I'm suddenly having indigestion from everything.  I think it might be bc the panel on my pants is getting too tight.....ugh
  • Loading the player...
  • @KFrob Same! I've been getting so full and then burping like crazy and getting worse acid reflux. Finally realized last night that the panel was tight around the top.

@hannaht8516 this just adding to not wanting to wear anything struggle!
  • Oooh I thought of one.

Is it a symptom to be hormonal at this point and keep having dreams about your husband pissing you off? I've had them like 3 nights in a row now.

I think I'm getting a new batch of hormones. My face broke out really bad in the beginning, then the last few weeks it's subsided a little. Now it's at it again.
  • @hannaht8516 I've been super emotional recently, like in the last 2 weeks. Had a couple good cries this weekend due to some family drama/stress that my pregnancy is causing. (Causing both the drama and the hormonal tears, lol)

I also had the bad, annoying husband dreams before I got pregnant, so I say normal  :D

  • @KFrob Same here. I thought my acid reflux/heartburn/indigestion problems were getting better until I wore a shirt last week that was apparently too tight. I had it all day long! Apparently I’m now done wearing any of my prepregnancy clothes  :s

  • @hannaht8516 my last pregnancy I had a couple of dreams where I was so mad at my husband when I woke up he actually asked me what was wrong and I told him.  I know it was just a dream but I'm so mad I can't even look at you right now.  He just laughed it off.

  • @jemmerjams @bntfroggie Ha! Glad I'm not the only one!
  • @KFrob @hannaht8516 that’s why I’ve pretty much given up on pants at this point, even maternity ones! I’ve accepted the fact that it will
pretty much be dresses or sweatpants/pajama pants from here on out... no shame.
  • +1 to baby up in the ribs.  Seriously kid, you can’t climb any higher than that. Chill out please, you’ve got 12 weeks left before I even think about trying to kick you out!
  • Concentration and memory, gone. Had lunch today with about 8 coworkers and I couldn't follow a single thing being said, asked the person right next to me to repeat what they were saying like 3 times because I just literally couldn't pay attention long enough. Terrible.

And hot. Feel like this baby is the sun. Even when in AC I'm just sweating. On the plus side I'm totally getting my ice water in.
  • I have the opposite problem, Griffin is down in my pelvic to the point where the pressure some days is so uncomfortable. I can't stand long periods because it puts a lot of pressure on my bladder and sometimes is painful. He's rarely near my ribs.

I had a total breakdown Sunday night. It started with DH's and my finances discussion and then just compounded. I cried quite a few times, sometimes full out can't breath sobbing.

Ugh sorry @sammierose464 :( I've had a few mini melt downs in the last couple of weeks.   I'm hoping that they're releasing enough emotion that I don't have a big one.

ETA hormones + life stress + new baby is a lot
  • This may belong in the clothing thread but since we are sort of on topic for comfy clothes, I bought a pair of drawstring maternity pants from pink blush (really just drawstring pants made from the softest knit fabric ever) and they were on clearance. They have more in probably a dozen different colors/patterns (and have coupon codes available every couple of days, it seems). I ordered three more pair and may live in them forever.
  • It’s normal to feel exhausted again in 3rd Tri, right, STMs?

I hit 30 weeks yesterday and all of a sudden I’m feeling wiped by like 2pm. Hoping it’s just a growth spurt or something?

Ugh I came home and wanted to take a nap but figured I’m going to try a light workout to see if that helps instead. Then maybe nap if not haha.

Yeeeeep. Then third tri exhaustion turns into postpartum/newborn exhaustion, then growth spurt/constant feeding exhaustion, then “my infant refuses to sleep through the night” exhaustion, then toddler exhaustion.
Boo. I was afraid of that. Eek.
  • It doesn't feel soreexactly, but does feel kinda swollen. I assume from the additional blood? @kiwi2628
  • @kiwi2628 This happens to me. I usually just use ice packs when it gets bad. My OB said it was normal and I can use a support belt during the day which might help a little bit, but probably won't get rid of it.

@kiwi2628 definitely feels swollen! Not so much sore but I wouldn't know how else to put it so I'll say yeah sore too.
  • @kiwi2628 I'm having the same issue. It makes it so uncomfortable to walk after sitting even for a little while.

