@coffee-saur my 2 year old DD will stare at my belly disapprovingly if its popping out of a shirt and pull the shirt down to cover it. On the other hand 5 year old SD has to pull up whatever I'm wearing (even dresses) to give my belly love.
Anterior placenta for the win? I feel kicks and punches but because of the front placenta the kid is kicking a pillow lol no pain yet! DH hasn't felt much movement yet though so that is for sure a negative about it.
@SweetSweetTooth I have an anterior placenta too, but I’m still feeling painful kicks just mostly on my sides. Occasionally on the front too, so maybe this LO is just going to be a kickboxer haha.
+1 to painful kicks. Also, LO still drops or headbutts or something to make it feel like my cervix is bottoming out. More concerning now that I know I'm already thinning... my current mantra... stay strong cervix!
@pumpkinpancake maybe I have a lightweight in there lol I feel movements and bumps on the sides and low but nothing even close to painful though sometimes it surprises me when dh and I are talking. I did have a limb push and slide a little the other night and that felt weird! Not painful yet.
@cdepperschmidt that makes so much sense!! I am in no way fit! The kid is just punching fat so it is painless!! I love to be sarcastic but I am dead serious, I just jiggle when the kids moves *I am laughing so hard at the truth of this!*
@SweetSweetTooth Anterior placenta here too. I feel the stronger kicks way up top near my ribs or on the sides. Not too much in the middle where I’m assuming my placenta is. Sometimes baby turns around and I feel kicks and movement in my bottom, super weird!
Most of the time it doesn’t bother me, I like knowing baby is happy and moving. I just think it’s funny how much it freaks out DH.
Baby was moving all over the place, last night and DS-8 saw my belly jump. He was so excited, it's adorable!
I got my appt for the detailed ultrasound scheduled this morning. I'm going to an OB group in Denver on Aug 3rd. They take our insurance so I'm glad we have a 3 hr drive instead of a 5 hr drive.
+1 for leg cramps! I had to wake SO the other morning at 5 am because I couldn't massage it out myself. I was finally able to get up, because of course I had to pee again, and it started all over again.
I upped my water since then and I haven't had any since. Fx for no more!
Ugh, all the spotting! It's driving me crazy! I had little with DS. I literally have been having it 1x a week minimum. Like today. We went walking around a local festival thing. I was on my feet, pushing the stroller for about 3 1/2 hrs (without sitting), doesn't seem like that big a deal right? Yet it was enough to cause a large amount of spotting (always pink-red) the whole rest of the day. Happens every time I'm up for awhile at a time (or any irritation). Will definitely be discussing this at my appointment this coming week.
Holy crap another Charley horse that brought me to tears. I feel like such a baby because I usually have a pretty high pain tolerance. I even told SO that I wasnt having any more babies because of it. Of course he laughed because that's not what causes them but in the moment it made sense. Haha
Owww sciatic pain came on abruptly tonight and it SUCKS. Also peeing every 10 minutes make it worse because it’s especially painful to sit down/stand up.
@rabtaido1214 I'm also in agony today with my sciatica pain. Can't get comfortable and am constantly stretching. I also tried to nap and woke up gagging with acid reflux and couldn't catch my breath. Poor DH thought he was going to have to preform CPR.

@coffee-saur DD told me today that my belly looks like the moon
The heartburn has started to get worse. I took so many Tums when I was pregnant with DD that I ended up with a kidney stone about 4 months post partum because of all the added calcium so this time I'm not taking anything. Sometimes drinking a glass of milk helps.

Im curious if G already feeling so low will mean he comes early. Some days I swear he's pushing on my cervix.''
stuck in the box...but hoping that is not the case, because that would lead me to believe that i will be pregnant forever (cryptic-style ). This baby feels like it is being pushed up under my ribcage about 90% of the time. What in the world? Just chill in there...I am not trying to push you out anytime soon so you can relax a little.
Anyone else feeling a lot less movement after the 28 week mark? I'm sure it's normal but it's weird to go from so much activity last week to barely anything.
I've been trying to do the kick counts but I'm at work so hard to focus. Last 2 or 3 days babe has been very quiet in there.
I've cancelled on a couple of plans just because I didn't have the energy or mental capacity to put my bra back on.
I've gotten the charlie horse calf muscle cramp thing for the past 3 nights. It scares the heck out of DH because I shoot up in bed.
Sciatic nerve pain started over the weekend so that's just peachy.
On a positive not I'm a pretty good pregnant sleeper although I feel like I'm pissing baby off every time I switch sides. They are always punching and kicking in there to get comfortable again when I roll over.

