Anyone dealing with constipation, try colace. It’s a stool softner and helped me with my first pregnancy.
this pregnancy is my 5th, and it’s feeling similar to my 2nd except I don’t remember cramping this much. They aren’t painful, just more of an annoying feeling. My lower back hurts quite a bit this time so I’m hoping that’s a good sign of my progesterone levels being where they need to be. I dry heaved for the first time tonight and I have a feeling this baby is going to be similar to their sister and dislike carbs.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
Anyone else dealing with horrible nausea?! I don’t even want to get off the couch because my stomach is always so queasy. I’m wearing sea bands, taking tums, eating pretty bland (other than kfc yesterday), and I’m not sure what else to do. Any other suggestions? I remember this with my first one but not this early (today is 6 weeks).
@ashley14598 I'm so sorry! That is the worst! I was exactly the same with DD and early too! Preggy pop drops and I found if I ate little snacks often (even though I had to force them in my mouth) it helped. My nausea seemed to get worse when my stomach was empty which was hard because I wanted nothing to do with food. Unflavored almonds helped because they don't have a strong smell or taste and are packed with protein.
@ashley14598 I barely had it with my first and have been having a pretty rough time since before I got a + test this time around. I don’t have any great suggestions, but I am right there with you.
I have been drinking iced, unsweetened ginger-lemon or peppermint tea. It’s the only thing that has really been helping.