@sammierose464 I've been the same way. I've cried like that quite a few times.  SO and I had a big finance conversation the other night, I was in tears and we havnet spoken much since.

Then Last night I started bawling when my mom asked me to stop and get her lottery tickets on my way home from work. It wasnt the stopping to get them, it was the having to get in and out of the car an extra time because it super uncomfortable for me at this point and I just wanted to go home and lay down. These hormones are making me crazy.
  • My reflux is so bad I’m waking up in the middle of the night when it backs up into my throat and almost makes me vomit. I am so glad I see my ob tomorrow.
  • ugh, @hoosonfirst that happened to me twice last week. It is horrible!
  • I think I've mentioned before I host bar trivia on Tuesdays. I sit for it because standing that long is hard. I'm starting to realize how hard sitting in a metal bar chair for 2 hours is. (It is padded and not that uncomfortable) I'm struggling to breathe and then I'm so sore and tired after. At $60 a show, I really want to do it for as long as possible, but it's getting hard.

@kiwi2628 I have the same issue this last week. My OB at my appointment today said it is from the extra blood flow down there and it preparing for labor.

  • +1 to the sore and swollen vag - I remember this happening way later with my other two...everything seems to be earlier this time!

I am dying in the heat we’ve had lately - I al
basically useless in the afternoons and if I attempt to move much in the heat I get nauseous and light headed. Me, the fan, and the basement are currently BFFs.

  • Those that have rib pain but no baby kicks-could be your uterus expanding into that area
Pretty sure I am getting BH some evenings after dinner. I don't notice it start but I will eventually go oh wow  by belly is tighter. When I try to relax as I think it may have been something I did it relaxes a little and then the tightness seems to come back but so gradual I don't notice it. So weird.
Woke up a few times with the acid reflux  Not fun but a tums took care of it. Thankfully pretty random so far.
  • @SweetSweetTooth I get BH, but that’s not the same as baby under my ribcage. When I have BH my whole belly is super tight and it feels hard to breathe. When baby is under my ribcage, it just feels like something is poking my ribs from inside.
  • Well, I was coming here to complain about my major heartburn, but it appears I am
    not alone...
  • Lately if I eat too big of a meal I feel so bloated and like I never want to eat again. I think I need to start having smaller meals throughout the day. I guess I’m running out of room already?

  • My baby is sitting low, directly on my bladder! It causes a lot of pressure and discomfort. And I have to pee every ten minutes as well. Sometimes she also punches me below the boob and my boob actually moves! (They are big and rest on my bump at this point in case you're wondering how that's possible). My 2.5 year old son also punches my boob sometimes. Kids are weird.

Also if I sit in my desk chair for more than 25 minutes when I stand up I have horrible butt and leg pain and have to limp it off for 5 minutes. I don't remember that happening last time.

And boo. I have gestational diabetes so I'm hungry all the time! God I already miss pizza and ice cream!

I just straight up chugged a hot coffee to meet the requirement of “no food or drink” after 6 am for my glucose test at 10. I usually get up at 630 and instead got up at 545 to do that and have an egg muffin. No one wants to deal with me hangry.

@jweber4747 this is my second and the physical toll is definitely worse this time!

Guys- I think I just had lightning crotch for the first time! High five!...or not

  • @jweber4747 I run into the same issue with him being so low.

My hips killed me last night, whenever I woke up I realized how sore they were. And I had HORRIBLE RLP last night. I sneezed and my entire pelvic area stretched and it was so painful. then I couldn't move for 5 min without more sharp pain. I was laying in bed when it happened.
  • EXACT same here, @sammierose464
  • +10 to being hormonal. Yesterday I was in a really bad mood and being kind of pissy to my supervisees. I go from crazy annoyed to feeling fine and back in the shortest time span.

Sleeping is impossible but at least I get out of bed early and do stuff now.

Baby moves a lot which I appreciate. Lately I’ve had a lot of anxiety about the birth and the changes coming but there is something very grounding about feeling this kid move and knowing how much I want them to be here.

My husband seems to be officially desensitized to my loud *pregnancy* farts. Not sure if that’s good or bad. I’m totally blaming it on the pregnancy. But seriously, there’s no room to be holding them in without exploding.
