I'll definitely be deciding after the shower since I'm sure I'll be getting a boat load of more clothes! But excited to see what everyone chooses!! ETA I think I'm gonna stick with just Nb outfits since they'll be coming early. I'm considering buying two premie outfits just in case..
I will bring both a newborn and 0-3m set to the hospital, because all the babies in my family are 9 lbs at 39-40 weeks. Plus MIL is 6', and my mom and I are 5'8", so we got some tall genes in the fam. never know what I'll get!
I need to finish his onesie DD and DS each came home in a monogrammed onesie (because Southern) and coordinating pants, so LO will too. I just have to quit being lazy and order the HTV so I can finish it.
My aunt makes a knitted outfit (pants, sweater, and hat) for every baby in the hopes we use it as the going home outfit. Won't see it until Sept. 8th at my shower, but will post once I have it!

Just to throw this out there, my first was 11lbs 12 oz, 24 inches long and he only fit into 3-6 month clothes. This baby is on track to be a similar size at this point, so maybe be prepared with smaller and larger outfits than you might anticipate needing because you never know . This is making the “going home outfit” a tough choice for me this time around lol.
I *might* dress her in the same “coming home” outfit that I wore. My mom saved it and plans to give it to me at my shower. I guess it depends on how big she is? (I was early and only 6lbs something).
@chyvie I think we have the same shower date! What’s your due date? I’m stressing a tab because I’m due 10/3 so less than a month after the shower if all goes as planned.
I’m thinking something like this but I haven’t bought it yet.

Might be huge, sorry. This white sleeper is what we brought Z home in (and that’s him at 5 months lol). It says Welcome to the World. I’ll probably use the same one for #3.
This! Super soft, I like how it's a wrap top, so hopefully less pressure on her umbilical cord. I actually got the butterflies because DD is obsessed with them, and I thought she would warm up to the baby better if she saw the butterflies lol
It’ll depend on where you live. It’ll be cool here by October (we often have snow for Hallowe’en) so babe will definitely be in pants and long sleeves. But if it’s still warm where you are a onesie is fine, or a set with a pair of shorts.
We’ve done jammies with both our kids (March and December), and have one for this one but because October is still pretty warm, we may get a onesie instead. For my oldest, it was actually warmer than I thought it would be that day but we didn’t have anything else so we kept the car cold all the way home.
Both of my kids (March and October) were in short sleeve onesies and legging-ish pants. We’re also in Texas so weather is totally up in the air both times of year LO will be in the same thing and we’ll bring a blanket just in case.
Figured LO would just live in onsies and footie pj's/outfits. Do I need pants/leggings for baby? We live in the Midwest so it will eventually get cooler but Oct is normally pretty mild. Most times we don't have snow by Christmas.
I'm one of those people that dresses their newborn most days (rather than just staying in a sleeper). Last time DDs umbilical cord kept getting kind of caught in the button sleepers though, so I'm trying to avoid that this time. I figure without the onesie there less pressure on it, but who knows.
+1 for a sleeper or wrap shirt. We were gifted the CUTEST monogrammed onesie for DD with matching leggings and a bow, but honestly it was not ideal trying to get her and her tiny, newborn body in it! With DS we just brought a really cute footed sleeper and it was so much easier on him and us! Haven’t picked out an outfit for DS2 yet but it won’t be anything that has to go over his head!
We haven’t announced the pregnancy on FB, let alone that we are having twins, so I want to use these for our announcement. They’ll get onesies with their names for going home.
I have this outfit picked as the current front runner. Since we're team green I could conceivably end up finding non gender neutral outfits that I like more, but for now I haven't seen anything. It also works out since we've already picked out the stuffed animal for 3.0 and it happens to be a duck, so it keeps with the theme. We'll continue with the duck in the birth stats artwork a friend makes (DS has a lamb, DD has a bunny) so it just seems fitting.

I'm a huge GA fan and so this will probably be her take-home outfit (I plan on making her some little scrub pants and a hat).
I'll bring a backup outfit in NB, in case she's tiny.
