R/R: I'm losing my optimism. I've been crampy on and off for a few days. This happened pretty consistently last cycle too. I just dont know what to think of it. Part of me feels like maybe there's something going on and the cramping is hindering implantation. I have never had this happen before last cycle. Does/has this happen/ed to anyone else?
CS/Q: Temps are not making me feel confident today. Neither is RHR. I know its early still but ehh.
R/R: Not much yet today, I’m sore today though. Hoping some yoga will lossen me up. Had a nice visit with my brother last night, just wish he wouldn’t drink so much. I worry about him from a medical standpoint.
CS/Q: O day changed back to Friday because of a temp drop this morning, with old CH would’ve been below cover. So idk what to believe. I’ll probably stop temping after tomorrow and start my progesterone.
R/R: DH leaves for his work trip tomorrow He hasn't had to travel in a while so I am sad about it. Especially since he will be gone over the weekend. But my last day of work is next Tuesday. Then I visit him in Portland Thurs-Sun and start my new job that following Monday. Crazy!
CS/Q: My temp is back up today and I don't know if it's because I had alcohol last night or because it actually went up haha. I had like two drinks and finished my last one before 10, then took my temp at 5:25, so who knows. I will just hang out here and see what tomorrow brings. Gotta love confusing cycles. I know it is different for everyone, but do you guys typically notice big spikes with alcohol? I feel like sometimes it does affect my chart and sometimes doesn't.
@prpl11butterfly, I'm definitely not an expert but I have noticed that I read into my body way more than I usually would since we've been TTC. Is it possible the cramping is just a stomach bug/indigestion/sore muscles that you're noticing more? Not trying to say you don't know your own body, I haven't experienced cramps except around my period so I don't have any useful advice for you, sorry .
@kindbytealikat, I love yoga! I never do enough of it at home, but it really helps me relax. I hope you find time for it and it helps you feel less sore!
@sparklingdiamond, I hate when my SO works late or is away for training too. A new job sounds exciting though!
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 21 / 7 (I think)
Timing: This spot does refer to when you DTD, right? I'm still learning all of the lingo If so... -3, -2, -1, +1.
Typical LP length: 14 days, I think.
Testing: August 5th if no period next week.
R/R: I've been feeling very down about my body and my exercise lately. Hoping I can get a good workout in today to help feel better. Also, this rain needs to knock it off! I'm tired of dealing with a leaky roof and an overflooded septic . On a positive note, we're going away for the weekend to my parents cabin, so yay for mini vacations!
CS/Q: Does anyone have experience with the Ovia app? I know I see a lot of FF mentioned. I haven't begun tracking my BBT yet, it's still really confusing to me honestly. According to Ovia, I could take a test on Sunday, but I really don't want to test early and be disappointed like last month.
@prpl11butterfly I've had light cramping like that in quite a few previous cycles; it's usually kind of a pinching type of sensation more than period-like cramps. It usually starts around 5 DPO or so and there have been times I've had a very clear, sharp-ish pinching type feeling that I could swear was implantation, but obviously it wasn't so...
TL;DR You're not alone and you're not crazy, I've had that same thing

