants. The cravings are starting to set in when I’m not nausea. Basically I’m feeling...pregnant!
The dreams are really something... last night I had one about getting kidnapped and taken to another country by a terrorist group, and plotting to turn myself and the other political prisoners into a world class cheerleading team so that we could get invited to a competition in the US and then escape. Seriously.
Other than that, my main symptom is being fairly exhausted - not helped by the crazy dreams and getting up to be 5x a night. My 3yo son goes to a university daycare, which means he follows the exact same academic calendar I do. He has no school for the next 2 weeks, and doesn't start back until the first day of the semester. This will be an interesting week for me - exhausted, disaster of a house (because cleaning is hard), no daycare, and finishing prep for the new class I'm teaching.
Nausea is hitting hard. It seems to be incessant and worse if I don't eat for longer periods OR if I do eat, and eat too much. I burst into tears on Saturday and told DH I don't know how I'll manage the next six weeks if it remains at this pace.
Other than that- extreme exhaustion, mood swings, and weird cravings.
@BarefootContessa sorry to hear you're having a hard time! I had bad nausea last time and (sorry to do this to you) it lasted well into my second trimester. Make sure to eat small, frequent meals and stay hydrated. It will pass eventually!!

Constipation, just a bit of nausea, insomnia, and a loooot of anxiety! And of course these newly developed watermelons on my chest. Edited to add: heartburn and a LOT of crying!
So the crazy dreams started for me over the weekend and I had my first real legit cravings. I literally dreamt about the world's most decadent chocolate cake and the dream was vivid. It was crazy. Then I promptly woke up and demanded a trip to the local bakery from my husband haha.
Other than that, exhaustion, constipation and bloating are my worst enemies.

I tried to do a bunch of house work today - nothing crazy, just picking up / laundry/ dishes. And now I’m laying on the couch feeling absolutely terrible.
@socks2819 lol that sounds like something I would do! I've been craving turkey just incessantly and I don't even like turkey, I don't even go near it at holidays, so of all the things to crave I don't get it I've had dreams about my sisters when my mom was pregnant with them, that they were girls, one had blue eyes and the other had bright red hair, and when they were born they were exactly like in my dreams and I've been having dreams the same way about this little bean so I'm really excited to see if this time it's right too... probably not!
My cravings today: buffalo wings, sugar cookie with frosting, donuts and some ethnic cuisine I can’t quite figure out (maybe middle eastern, so i’m gonna rock some falafel and hummus as soon as uber eats shows up).
@RainNFyre buffalo wings for me too! I like them slow smoked with hot BBQ sauce slathered on there. I'm dying not having them. Also craving green olives (not black or kalamata). Pizza of all kinds. CHEESE, but no cheddar (I'm eating some fresh soft cheese b/c it's pasteurized, but no aged soft cheese). Ginger ale for nausea.
@kangstadt SO glad I'm not the only one! My son's room is upstairs and I have to catch my breath when I get up there and feel like I'm having a heart attack my blood pumps so hard! I'm like, oh geez this is great lol
Nausea here and there, nothing much yet.
E.x.t.r.e.m.e.l.y tired. Tired as in I had to ask my husband to come home early to start the bedtime routine for my 9 month old so I could crash in bed due to falling asleep while standing. It's bad!
I smell everythinggg. I help out in my parents greenhouse and as I'm cleaning all the flowers I have tears in my eyes saying "I'm smelling too many flowers at once!" Lol everyone thinks I'm crazy
So much nausea and food aversions, I think all I am eating is bread, cheese and broth. The tachycardia and winded feeling continues, my heart rate got up to 160 the other day at work. (Im a rapid response nurse so I have to "run" to emergencies all over the hospital) well, bad idea...now I am power walking. Reassured by the nausea just want to see this little bean/beans.
So today I feel almost completely "normal," and while logically I know symptoms come and go throughout this process, it's got me mentally freaking out this morning. Pardon me while I go read the chances of not miscarrying thread again... .
Pregnancy dreams are here in full force! Last night, I dreamed I found a video of a young Megan Markle as a Mouseketeer and I said "Oh, the queen's gonna be piiiiiiissed!"
4 weeks with my 2nd...is it a thing to nearly pass out? During my lunch break yesterday, I got super hot, my ears started ringing and my vision got blurry. It was awful. I was eating lunch at the time, so it wasn’t like I was low on nutrients? I guess.
There was a time in college when I fainted fairly often, but that’s like 10 years ago.
Just would feel feel better if someone else experienced this. I thought I’d let it go, but if it happens again I’m definitely calling my doctor.
@kangstadt symptoms come and go. I hope you're not freaking out too badly.
I just got the strongest craving for a fresh salad. Lots of lettuce, dill right out of the garden and some Dilly Dip. I guess it's better to crave that than chips?

I'm tired, I feel nauseated if I eat, I feel nauseated if I don't eat, dreams are vivid af, I'm definitely emotional, Im having some cramping that I'm trying to tell myself are normal but I swear once in a while they feel like Braxton Hicks type tightening...
@kangstadt I have had very few/mild symptoms thus far and I distinctly remember being nauseas by this time with my last pregnancy. I was just telling my husband last night that I was hoping for morning sickness because it’s reassuring! I’m sure once it hits I’ll be wishing it away. Hope you’re not working yourself up too much.
@Smith7000 I'm wondering if your BP or pulse was too high in that moment or if your body was trying to level our your blood sugar. I used to get similar symptoms when I was in college due to heart palpitations. I would mention it to your OB at your appointment or call your DR right away if it happens again.
Glad I'm not alone in this, thanks @mermaidca, @jmesue1030, and @sdelg09. I felt fine all day and now all I want to do is take a nap, so there are definitely still some symptoms.
@Smith7000, I agree it could be blood pressure or sugar related. I had similar issues in college, but I think they were due to low blood sugar. Definitely call your doc for an opinion though.