@nasalot188 I'm dealing with the same thing now. I dont remember it happening with DS though. She is definitely moving but I feel like theres longer stretches of time when she's active like she normally is.
@bntfroggie I always scare SO when it happens. I haven't slept well the last three nights because of leg cramps and honestly I'm not sure how much more water I can drink!
I notice much more activity at night now. DH watched a video last night that was saying our movements during the day lull baby to sleep and so they're more active when we are laying down and relaxing. I have noticed that.
We had an extra crazy weekend and I was out in the heat and humidity a good portion of the day yesterday. I managed to get sunburned and now today I feel like crap. I'm chugging water trying to play catch up.
@nasalot188 I have noticed he sleeps longer, but when I stop what I'm doing and rest or eat he wakes up. I read that they sleep a lot more as of 28 weeks and even get REM sleep. When he is active it is much more pronounced and I can see it from the outside clearly. Still haven't figured out which body part it is, but it's cool.

Don’t know what kind of pain it is specifically (maybe sciatic?), but last night after I was sitting watching tv for a while, I got up from the couch and could not put any weight on my left foot without pain shooting up my leg and butt. I felt like such a cripple, and I just hobbled along with holding onto the table and couch instead of leaning on my left foot. After pushing through and moving for a few minutes it eased up a bit, but it was pretty bad there for a while!
@pumpkinpancake That could totally be sciatic but usually you feel like it is shooting down from your hip area to your foot. Or at least that is what I'm experiencing, but never had it pre-pregnancy. It could also be planter fasciitis (which I have pre-pregnancy for the last 4 years) and it is hard to walk/ put weight on your foot after sitting down or after walking too much. Before getting up loosen your feet muscles up by doing foot extensions and movements. Also Try rolling a frozen water bottle under your foot or a tennis ball. It helps loosen the tendons, also some deep calf stretching helps.

@bntfroggie I feel the same way when I switch sides. It's like I'm pinching her or something and she gets really angry and just starts punching me. It's super uncomfortable.
@kiwi2628 YES! This started recently for me too- my ribs are sore now but he's not kicking there at all. I guess he's just stretched out and digging up in there? I'm not sure. It's definitely uncomfortable.
I'm not sure if I'm dehydrated or getting a UTI? I've already called my doctor and we are increasing my water intake today, so we'll see if it helps. But I have some cramping like right above my pubic bone in my belly, i've started peeing even more frequently and sometimes it's a normal amount of pee and sometimes it's like nothing, and when I have to go, I HAVE TO GO NOW. Oh and all that discharge we all get- I've like dried up. So my doctor is hoping it's dehydration and more water helps and the frequency of pees is the baby punching my bladder. We'll see.
I’m starting to get cramps on my sides even with easy activity, like walking. They used to just happen when I went on long, brisk walks. Yesterday I was singing in the car and got a cramp. Seriously, body?! Even THAT is too much strain now?
Picking up DS’s toys every night has become the hardest thing in the world. Ditto to those wondering how we can survive 10-14 weeks more of this.
On a positive note, the leg and ankle swelling I had last pregnancy hasn’t been too bad during this one, but yeah... I guess I still have 12 weeks left, so we’ll see!
I think #3 is high, but some days I feel him down low too. Idk. Z was up in my ribs until about 20 minutes before he was born. I was induced at 41 Weeks and was about to be taken for a C section. He was like “hell no!” and dropped from my ribs fully into my pelvis. The nurse called it a demon drop.
I haven't had any issues breathing at all...guess that means she's pretty low? But I am struggling to pick things off the floor and bend over and put on pants, and I have a relatively small bump. It's like a pinching feeling. Ugh. (Yes I know squatting is better for picking things up, but my quads are dead from 150 weighted squats on Saturday)