@lulu1180 Obviously I want it to be implantation but I'm very aware at how unlikely that is, especially considering it starts so early. Knowing I'm not alone makes me feel less worried, thank you.
I apologize, @prpl11butterfly, I realized after the fact that my comment made it sound like I was invalidating your concern. I hope you find answers - our bodies are so confusing and random sometimes.
@prpl11butterfly Cramping mid LP is not something that I have experienced, but I really hope that it is not hindering the process for you at all. @kindbytealikat Glad that you had a good visit with your brother. Yoga sounds like a wonderful idea! @sparklingdiamond So great that you are able to go out and see YH while he is working. I have so many friends in Portland that love it. I am kinda jealous of your quiet weekend though lol @kangstadt Ugh leaking roof does not sound like fun! Hope you can get that fixed soon. Enjoy your weekend away. @jessg2223 Have a fun weekend! What kind of phone did you end up with?
Month/Cycle: 14/16 (4 benched)
CD/DPO: 15/2
Timing: -3, -1, +1
Typical LP length: 14 days
Testing: Nope
R/R: Went in for my CT scan this morning which involved an IV all was fine, pulled out the IV and was just about to stand up and leave and they decide that they want more images higher up. So IV back in the other arm and back in we go. The IV fluid was really freaky feeling. The nurse said it would make me feel like I pee'd myself and it sure did.
@prpl11butterfly I've felt a lot of small cramps, twinges, pulls this month but I think I'm just overly sensitive. I have had cramps at random times during my cycles. @kindbytealikat I wish I liked yoga. I know so many people who get such joy from it. Hope it helps. @sparklingdiamond A trip to Portland before starting a new job should be fun! Especially to visit your H. @kangstadt There's a healthy check in thread here too if you want to join! I try to hold myself a bit more accountable with exercise with it. @jessg2223 A long weekend away with family sounds lovely! @nitnat007 I thought your spoiler had your chart in it and jumped when I saw a big hairy chest haha!!
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 20/8 not temping so this is a guess.
Timing: good
Typical LP length: 14?
Testing: Going out with friends Friday, so thinking of testing so I know if I can have a drink or not but am starting to talk myself out of it. I don't want to be disappointed for nothing.
R/R: Driving myself nuts with all the symptom spotting. Will definitely start temping next month. Not knowing what is going on is making this worse for me.
CS/Q: I've been searching a bit about thermometers and saw some recommendations in other threads. I feel a bit dumb asking this...is there a specific "ovulation thermometer" or is it just a normal thermometer with more accuracy?
Me: 31 H: 36 L & N twin girls: 3yo. Born at 30 weeks. 2 month NICU stay BFP Aug 2018: EDD April 2019
@mermaidca The only important aspect you want in a good BBT is that it takes temperature to a tenth of a degree (.1, .2, .3, etc). Normal fever thermometers go in increments of 2/10 (.2, .4, etc). The one that I use (and you see often recommended) is the Mabis, that's about $8 or so on Amazon and takes the temp out to a hundredth of a degree (.01, .02, etc). Just be aware that this one does not have a backlight, so you would need other light to see the temp reading. It does, however, keep the most recent reading, so you could always temp then when you get up, get the temp from the BBT and put it into FF. I use the light from my phone to read the temp as DH is usually still sleeping.

@prpl11butterfly Sorry to hear you’re losing your optimism,
but I definitely understand. I am crampy more times than not and it gets me
down too. However one of my close friends said she was crampy too and she got
her BFP so I’m keeping my fx for us!
@sparklingdiamond A new job is so exciting! I typically find
that 1-2 drinks doesn’t really make much of a difference for me. Now if I have
more than that, I know it’ll be way high, so I usually just skip temping that
morning.
@kangstadt I’m so jealous of your mini vacation! I hope you
have a wonderful and relaxing time.
@jessg2223 EEK! I have my fx for you and your test tomorrow
morning!!
@nitnat007 I’m glad your CT scan is over and done with! Your
timing looks good this cycle (:
@mermaidca I’m in the same boat you are in regards to
Friday. I’d love to have at least one alcoholic beverage because we’re going to
hear a band with another couple and they don’t know we’re TTC and It’d be nice
to avoid the speculation. You will need
to get a basal body temperature thermometer. I ordered mine off Amazon. I
suggest getting one that lights up if you can. It’s hard to read them first
thing in the morning!
Thanks @lulu1180 and @crookshanks10 !!! Now I'm having the battle of do I order on Amazon now so there's time for it to come before my next cycle or wait because of course if I buy one this will be the cycle it happens haha.

@prpl11butterfly I'm sorry you're feeling down and not very optimistic. I still think it's to early to read into anything. I still have FX for you. @sparklingdiamond I hate when DH has to leave for work conferences. Usually only one a year for a week, but I still hate it none the less. This year was Seattle to and I was going to go but FIL got diagnosed so we decided to save money to travel there instead so I didn't get to go. @kangstadt Take exercise one day at a time. Celebrate you're little wins and don't beat yourself up over your little fails. Sorry about your roof. I don't know anything about OVIA I love FF and I always recommend temping it helps things make so much sense, feel free to PM me with questions. @jessg2223 Have a fun vacay @mermaidca maybe you just haven't found the right type of yoga. I can't do the yoga where you just hold one pose forever, I get bored. I look for ones that have a moderate pace between moves. I love the feeling of a good stretch and it forces me to slow down and relax.
@marebear15 and @lulu1180 I'm in Canada and don't have prime. Some don't even ship here. I'll find one. Thanks for the help!
You might be right @kindbytealikat I don't like the static yoga either. I get bored. And I don't think I've been doing it right - finally one instructor told me that every muscle should be engaged, you shouldn't be just "stretching". Never knew that!

@kindbytealikat, I may just do that. Temping seems like a total mystery to me, and I do wonder if it'll make me obsess even more than I already do. My SO already told me last month that I was banned from Google for awhile .
