Ugh, boy names are hard. MH and I can't seem to agree on anything but Vincent, which I'm not in love with. I hope it's a girl just so I don't have to think of a good boy name.

@meggyme - boy names are hard. Brian is our boy name and I’m not wild about it. Feel like it’s a boy but hoping for a girl so I can have a name I like.
AFM, home with the movers today watching them pack everything. All goes to the new house today. Get to spend lotsa time unpacking the next few days, more than expected, since I got laid off yesterday. going to take a few days to get the house in order and then start looking, but I know there isn’t much in town in my field. Really hoping for another telework gig with the baby coming.
@mermaidca, ahhh, congratulations! Birth month buddies! When did you test? I was home alone yesterday and couldn't help myself. Took another two this morning to confirm.
@catlady2015 That is horrible news. I’m so sorry you are having to deal with that while pregnant. I’m sure it’s stressful. And moving blows.
@meggyme Ughhhh yes! We poured over list after list of boy names last night. I made a deal with the devil last pregnancy to give DH a boy name he loves. I HATE it and now I’m trying to find any name at all that doesn’t suck to talk him out of it. I really really want a son too but I’d almost just rather a girl as well so we don’t have to deal with the name.
April peeps! Join us!! The Bump needs to get off their vacation from life and get shit moving.
@catlady2015 I am so sorry to hear that. That is very bad timing and must be very stressful! FX you find something soon!
@meggyme Boys names stress me out too. We haven’t even discussed names yet, but I have my own lists and I don’t truly love any of the names. However, I have 3 girls names I love and it will be so hard to choose. Assuming MH didn’t veto them all.
I had had my first bout of MS yesterday which thankfully just lasted for the morning. I think I managed to avoid it today by eating right away, but I just feel tired and off. I’m trying to tell myself it’s okay to listen to my body and rest/nap if I need, but I just feel off schedule and out of sorts.
@meggyme agreed! We are having a tougher time with boy named too! I think Vincent is nice! Would you call the baby Vincent or give him a nickname like Vince or Vinny?
@kangstadt I tested Friday(10DPO) and got a stark white window staring back at me. I bought a BBT thermometer to start temping next cycle and have been temping for the last 4 days and noticed my temps are on a very steady incline so I thought I'd test today because I had one left. Within seconds there was a line. Of course when I go spend money is when it happens!!!
I find boy names difficult. H and I have one picked out from last time and we love love love it. Girls might be the tough one for us this go.
Thanks for having us here ladies. Sorry to crash your party. Come on Bump.

@mayoduck right now I'm trying to come up with alternatives my husband will agree to. I don't like Vinny though, so he'd probably be Vince but it feels like such a grown up name for a kid.
DD1: June '16 DD2: March ‘19 :::: Married since 2011 :::: USN Wife ::::
@mermaidca The same thing happened to me. We had been trying for 5 months with no luck. So month 6 I bought a crap ton of OPKs and a thermometer. Bam that did the trick! Now I don't know what to do with all the OPK's. I peed on several as HPTs just to feel like I got some use out of them. Otherwise I would have used 2 out of a pack of 150.
@purpleteacher82 Yes trust your body! Rest all you can. My principal was so amazing with my last pregnancy. She told me from the get go that I was the only teacher in the building that had full permission to be sitting in a chair at all times if I needed to. Of course, I didn't. But it was nice on the days that I did need to be sitting down not to feel guilty about it.
@catlady1215 I am so sorry to hear that, what crappy timing! Fx you find something great and flexible. Just went through something similar, and it sucks, but you can definitely find something that works for you. @meggyme we definitely have a harder time coming up with boy names too. We were in agreement on a girl name last time, so of course we had a boy! @purpleteacher82 hope the ms stays manageable!
Thanks ladies, I got a vacation payout and will get two weeks severance, but being newly pregnant and just having closed on our house is awful timing. Thankfully DH makes good money but we stretched more when buying because I was working and now obviously I’m not. I hope something pops up fairly soon or I’ll be out of my field taking any job to pitch in. Hope it won’t come to that but who knows?
@meggyme, I feel you on name difficulty. We have some names leftover from our DS, but I'm not a huge fan of them anymore. Although I think a boy name is what we agree on - girl names are trickier to get him to like what I like! (And I'm the one hoping for a girl, haha).
@catlady2015, so sorry to hear that! I hope you find something else soon. That sucks.
Thanks @JLaVO888! Where is that dang April board?!
Aw, that sucks @purpleteacher82. I get nauseated on a normal day if I don't eat early enough in the day. Hope you feel better soon.
@mermaidca, Murphy's law, right?! I told MH that this *would* be the month we end up pregnant... it makes my due date within five days of our DS's birthday .
@JLaVO888, oh boy, haha! I'm trying to look at it as a positive thing, although even if they're the same gender, they'll be 5 years apart so shared birthday parties may not be a thing... I don't want to take away from the specialness of my firstborn, and since MH says he's done after this one, I'm stuck feeling guilty already that they'll share a birth month, if not week.
@mermaidca MH came home from the liquor store with a bottle of really nice wine (2013 Silver Oak) and I told him "well now I'm definitely going to be knocked up..." And lo and behold...

@JLaVO888 There are 4 other teachers pregnant in our building. They are all due in the fall. We also had a baby boom in the Spring of 2017 with 5 teachers having babies. I’m sure my principal will be awesome about it since he has had to deal with quite a bit of pregnancy in the few years he’s been with us.
I felt really guilty about it too when we were TTC. I *almost* sat this month out. But we had hit the half year mark and March is such a good month for teachers. I'm really glad I didn't sit it out now though. And I'm starting to come to terms with it, and maybe even love the idea of it. I've convinced myself its probably a great life lesson for my kiddos that even though they are special, there is always room to share their special days with others, especially the people they love most. HD shared a bday with his grandpa and loved having joint parties with him all growing up! Mine will only be 3 years apart so shared themes may be easier. If not, we can just do a mixed theme. They will most likely only get one party though as all our family has to travel from out of town to be here. (money saver!) I'm most worried about DD's bday this coming year though. I can't even plan it because of the possibility of it being cancelled do to me being in the hospital. I've decided we will have a big party the day baby comes home for both of them. She is only 3 so she will not understand the dates and timing of it.

The year I was pregnant I was the only one. Last year we had 4. I'm guessing I will be the only one again as all of those ladies are now SAHMs. As I typed that I just remembered one girl on my team did get married this summer. So she may be joining me. That would leave two LT subs in our grade level! eek
@JLavo888 yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about your DD missing her birthday. You could even do it a few weeks to a month early just so she can have something all about her before the baby comes. I know several families that have group birthdays for up to 3 kids. One of my friends has September/October/November babies, so they have a big family bash for Halloween.

@meggyme She has been really in to tea parties. I was thinking of just inviting the 4 neighbor kids for a little tea party close to her bday on a day I know I am not in labor. Since they are close they don't need to know a ton in advance (they play together almost daily anyways) and it would be fun for them to all get dressed up and eat some cake and drink some tea.
@meggyme of course too H is planning our 5 year wedding anniversary in September. Fancy dinner reservation, hotel for the night. He even said we should splurge for champagne. He never plans these surprises!!! I'll tell him tonight that he'll be drinking that bottle alone haha.
@JLaVO888 A tea party would be so fun and so sweet! How special would that be?
@kangstadt they might still be in the process of getting it set up. Hopefully by the end of the day it'll be ready. Good luck and godspeed ladies! Feel free to stop in and say hi! You know we'll be lurking the hell out of you.

The April board is up now so I'll say farewell for now! I'm probably going steal the TTGP check in threads from this board for the April board good luck ladies and H&H 9 months!
@meggyme The board is definitely getting busier! Which is a mixed blessing, it's good to have more people but I have trouble keeping up during the workday. Plus with more people comes more one-offs......
@diaphena yeah, luckily people seem to be interacting a little bit more instead of just recording their latest symptoms and leaving. AND it seems that more people are onboard with redirecting the one-offs.

I haven’t been able to be on TB today until now and holy cow, I am overwhelmed by all the posts and “new” notifications. I officially go back to work at the end of next week so I better get used to only Bumping in the evenings!
@purpleteacher82 I'm already swamped with trying to keep up here. I went back on Tuesday and I don't even have the energy to read when I get home. So know I am here in spirit until the weekend or a good break haha.
